SO good! The sake selection was outstanding and the server had exceptional knowledge in the food and drink. She was very helpful with recommendations. We love sushi and sashimi but the menu had so many unique choices we ventured off and also had some mushroom dumplings that I could live on (this exclusively) for the rest of my life if I had to pick one thing! Amaze. The sashimi combo chef's choice was a great way to try a few things we hadn't before, and the Green Hornet maki was ridiculous good. Can't wait to go back!
Yuki Yama Sushi is fantastic!!
We made reservations for a Saturday at 7pm. Their service is unparalleled.
Drinks were never empty, and we had an appetizer by 7:15, first course by 7:35 and then a second course completely eaten by 7:55pm.
We loved every bit of the different rolls we ordered.
Our server, Nate, was very attentive without being overbearing at all. Super nice staff and really awesome food.
We will definitely be returning for more deliciousness at Yuki Yama!!!
Bruce Lee Roy, Spice Tuna, and Shrimp Maki rolls.
Great quality sashimi and nigiri and unique menu offerings.
Best sushi and service! One of our favorite places to eat in Park City.
This was our first time trying this restaurant. The food we had was very good and i would go back to try other options on the menu. One was called 84060 (?) or something similar and we really enjoyed it. The crispy tuna is excellent. The vibe was .... well on the real quiet side but End of October in Park City is not exactly a high energy time.
First time eating sushi in Park City for 2-years from bad experiences at other restaurants. The specials of the day were excellent and what you would expect from a Japanese sushi house. All the fish was top notch and cut correctly. The maki was available with soy paper or seaweed. and the service from Mary and Riley was five-star.
Had dinner here this past Saturday evening. We ordered the sashimi platter, uni and a couple of rolls. The fish was amazingly fresh and the portion size was fair.
The service was very friendly, prompt and efficient.
Looking forward to going back again.
Incredibly disappointing service from the “general manager”, Dustin. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday at Yuki Yama with a party of 9. When we arrived, we were put at two tables next to each other, rather than none table, which we didn’t complain about or make an issue.
At the end of dinner, the server brought our check which wasn’t separated, despite the fact that we had each made it a point to explain how we were breaking things up as we ordered. Having been a server in the past, we were more than understanding, and asked how we should approach it. She asked us to just break out how we wanted it separated, and she would break it out. Please keep in mind the receipt said they break up checks, but charge a 20% service fee to do so, which was fine with us.
After our group writing who belonged to what, we never saw our server again. Instead, Dustin, the extremely unprofessional “manager” came and essentially told us we were ridiculous for wanting our check split, and that he didn’t want to spend 30 min splitting it up. His attitude and the way he spoke to us was the problem. Rather than speaking to us like we were paying customers, he spoke down to us, and acted like we were a complete inconvenience to him.
It is important to point out that the majority of us had been servers, and were extremely polite and non-confrontational in this manner. The manager lost his cool, and told us we were welcome to not come back to the restaurant. When we asked to speak to somebody that could be more calm, he told us that he was the general manager and there was nobody higher. We asked for the owners contact info.
After asking for the owners info, he quickly changed his tone and offered to split the check. 40 minutes later he brought our checks back, and with more attitude handed us the “owners email”.
Horrible customer service from the manager, which ruined a birthday and the experience of 9 clients that night. 9 clients that won’t be back.
Love the sushi, spicy edamame and Tina tartar...one of my favorite places!!!!
Great meal! We enjoyed it with our 12 & 14 yr old sons. Great service and a delicious meal!
I’m no longer surprised to find great fish miles away from the nearest ocean. These folks are no different - clearly flying in premium quality fish to be served fresh. Had a variety of nigiri and rolls and all were excellent quality and taste. My wife is vegetarian and she had no shortage of options, too. The service was attentive, friendly and prompt.
Very nice dining experience.
The food was excellent and the service was spectacular. We are visiting from out of town and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Food was great had some different styles of sushi rolls that I haven’t tried before, the service was great I’ll surely be returning.
Excellent sushi and pork ramen. Been twice and was impressed both times. We will be back.
We really enjoyed out date night! Our service was outstanding by the support staff to our server. Our server was really nice but not organized, we were waiting for awhile to order as we watched him talking. Now to our food, The Executive sushi role was amazing! Very simple role yet so full of flavor, so yummy! We ordered 2 of them. The edamame was good, cooked well. Loved there hot green tea, especially since it was so cold outside. The last roll we ordered was the 84060, this roll had a potential except that it had a really strong fish taste even though it was a crab roll. Overall this is one of our favorite places to eat in PC!
So, so delicious. Amazing service, they made us feel special. Left feeling awesome. Spent some $ on this dinner but it was a special occasion for us and we didn’t regret a second of our evening.
Outstanding restaurant. Highly recommend. Every aspect done right.
It’s always great. The food and servers are both super relaible
Some of the dishes were very creative and the presentation was nice. The quality of the sushi was not solid, but not exceptional.
Excellent service, fabulous food, best meal we had in Park City.
The best Japanese restaurant in Salt Lake City / Park City area.
We were re-seated to the window seat when it opened because in our reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary, I thought that was a very nice touch. Our waitress was not very attentive and seemed annoyed when I asked for a second glass of water. We had finished our third roll and the table had been cleared when she told us it should be right out. The shishito goat cheese peppers were awesome- highlight of the meal. The Mr. Miagi was bland and disappointing. The Sho Nuff was overpowered by the sauce, not spicy at all, it just tasted sweet. The Spicy Scallop had the best flavor. We saw the great reviews and were excited to try it, but would not return.
Always the freshest, most innovative sushi in town!! Great service and drinks too!
Yuki Yama is a high-end sushi restaurant in Park city which lives up to expectations. Each dish was beautiful and fresh. The back room seating is interesting as the table is sunk in and you have to sit on very hard benches, but it has an authentic quality. Our waitperson was excellent. Definitely plan this venue for your next sushi experience.
Excellent food and service! Get the Bruce Lee Roy Maki!!
Best sushi in Park City! The Mr Miyagi roll was delicious. Wait staff very nice. We were seated upstairs but I prefer the ambience on the first floor. Always a wonderful time at Yuki Yama.
Love Yuki Yama. Great food, service and atmosphere.
This restaurant was so good that we ate there three times in one week. I figure if I find a fantastic restaurant why would I look for anything else. Absolutely fabulous sushi really fresh really clean. One of the best sushi restaurants ever.
My husband and I went to YukiYama for the first time. The service was friendly and efficient from the hosts to the waiter. We had seaweed salad, tempura, sashimi and two rolls. It was all delicious. The sashimi portions were relatively thick and generous slices. Just right! Our waiter had wonderful recommendations, including the sho-nuff roll, which it was! We also had a spider roll, which was a little bit small, but the crab was good. We would definitely go back. Wonderful overall experience. As with many Japanese restaurants, the wine list was almost nonexistent, but there was a whole page of saki offerings.
Excellent food, impeccable service.
Excellent sushi very high quality. Awesome cocktails. Highly recommend
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Highlights include the Wagyu Tataki, Amberjack Carpaccio, Uni nigiri, and the Executive roll. Highly recommend
Hip sushi spot. Food was good and fresh, but unspectacular. Was seated at a very busy high top in a high traffic spot.
The freshness of the fish was outstanding. The Mali rolls were incredible. I will definitely be returning.
We received a gift certificate for Yuki Yama and we feel like we’ve found a gem! We’ve lived in Park City for 15 years, have walked and driven by this restaurant many times but had never been inside. We will definitely be back! Awesome food, great sushi menu, really nice decor, looking forward to going back.
Sushi was very good. Tempura was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the pork ramen- noodles were fresh.
Sushi was good.
