Z Cucina di Spirito Dublin
Z Cucina's menu offers flavorful and well seasoned small plates, salads and main courses. Truly a "scratch kitchen" as we make our own ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sausage, breads and desserts. Our menu also includes our hand-made ravioli, tortolloni and fresh pastas. The restaurant features a full bar with specialties such as the Pera di Miele, Basil Gin Smash and the Blood Orange Margarita. Also offered is a well crafted, artisan wine list with gems from the various regions of Italy including Tuscany, Piedmont, Apulia and Veneto as well as the countries of Spain, France, Australia and the U.S.
We ate at the bar. The drinks were fine. Ordered two small pizzas and could not finish them. They were not very good at all. They need to go back to the old recipe for their pizzas or get a cook who understands how to prepare them properly.
The outside seating was excellent. I thought the drinks were overpriced, but the food good.
If you are gluten free you should know that the chef will create original pasta dishes for you. mine was a creamy mushroom with chicken and spinach and it was delicious!
Service was on point. Food was very tasty. Glad we went
Great owner and great experience!
By far, the best modern Italian in all of Columbus!! The service, staff, and ambiance are stellar!
We can't wait to go back.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. We celebrated a birthday and had a great time.
Great meals. Melon salad and grouper were delicious.
Everything was wonderful except for when we came inside from outside became my children decided it was too cold and the man working the hair stand sarcastically said “imagine that” he most definitely thought it was under his breath, but sir it was not and I would be more cautious next time. If everything else was not so wonderful, food & service I would probably not think about returning.
We enjoyed a beautiful anniversary dinner tonight at Z Cucina Dublin. This was our first time here and we were treated like gold from the moment we entered. We had a lovely, private, and socially distant table on the patio. Our server Sara and owner Rick were highly attentive. We enjoyed tapas, the risotto fritters, smoked chicken and corn ravioli, chicken Parmesan, chocolate mousse and of course, cocktails. We were incredibly pleased with every dish. What a nice taste of Italy right here in Dublin with the very best service. We spend every anniversary on a cruise, but of course, COVID cancelled our plans this year. Our evening tonight certainly helped lift our spirits and reminded us that we can find first class experiences right here in Ohio, complete with the fancy anniversary dessert. Check it out!
This restaurant always makes one feel special. Tonight was no exception. Great experience start to finish. One of this city’s real gems.
We started with the meatball appetizer and it was delicious! Great way to start off a meal!
Great food, service, and ambience. Highly recommended. We will be back!
This was our first experience with Z Cucina in Dublin. The menu, particularly the specials, is over-priced. Our server tried to do an admirable job but she seemed really stretched and couldn't give us the attention we expected nor that she wanted. So probably not her fault. We waited for an hour for our entrees. Asked a bus boy for more bread while we waited but it never came. No one cleared our plates after we finished our meal. During our meal, a party of approximately 15 gentlemen were shown to a private room. Less than half of them wore masks as they walked from the front door to through the entire restaurant to their private room.
Great interactions with the gentleman answering the phone, we changed our party number and he was great! Our server did not seem to be enjoying taking care of us. We are a fun and nice group and usually have a great time with the server. He was efficient and knowledgeable, but not very friendly. We were there for our anniversary however we did not receive the “special” anniversary dessert, which was fine, we ordered one anyway. A little pricey, good wine selection.
We had a lovely time at Z Cucina di Spirito! The owner, Rick, was very friendly and chatted with us throughout our visit to check in. The food was great, a slight modern twist on traditional Italian. There was a great wine list and plenty of Gluten Free options. A great location and overall a wonderful experience. Grazie Mille Z Cucina!
Summer is wrapping up so wanted to take advantage of the superb summer spinach salad with the awesome house made cheese and dressing. It’s flavor combination with the sun dried tomatoes is like nothing I’ve experienced before. Add the special House Gin Basil smash cocktail and the mood is set! Main course is always tough to decide among many specialties but I did the tortellini with the special house made sausage and as usual it was awesome. Katie was as always an impeccable server and she even was training Brian in the ways of Z excellent service. Our favorite restaurant, can you tell?
We sat outside, where a handful of restaurants are currently placing tables in the middle of the streets to accommodate outside seating. The noise level was surprisingly low which was great, as everyone could hear one another speak. The food tasted great and our waitress was the best! Would highly recommend.
Awesome food and atmosphere. What a great addition to Dublin.
I chose this restaurant because it was close by, I had been there before and thought it was just average. However, every moment of this evening was delightful and delicious. The waitress was personable and professional. Cocktails were perfect. The Caprese Salad was fabulous with a beautiful pesto sauce. The Shrimp Diavolo was fresh and spicy, perfect dinner for summer. The Swordfish Special (my favorite) served with risotto was amazing.
Expensive. Limited menu for an Italian restaurant. $20 for 3 ravioli which didn’t include a side dish or salad. We ordered a cheese board appetizer and it was served without crackers to eat it with. They did make a great martini. My husband ordered lasagna. It was served in a skillet which remained so hot that he couldn’t eat it at the restaurant. It was a good and a sizable portion.
Wow, such a great experience. We felt so welcome when we arrived and were sat at a lovely table inside. The atmosphere is bright and the surroundings are beautiful. The food was amazing and the service was the best. I will definitely be going back.
Sat on the back patio. Beautiful sunset paired with great food and service.
I like the food here very much. My major complaint is that we were not seated until about 25 minutes after the time of our reservation. I know restaurant table management is not an exact science; sometimes diners linger longer than expected. And I know COVID has reduced the seating capacity inside. But we’ve dined here 3 times pre-COVID with reservations and we experienced the same problem in an extended wait to be seated after our appointed reservation time.
Another great experience at Z Cucina! We opted to sit on the new patio in front of the restaurant which was nicely spaced and felt plenty safe. The food is excellent! My husband ordered a chicken and corn ravioli that he absolutely loved. I am a vegetarian and am so impressed that there are so many options. We will be back!
Always a nice experience! We will be back.
I have tried this place in Grandview a few times and wasn’t impressed. I was craving Italian and wanted to give it another chance because I heard good things about the bridge park location. Let’s just say I won’t be giving it another go! The service was awful, they mentioned they were short staffed as soon as we walked in. The server seemed annoyed by us and to be honest we only saw her three times. Clearly she was busy but the bartender, manager didn’t seem to jump in and help. The gentlemen bussing was doing his best and honestly the best employee in the restaurant. The food was not good, the only thing we enjoyed was the salad. We barely ate our entrees. I’m in the business so it pains me to give a bad review especially during a pandemic but they could have done better. I hope they pull it together.
Great service, lovely ambiance and the food was delicious.
Delicious food and great service. A wonderful night out.
Wonderful food. Good environment and socially distanced. Could have used more than 2 one by one-inch cubes of bread to dip in our oil tho.
Overpriced pasta, wasn’t even that good for what I paid. Rather go to Olive Garden. Don’t waste your money.
Food was delicious. Overall great experience!
Service was great! Love patio dining this time of year!
Our experience was amazing. I was so impressed with the staff calling ahead of time to confirm our reservation. The outdoor seating area in the street is incredible and safe. The food and service were amazing. Thank you so much for your attention to detail for safety and enjoyment. Will definitely be back!
The hostesses and the owner, Jackie, greeted us enthusiastically and took us to a table with a beautiful view of the Dublin bridge. We ordered some risotto fritters as an appetizer, and they were incredible! My two guests ordered the lasagna bolognese and I ordered the Italian sausage tortelli. No one in my group is of legal drinking age, but we were treated with the same amount of attentiveness and respect as someone would receive if they were able to order some wine or cocktails to compliment the meal, unlike some previous dining experiences I have had at other restaurants. 10/10 recommend! I made a reservation and they were grateful that we did especially on a friday night.
I cannot express the quality and flavor of the food that Z Cucina makes on a daily basis. From the homemade bread and sun dried tomato oil to the fresh fish and local produce pairings to Meatball Monday’s, there is no better food in all of Bridge Park!
Once again, the food was incredible!! A great place to celebrate!!
Locally owned, beautiful atmosphere & interesting menu. If you are a pasta-lover, you must try this place! They make everything from scratch and it's absolutely delicious!
Enjoyed a meal out during this time of stay at home. Comfortable outside seating and service was well done. The food was very good and unique.
