Z Cucina di Spirito Dublin
Z Cucina's menu offers flavorful and well seasoned small plates, salads and main courses. Truly a "scratch kitchen" as we make our own ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sausage, breads and desserts. Our menu also includes our hand-made ravioli, tortolloni and fresh pastas. The restaurant features a full bar with specialties such as the Pera di Miele, Basil Gin Smash and the Blood Orange Margarita. Also offered is a well crafted, artisan wine list with gems from the various regions of Italy including Tuscany, Piedmont, Apulia and Veneto as well as the countries of Spain, France, Australia and the U.S.
Fantastic food and service. Unbelievable attentive staff and owner/manager who is off the charts. Make your reservation NOW.
Food was excellent. Staff was excellent. Will be bringing friends back to this place for sure.
Some in the group were new to Z Cucina. Everyone loved their meal. We went from appetizers to dessert and coffee.
We are frequent visitors to the Dublin location. We are always impressed with the food and service.
Friendly, comfortable and classy. Diverse, delicious menu choices, including specialty cocktails. Great service. Highly recommend.
Underwhelmed by the value of the meal. $19 and got 3 small ravioli covered in a mound of tomatoes and spinach. Happy hour prices however were good.
Great food and environment
Server Becca was fantastic!
Generally really like Z Cucina, but not on this visit. To be fair, I would have given "n/a" ratings to all the categories except for service (but OT doesn't allow for that rating). Bottom line is we were never served. We were seated, and brought water within a minute and that was the last we saw of anyone. My wife wanted to leave at the 10 minute mark, I asked to wait another 5 minutes - we left at minute 16. Were they busy? Not at all!
Our Server Susan was outstanding as was the food. The peach appetizer special was excellent and well prepared by the chef.
Good I’m Beyonce. The food was not so great
We made a reservation for 7:30 and were seated promptly. We dined on the patio - the surroundings were lovely. The wait staff was efficient - the food outstanding. This was truly the very best gazpacho I’ve ever had.
It was a perfect evening - we look forward to returning.
3 out of the meals were excellent. The lasagna bolognese however was way to watery.
Service was good and the atmosphere is great. The food, however... 4 out of the 8 of us didn’t love what we got. Could just be personal taste. I got the braised short rib. It was just ok. The greens and corn mash that came with it were not very flavorful- for $34, I was still hungry. My husband got chicken parm- he said it was not very good- he thought the sauce wasn’t very good, there wasn’t enough Parmesan... again, it just might be a matter of personal taste, but he just didn’t like it. Someone at our table got the halibut special and she said it was very good. Another person at the table got one of the flatbreads and said it was good. If we go back I might get a salad or a flatbread
Brought a very discriminating business leader to dinner at Z Cucina ( who happens to be a sommelier) - thrilled with the quality of food and service. go to place for company events!
Food was cold and overall not good at all. Server was rude. This was our 3rd time here thought it would improve . Sad there is not an amazing Italian in bridge park.
The food is incredible and the atmosphere tremendous. I love going to the Z.
Great food, fantastic service!
Great cheese board, prosciutto wrapped scallops and sausage flatbread!
My husband and I met another couple for happy hour at the bar just last week. I thought the restaurant was a little too stark as far as aesthetics goes. It needs some color and mood lighting or something. It just seems a little cold when you walk in. The bar is a nice big square with plenty of seating around it which was nice. The happy hour menu is fairly decent with several good options to chose from with really good prices especially for Dublin. We had the meatballs which were pretty good and the calamari. We ended up not having dinner there so I can't comment on the entrees. I think we would definitely be open to coming back at least for another happy hour at some point.
Z Cucina is an awesome place to go with friends or on a date night. The staff is super and I love when you ask the server a question and they truly tell you their opinion not what they want you to hear or buy. If you don't go and eat at Z Cucina you are missing out big time. Boom!
Our dinner was so so. The food was okay but not great. Our appetizer (risotto fritters) was warm but not hot. The flatbread pizzas we had were pretty good but pricey. We sat on the patio and smelled smoke from people just outside of the patio smoking. Overall, it was okay but not great. I doubt we will be back.
Always outstanding service & food!
Some food was not hot enough and other food was too hot to eat. Service was below par for a Dublin restaurant. We were charged 330 dollars when our bill was 230 dollars but our table caught the error.
Fabulous authentic Italian food. Excellent cocktails and wine list.
Was not overly impressed. The extremely poor waitress did not help. Once she heard we were doing small plates, it was clear we were not worth her time. Spilled EVERYTHING she brought to the table. Only time she was pleasant was when it came time to pay the bill... so fake.. Also who brings coffee with NO cream and sugar and is surprised when we ask for it. No decaf cappuccino option? Never saw that before at a restaurant. We were okay with the food options. But have no urge to rush back. So many better Italian restaurants around Dublin.
A friend’s birthday
Everything was great except I would have preferred the traditional melon, not watermelon, with the prosciutto.
We were seated upon arrival at our reservation time. Ordered drinks and the salami charcuterie, both of which were excellent. I had the veal short ribs and my wife had the goat cheese ravioli. Both were excellent and of ample size. Becca, our server, was attentive and spot on. The overall experience was outstanding except the noise level. Highly recommend this venue
Wife had the goat cheese ravioli with sausage crumbles and loved it. I had the halibut on the recommendation of our server and was very pleased with it.
Great food and atmosphere.
Rick and his staff continually deliver an awesome experience, from the beginning to the end. We’ve visited both Z Cucina restaurants and have received a level of service rarely given elsewhere. Enjoy the excellent cocktail list, amazing house-made mozzarella, and mind-blowing seasonal mains. Leave room for the butterscotch panna cotta and a tipple of something to finish off the evening! We’ll be back soon!
The restaurant was gorgeous. Amazing food. And spectacular service! The butterscotch panna cotta to top of our meal... 🤤🤤🤤
This was our third time to Z Cucina in 6 weeks. The food presentation and quality of taste has been consistently great along with the service.
My only criticism would be a couple of times, there was a lengthy wait for the entree.
Fantastic setting, food and service!
Very friendly staff. We showed up early and were still able to be seated instead of waiting for our actual reservation. Good mixture of casual and business attire with all being treated equally. Food was amazing! My friend is vegetarian and we are used to her having a choice of one dish or a salad. She needed a few minutes to decide because of all of the options available. Will definitely be going back many times!
Overpriced food. Our meat charcuterie literally had one piece of meat per type on the board. The cheese charcuterie was slightly better but the server never explained what was on either board so I had no idea what I was eating. The homemade ricotta was too salty and I love salt. There were no toast crips. We had to use the soft bread from the bread basket. Each board was $14+/each. Completely over priced and not worth it. And to top things off the red pepper on the cheese board still had the sticker on it. The entree was not much better. The pizza was a rip off. A pizza from MOD at half the cost was 100 times better in cost and taste. Save your money and dine elsewhere.
Meatballs were cold and pasta was hard; very loud and really not an upscale dining experience
Delicious food well prepared. Very good service. Friendly owner/host. Beautiful Decour. Nice location.
Great overall atmosphere great food service also staff is super friendly and when I was there the chef made the wrong food he came out right away and apologize to me super appreciative didn't need to do it with happy with what I was eating also gave me a free entree to take home because he made a mistake would recommend this place to anybody that I know
Wonderful dinner to celebrate a birthday
Great service will definitely be back
