Quality of food is great, the burgers come a bit small.. We booked a table on a Saturday evening but unfortunately most of the drinks were sold out or only available warm as well as a couple of burgers were sold out. Drinks menu was therefor very limited. Overall the food was very nice though. The menu is very small, which is normally a good sign but it was a shame so much was sold out and the drinks menu was particularly small..
Really great location, easy to find from London Bridge train station. Service was quite good, although the restaurant was quite cold (sitting downstairs) and they did forgot something ordered but was put right quickly when mentioned. The food came quickly and was nice but not very filling but good for a light meal. They also had happy hour so cocktails were 2 for 1.
The food was very good and so were the cocktails. The only real downside is that none of the staff smile! When I asked if we could be sat downstairs the lady almost signed. The gentleman serving us did not smile. It was very strange. Very casual place that looks quite cool. It was quiet when we arrived but was fairly noisy by the time we left. I would recommend the place if you like a good atmosphere and tasty food.
Nothing to rave about. Food was mediocre, service as shambles and the place smelled of toilet water
The food was good and we all enjoyed the burgers and sides. On top the burgers we shared the halloumi, edamame and fries between three. A nice (local) cider would be a good addition to the menu as Kopparberg isn't the best!
The service in general was good but a little slow once we had finished eating but as we were chatting this wasn't a big problem for us. The service charge is added to your bill and it also states what the total is once split between you so you don't have to get your calculator out to work it out.
In terms of ambience it was okay. The music was very loud and there was a strange smell that kept wafting around.
The chicken burger is top notch and halloumi fries with mango dip...mmm. Others have told me the mushroom and beef burgers are fab too. This is the second favourite place of mine to bring people to. Great food!
Went for a business meeting. Really fun environment would recommend for a get together between friends.
V good, v tasty
I had the Yen Burger with sweet potato fried. It was a thick and juicy burger that hit the spot. Veey veey good. Service was good. We had a new waitress serve us and she forgot my order, but these things happen. She still had a smile on her face and did everything else right.
Second time I’ve eaten here the Yen Burger Supreme with wags beef is superb, cocktails good too. I like the atmosphere downstairs. Seats are not very comfy though; but otherwise brilliant.
It was a fantastic experience. Speedy service, a comfortable environment, delicious, high quality food.

Food and drinks are good. We were the only people in there and still i had to keep getting up to ask to be served.
Absolutely no sense!
Excellent service and delish food. Gyoza were great, burger and fries super tasty
We enjoyed the flavours our meal very much. The service was fine. However it is noticeably about 10-15% more than a comparable quality burger restaurant. Would come back for the unique menu. Enjoyable experience.
Great food but portions pretty small
Staff are excellent. Up there with the best burgers in London. Dashi chips are amazing.
Lovely food and flavours for a good price! Not sure comfortable though so better for friends rather than family
Great food
Service good but a bit slow
Family catch up before concert at Southwark Cathedral - quick service, nice cocktails, generous chip portions - surf and Turk burger is recommended.
Firstly, the food is very good. Unfortunately, the abysmal service ruins any opportunity to enjoy the food. We made our reservation on Open Table, which apparently matters nothing to the operators since they didn’t ask about it. We ordered our food from a very interesting menu, including a burger made of Wagu beef which was delicious. But before I could enjoy it, our waitress spilled my wife’s drink in my lap, soaking my pants, underwear, and socks. Now the poor waitress was aghast, and apologized profusely, but as I sat within feet of the front door soaked to the core, no managerial type ever appeared. Our food arrived fairly promptly, but my ten year old son had to wait until we were waiting for the check before the milkshake he had ordered arrived. For all our trouble, the establishment credited us nothing, and when I protested to the server gleefully taking my AmEx, we were credited the Prosecco spilt in my lap. Truly bad form and poor management. Maybe better as a take out or delivery. Not yet ready to be a real restaurant.
Fast service and good food. Good portion too. Only downside was a little too loud.
Everything was very nice, only downside is I ordered the tofu burger and there was hardly any tofu in there.
Yen Burger was a nice, quick pre-theatre dinner. Food was ok, we thought the sides were better than the burgers which were a tad overcooked. Not sure I'd rush back but also wouldn't actively avoid it, just would rather go GBK or similar.
Great burgers, superb fries. Good value for the location. Very loud!!!
We had a wonderful time at Yen Burger. The food was incredible- we had the wagyu beef burgers and chicken wings. The chips are particularly good and cocktails are fab. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and I’ll be returning soon!
Visited with a friend and loved it. Great atmosphere and super cute dining area downstairs with a great cocktail bar. Amazing friendly service from the minute we walked in. Delicious interesting cocktails both alcoholic and non. Food was great and way more interesting than a standard burger joint. Great for casual dining or for an intimate date. Will visit again.
Food was too salty, when the waiter asked how the food was, this was fed back. The waiter didn't really give a response (clearly wasn't expecting any actual feedback from us). Noise levels were far too loud.
Loved the vibe of the restaurant, the food was amazing, the decor was unbelievable, the service was incredible, all round a great experience 😊
Delicious food, cool restaurant. Would definitely go there again
Absolutely fantastic experience here for my husband’s birthday. The staff were so friendly and charming. Made a proper fuss of him and got the whole restaurant singing happy birthday :) More importantly the burgers were delicious, fries great, halloumi very tasty and even with several bottles of prosecco it came to £30 a head. 100% recommend and will be returning. Thanks for a great night!
