Wonderful meal. We all chose different small plates and shared. The pitas were amazing. Definitely recommend the chicken meatballs, cauliflower and lamb ribs. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Very attentive to a food allergy. Cool atmosphere too!

Great food and service in a beautiful environment. They did a fantastic job with the old Locke Ober space. It's good to see the space being used so well.

This place’s food is super refined like
Cambridge’s Cuchi Cuchi or Oleanna ,but delivered in a super cool old bespoke elegant Gatsby / Queen Anne cruise ship setting ... Yvonne’s lives up to the hype

Amazing architecture with great history - ask the host for more info on this space.

Yvonne’s is a good place to go with a group of friends for drinks and small plates or large “feasts” to share. Great place to celebrate a birthday.

It’s pretty noisy because it is more of a bar with a younger scene, so it’s not great for a romantic date night.

Drinks and food are delicious - tapas wit run you about 18 each dish and feasts about 80 per dish ( A LOT of food, to share!!!).

Expensive food and drinks, not sure it’s worth the price. Super loud inside with Bachelorette parties and no curtains to absorb sound. Entrees are crazy expensive and quality was low.

This was our second dinner visit, and like the first was very good. The menu remains a little spicy/eclectic for us, but we certainly enjoyed it. They also helped us pick an excellent, reasonably-priced bottle of wine, and they make a killer old fashioned.

Love coming here. The dishes are always so good (sujuk pizza, tuna, trumpet mushrooms w/cauliflower, shrimp, chicken quinoa meatballs). All so tasty. The drinks are awesome as well, love the Rose combier drink). Dessert is delicious what a great pairing of biscotti, chocolate and mint ice cream.
Service was pleasant.
Room is loud to have a conversation, it got better later on in the evening when people left. The music is loud & energetic.

Great food, stunning decor, pleasant ambience, very bad service: hostess upon entry was cold and not welcoming, hostess who seated us was cold and rude and looked like she was doing us a favor, waitress was completely buried and left us at table for 25 mins before taking drink order, drinks took another 30 mins and arrived after our food did. She didn’t apologize or explain anything.

Usually Yvonne’s is one of my favorites but tonight the food was nearly inedible. Every single dish was so salty it hurt your mouth and made you cough. We sent the garlic fried shrimp back because it didn’t taste fresh. The waitress took it off the bill and gave us discounted drinks but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ve back again after such a bad meal :(. Sad about it!

I completely loveddddddd this restaurant. It was my first time going and I wasn’t expecting it to look the way it did, from the entrance, to the lounge, bar and dining area. I fell in love with the ambiance. My waitresses was very attentive and friendly. The food was deliciously fresh, tasteful and healthy. Cannot wait to go back

The ambiance is just so great stemming from Locke Ober. The food was delicious and the drink and wine offerings are great. For some more critical comments, we were a party of four, however two and two were arriving from different places. The first two of us, showed up 5 minutes early but could not be seated until the "whole party arrived" - I understand why they may choose to do this, but I think it is bush league and uncomfortable to wait because of course the bars are packed and there is no good place to linger. Also, our server seemed to be a bit discombobulated and drinks were not served timely after ordering. I would come back however and give it another try as the food, drinks and atmosphere are great and the service may be better next time.

Service took awhile with food and drinks, standing area was leaking over to the dinning area leaving us with people bumping us and hitting us with their coats throughout our dinner. Food was okay steak dinner for two had a lot of fat and wasn’t cooked as requested. Cool vibe and location / art.

Excellent Valentine's evening at Yvonne's with my significant other! We had our very first date at Yvonne's 2 years ago, on Valentine's Day. To continue the tradition, we celebrated Valentine's there again this year. Yvonne's was so accommodating - they found us an earlier reservation time, and they even brought over a free glass of champagne for us! The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the cocktails incredible (had the mescal one). Thank you for a great evening!

Yvonne's is a beautiful venue, housed in an 1832 building that was formerly occupied by Locke-Ober, a renowned Boston restaurant that first opened in 1862. Our party of four sat in the main restaurant, underneath the fabulous chandeliers and across from a bustling bar. There is also a library room with a gas fireplace that was having a private party, and a relaxed seating area for bar patrons.

Service was excellent throughout the dinner, and all four diners appreciated the small plates offerings, allowing us to try numerous dishes including:

* Crispy Duck Pita ($17)
* Pork Belly Pita ($16)
* Seared Trumpet Mushrooms ($15)
* Charred Lamb Ribs ($17)

The food arrived as it was hot and ready, and we enjoyed all of these dishes, each with a unique flavor profile. The lamb ribs might be a little spicy for some diners, though several of us thought these tasted great, and would have been happy to eat more. We also ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, but due to a mix-up, they never arrived. We'll look to try those on our next visit.

Though the dinners were excellent, the desserts left something to be desired. The Greek Doughnuts ($10) were not especially interesting and the Chocolate Twinkie ($7) was a disappointment. That said, we enjoyed dining here and look forward to our return.
