Cute place but disappointed with the amount of lobster on the Lobster eggs Benedict. Was expecting a lot more than two bites of lobster for the high price. Especially since it’s a lobster restaurant. The concept is great and the place is happy and fun. It was recommended by a few friends who had a great experience. We will go back but really hope for a better portion of lobster on the Benedict next time.
Nice patio, food was pretty good - seemed like a limited menu, but we had a nice meal, great drinks and desserts.
Service was great and the seating outside was perfect.
One of our favorite spots! Yo Lobster helped make our 20th anniversary lunch very special.
Loved the Louisiana lobster roll!! Absolutely order a handful of things to taste everything they have to offer - we barely left any food on the plate.
This was our second time in and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The food is absolutely FANTASTIC
They don’t provide high chairs - clearly an effort to avoid serving kids.
Fantastic service, food and location. Will be back again.
This place is LOUD! Food is good, but not as much as how it should be for the price. They are STINGY with lobster in tiny roll. It was also very very cold with blowing air & it’s loud!
Great food and fun place!
Great food and service. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The outdoor patio ambiance was enjoyable.
Excellent Lobster rolls. Very happy atmosphere. Great location.
Walked in was greeted and sat with great service but our server was borderline awful! Which ruined things....I won’t go back!
Service was not great for the price. Our waitress couldn’t have been more disinterested in us.
Great food, beverages, and service.
We enjoyed the sunny patio....the lobster bisque was amazingly delicious...Brian was a great server!
Our toast on the cioppino and the bun on the lobster roll were drenched in butter. We couldn’t eat it. Also, the lobster in the lobster roll was very sparse in spite of it costing $28. Our kir royale spritzer tasted like cough syrup. Not the best experience. Staff was good but product needs help.
We sat in the very small bar and enjoyed the bartender, Pedro, so much that we dined at the bar. Food, beverage and service was fantastic. Great teamwork and camaraderie with the entire staff. First visit, we will definitely be back
Food was terrible and pricey.
Terrible service. I think the kitchen , etc are the issue. Not sure if they actually have a bartender. Took over 30 minutes to get a drink. Never got our appetizer. Never have had great service there. Love the other restaurants from same group.
Excellent food. Our server was excellent and spaced the appetizers and entrees out perfectly. We’ve never had a bad experience at Yo Lobster.
Sat outside.. chilly , but we were accommodated by staff using heating lamps. Food always fresh, Lana shrimp a must . Takes a while to get drinks as they only have one bartender. Kelly the manager is always pleasant and accommodating.
The lobster rolls were good but very small. The service was good.
Always a wonderful time! Food is fantastic and the different lobster rolls keep us coming back to try the next one.
Dressed Tuna & Avocado - AMAZING
Maine Lobster Roll - AMAZING
Texas Lobster Roll - GREAT
Fish & Chips - too much batter
Over-priced and very average.
The expensive Boss Salad was not good.
2nd time dining here....1st time I have the chopped seafood salad which was wonderful but is pricey. This time I went during Happy Hour (half priced tacos, burgers, and some drinks). BBQ shrimp tacos were great and came with a side of fries that were good. My daughter had the cheese burger which was very good (they should have a good recipe considering Off Site Kitchen) and the vodka high ball was refreshing. Great value during Happy Hour and the patio seating was nice.
Service has been a little off both times but not enough to keep me from coming back
Servers were outstanding and food was good! Bluepoint oysters, blackened fish tacos and lobster roll did not disappoint. I had a reservation at 5 PM on a Saturday and seated next to a table of three dads and seven young children outside. I politely asked for an alternate table and the manager/hostess said No. There were plenty of open tables. An hour later we left without finishing our drinks as kids played football, swung on the ropes and spilled their drinks on my purse. I walked in and told the hostess/manager to look out the window at the kids. She did not even say sorry. I get that you can’t control others and kids are kids, but that hostess was awful!!
I read some of the servers were disinterested but ours was great, he knew the kitchen was backed up so he was able to give us a heads up on putting our order in. Cocktails were fine. I had a lobster roll, flavor was good but dry and I consider it overpriced.
Over priced for what they actually serve you in terms of food. I wouldn’t go back
Average dining. Nothing special.
All I can say is YUM. Best lobster rolls in Dallas by a wide margin. Try the “Connecticut”.
Had the cold Maine lobster roll. Way way way too much mayonnaise. Nothing else, that’s all you could taste. Lobster rolls should have three things: a dab of mayo, lobster and diced celery. Maybe a sprinkle of paprika or chives. Beautiful lobster lost in way too much mayo. Very tasty french fries
The saving grace for this place is the stellar manager.
Our waiter John - Michael was mia for most of the meal, blamed issues with the drinks on the bar, we had to ask multiple times for refills, etc.
The lobster rolls and the fries were delicious but the clams in the primo were inedible and the crab claws were horribly fishy. The broth was missing something. The shrimp in the cocktail were not deveined.
The atmosphere was very nice and airy. Martha’s Vineyard vibe . Service was attentive. We had a dozen PEI oysters to start. Mignonette was very fresh and paired well. I had the Maine lobster roll. Nice size and tasty, a bit too much Mayo for me, but that’s just a preference. Spouse had the mahi mahi special OTD. Very good. Also enjoyed the frozen cape cod.
We will return to try more! Nice patio under the live oaks to enjoy the HPV architecture and people watch!
We had a reservation at 19:30 and we had to wait around 20-25 standing, the receptionist were rude and they did it want to do anything about it, the only thing they were saying to us was that they could do anything because the other customers were having drinks.
Food was disappointing for the price
Lobster roll in lettuce wrap a great option, suggested by our server when we mentioned we were avoiding bread. French fries delicious. Tuna appetizer was ok but didn’t love the sauce.....great voodoo sauce on LA lobster roll. We will be back 😊
The chopped salad was not a chopped salad and the. Ran was minimal and very fishy tasting. The bisque was cold and we had two orders that were placed at separate times so it wasn’t a one time accident. Our entrees did not come out together and were very spaced apart. One order for fish tacos came as shrimp tacos. Very disappointing overall.
LOVE THIS SPOT
