    Easily one of the finest brunch meals I’ve ever eaten. Service was excellent and atmosphere was top notch. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.

    Excellent table service provided and wait staff recommended Cajun gumbo. It was very tasty and loaded with shrimp. Great dessert offerings as well. Highly recommend!

    Service, food & ambience are always excellent at Zanzenberg Tavern. Our favorite restaurant & thankful they are here! The seared venison & duck salad were amazing!

    Consistantly excellent! Can't say enough about the originality, quality, presentation, and overall experience. My wife had the wild boar chops (AMAZING) and I had the stuffed poblano pepper (wow!). Appetizer was homemade ricotta with marinated red peppers (YUM!). Also, an absolutely outstanding cocktail bar.

    This was our second visit for Sunday brunch and it was just as amazing as the first time. Our server Danny was the very good and attentive. The brunch menu is full of surprises such as escargot which was the best any of us had ever had - that included all 5 people at our table that ordered it. The historic building added to the whole experience but the main draw is the amazing food.

    Zandberg Tavern is a lovely restaurant and definitely one of our favorites. We are happy to drive the 30 minutes from Boerne to eat there. The food is excellent. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is equally as lovely. Highly recommend.

    Our party of five tried a variety of appetizers, cocktails, entrees, and desserts. Every item was delicious, and the outdoor seating was beautiful. We highly recommend it!
