    Anthony is always a wonderful host and Edward’s food is delicious! They both make a wonderful team and certainly make all guests feel welcome. Will makes the best drinks and the garden area in back is so peaceful. Definitely a go to place for us.

    Absolutely the best place in Kerr County. Food is delicious. Service impeccable. Atmosphere is perfect. Menu is excellent. Cocktails are excellent. Cannot go wrong here.

    This was our first trip to Zanzenberg Tavern for dinner. It is a unique dining spot with some entrees that are rarely found in a small town like Comfort - or even Kerrville. The escargots were excellent. My wife really enjoyed the carpaccio and the tuna tartar. My only complaint is the noise level. On a Saturday night with a full house, the acoustics are horrible. Talking to the person across the table is practically impossible. Next time we will dine outside, weather permitting.

    Consistently delightful. This is our “girls night dinner” HQ. There is a nostalgic warmth to the ambiance, but the menu always meets the moment. The tuna tartare is a must every time, and the date cake is divine!

    We've eaten at Zanzenbrrg 4 times now, and it's become our favorite restaurant in the San Antonio/hill country area. They really know what they're doing..is about the best way I can describe the food/service/and decor. Very highly recommend.

    The creative, rotating menu means that there’s always something new to try, even if we go back just a few weeks later. The service is impeccable, the cocktails sublime, and a stroll in the garden after dinner is dreamy.
