Z Cucina di Spirito Dublin
Z Cucina's menu offers flavorful and well seasoned small plates, salads and main courses. Truly a "scratch kitchen" as we make our own ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sausage, breads and desserts. Our menu also includes our hand-made ravioli, tortolloni and fresh pastas. The restaurant features a full bar with specialties such as the Pera di Miele, Basil Gin Smash and the Blood Orange Margarita. Also offered is a well crafted, artisan wine list with gems from the various regions of Italy including Tuscany, Piedmont, Apulia and Veneto as well as the countries of Spain, France, Australia and the U.S.
Rick the owner was very nice and welcoming. He made us feel very special. Are at the bar. Both bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to going back!
We had a wonderful meal...shared plates...meatballs, mushroom bruschetta, warm olives were great, as well as everything else we ordered! Our server was attentive and the owner, Rick was friendly and gracious. Nice addition to Bridge Park!
Great addition to Bridge Park!
Reservation was made but did not get seated for an hour and half after reservation time. Service was very slow.
Appetizers came after salads etc.
Tried the restaurant for the first time, awesome service awesome food awesome place super accommodating. Can’t wait to get back
Was seated 35 minutes after my reservation time. At one point I went up to the hostess to figure out how much longer it would be & was told I was next - then watched as 3 other groups were seated. We were a minute away from leaving when we were finally seated
Clam dish is right from Italy, traveled extensively all over Europe and this restaurant feels European and the staff go out of there way to accommodate you. This restaurant has established a new benchmark in Dublin for quality. We will be back often and I will make my reservation now for the Memorial weekend so I know I can have a table.
The sweet potato gnocchi is fantastic! I always love going to the grandview location. They are consistently great meals. A great experience at the Dublin location as well! Welcome to Dublin Z Cucina!
We were seated nearly 45 minutes after our reservation time (and after asking 2x when our table might be ready). We weren't offered any solid explanation as to why it took them so long to seat us, and once we were seated, the experience didn't improve much. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the food was less than impressive and the service was lukewarm. Based on our experience, I think we'll explore other options in the Bridge Park area next time.
Love, love, love our first visit here. Wild mushroom bruschetta was delish and vegetarian options were aplenty! The roasted cauliflower steak on the feature menu was amazing. Keep the good stuff coming. We’ll be back!
We really like the Z Cucina in Grandview, and wanted to give the new one in Dublin a try. We went there after it had been open for two weeks, and I felt the food was not quite as good as the food at the Grandview location., and I wish there were more light and healthy options on the menu (but it is mostly an Italian restaurant so perhaps I can’t expect that.) The service was good and the space was spacious with a contemporary and slight industrial vibe. We did not have to shout to have a conversation which was a nice change of pace. Overall, I would give it 3.5 stars and might go back again.
We took friends to celebrate their anniversary for dinner at the new Bridge Park location. We were seated immediately, ordered drinks and waited a long time so Rachel our server bought the first round! The food was good. My husband liked the lasagne, the veggie and charcuterie boards were interesting and tasty and I enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli especially the savory breadcrumb mixture which could not balance the too sweet fruity sauce. The bread is very soft ( something with a chewier consistency with crunchy crust would be better vehicle not only for the olive oil served with the bread, but to eat with salad, cheeses and even pasta.)
As the evening progressed (the restaurant was busy and new, but table next to us had extremely attentive server) there were very long wait times between seeing our server which was only drawback for a return visit.
Food was delicious. Waiter was outstanding. Host/hostesses seemed a little disorganized. I'm guessing because the restaurant just recently opened, and they are still just getting into the groove.
Waiter was very knowledgeable about food. Food was excellent
Greeted as soon as we walked in the door, and led into an open area dining. They have phenomenal food, mouth-watering deserts, and was well worth the price.
The experience at Z is always top notch! This was our first time visiting the dublin location and it did not disappoint. Always a welcoming environment and amazing service. Veggie friendly too! Highly recommend!
The dining room is beautiful, the service was awesome, and the food was amazing!
Surprised to find a second Z Cucina on Open Table! Four friends got together for dinner before the holiday rush. So easy to get there and easy parking. Same great food and service. We enjoyed appetizers, dinner and dessert. We all enjoyed our first time there and will certainty go again!
A new crown jewel fro Dublin, Ohio at Bridge Park. Tremendous food and atmosphere - highly recommend
Z Cucina in Grandview is one of my favorite restaurants. I was excited to see them come to Bridge Park. The food is excellent. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant.
This newest [open just 10 days] restaurant to hit Dublin is located in the Bridge Park area, with abundant free parking. Each of the four of us loved our dinners, and the servers were well trained, informative. My dinner, prosciutto-wrapped scallops on a bed of smoked salmon prosciutto with caper limoncello butter, but among the best I've ever had, and we've traveled to over 50 countries. Spacious seating means ease of room to pull chairs out, move around, and reasonably quiet.
large menu with lots of different options from small plates, salads, pastas and traditional entrees. All of our food tasted great. Will definitely return.
Loud and open dining room. Food was not worth the cost.
An impromptu dinner with friends, all of who love good food, good beer and a happy bartender. We did make a reservation but after spending some time at the bar prior to our reservation time we decided to have dinner there instead of a table. Alicia (bartender) made us feel welcome and was delightful! The menu will make your head spin with so much wonderfulness offered! We were impressed with every dish that was served. Rick (turned out to be the owner) stopped by to ask if we were enjoying ourselves and if everything was good with us. What a pleasant surprise! We will be visiting again and again (that is if we can get a reservation once word gets out about this gem). Thanks for a great experience Z cucina!
Food is amazing...seasonal and yummy
Great food in Z Cucina’s second store. Wonderful setting. Service was fabulous.
We had a great experience at the new location. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were fabulous. So glad to have this restaurant in Bridge Park. We’ll be back!
So glad we tried this place. From the warm welcome by the owner to our server Dave, and our food everything was just exceptional. Throughout the night Rick the owner checked on our evening. The kids menu is great and inexpensive. Our daughter ordered the chicken strips which as was all the food homemade. I had the duck ragout and my wife had the squash ravioli in brown butter. For an appetizer we tried the fall vegetable plate. You must try the squash fries and the pumpkin brûlée. Everything was exceptional and we will absolutely be returning soon.
We love Z Cucina. We frequent the Grandview location and we were so excited to hear they were opening a second location in Dublin. You’ll get the same great food you’re used to at the Grandview location plus a bigger bar ( awesome happy hr specials). All their seasonal items are a must. I love that they’re always experimenting with the menu. The owner Rick or his wife are always there and both so attentive. By far one of our favorite restaurants in the city!
This is THE place if you want daily fresh ingredient meals, from the butternut squash soup to the Arctic Char special they have it all including daily on site fresh Gelato!
What other DUBLIN restaurant has that? I liked the 10 year Tawny Port for my dessert. If you want real fresh prepared Italian then you have found the place. I see us Dublin resident’s here each week. The manager (Rick) and staff have set the benchmark for service. Great food and service, thank you Rick for elevating our Dublin dining options! 5 stars.
Awesome food, great options for vegetarian. Drink menu solid.
Excellent all around!
Great service, drink and food!! We will definitely be back.
Excellent service from Susan, wide ranging menu and incredible flavors...
Nice opening night Rick, Eileen was a great server. So happy to have you in Dublin!
Food was superb! Ambiance is not as cozy as the Grandview location. Felt industrialized. Maybe it is because it had just opened.
