My boyfriend and I have been trying to get reservations to Zahav for the longest time! We heard great things about it, but was never able to get a slot for restaurant week. I finally managed to get one to go for his birthday. It was hard work watching their opentable page everyday and trying to figure what the pattern was so that I can grab a spot on his actual birthday! I put in a lot of effort planning for his special day and I was glad he enjoyed his dinner at Zahav. Thank you so much for wishing him a happy birthday and taking the extra step to even write his name on the menu. Needless to say, the dishes we ordered were delicious as expected. I did not like the haloumi too much but everything else especially the eggplant and fried cauliflower were good! Soo glad i saved room for dessert, the dark chocolate custard was to die for! We will be back! :)

Made reservation couple months before since restaurant always booked up and heard great things about it - it was worth the wait - great food - great service from friendly and knowledgeable staff - can't wait to go back

Zahav was the best meal by far that I've ever eaten! We had the lamb shoulder meal for the table which included tastings of Salatin and mezze as well as desserts. The only dish I didn't care for was the duck hearts but others in our party loved them. My grandmother was an amazing Lebanese cook--Zahav (dare I admit it?) surpassed all of my expectations! Bravo! Congratulations on your James Beard award.

Grateful to have a kid at Drexel, it gives me an excuse to come to Philadelphia. And if I can plan far enough in advance, I can get a reservation at Zahav. How does Solomonov pack all that flavor into every bite? And they are such amazing flavors. Also, as we were there for a birthday, they gave us special menus printed with the name of the birthday person in our party, it was a very nice touch! Can't wait to return.

Amazing food, amazing service, I loved the ambience. The food was some of the most tasty and exotic food I've ever tried. Portions seemed small but by the end I realized how much food we actually got in total! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!
