Mariachis Magnifico were great. My Mexican mom enjoyed the ambiance, service & food.
Truly amazing. Service, food, atmosphere, especially the drinks!
Very cute restaurant… Very friendly staff. The food was also very good.
Drinks were good, food was terrible, band was extremely loud - could not talk nor hear one another.
First time ever at yellow Rosa, and for sure first of many! Little hidden place, but as soon as you walk in you feel like your in a little Mexican villa. The decor is super cute, small place but very comforting. The drink pinky promise was my choice of the brunch, and I loved it (I would totally ask for a pitcher of it if I had choice lol), the food also delicious (chicken & waffles, and the steak with chimichurri & potatoes, omg so yummy!) And I just love how there’s not a lot of options on the menu, makes it easier to decide and everything is just on point, congrats to the chef! The mariachi band playing there was amazing, such a great interaction with the tables and everyone. Was a great experience! Will be back soon! Gracias yellow Rosa team!
The menu was a bit limited. Portions are small. The drinks were good.
The drinks were really good. Queso was not good. Tacos were good but over priced. Atmosphere was great.
Cute beautiful place! A must!
Everything was great!
Really loved the place and everything about it well almost. When we arrived they told us our reservation was for an hour and 45 minutes which our reservation never said that but oh well, who spends more than 2 hours?? Well after having live music and good food and great drinks and oh spending hundreds of dollars, not an exaggeration, the hostess tell us okay you have 15 minutes any last drinks? We were in shock as if they were kicking us out and we left right away after she said that. It's not like we were just sitting there we kept ordering and ordering to each their own. Like I said great place and will maybe go back but please don't spend more than an hour and 45 minutes or else......
Our waiter CJ was great!! Offered his suggestions and favorites :)
I love Yellow Rosa! It’s the perfect start to the weekend and I always go with my girls! The staff is AMAZING & so is the food and drinks!
My husband and I went for brunch after service on Sunday and it was delicious. They had mariachi there and it was fun to enjoy the delicious food and have live music. We enjoyed it.
Amazing staff and tasty food. Found my new brunch spot.
The food was good but not great. The seating was odd and a little uncomfortable. The atmosphere was definitely the best part. Definitely a beautiful place to eat.
Brunch food was horrible but drinks were delicious!
The whole dinning experience was great except for the food. The food was good but was not worth the money including parking. I paid about $30 per person plus $10 to park nearby. I think it would have been worth it if I had spent $22 per person at most.
Yellow rose was amazing! The atmosphere and love music were great!
WOULD GO BACK INFINITY MORE TIMES. LOVED THE FOOD DRINKS AND THE ATMOSPHERE. SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC . I DO STRONGLY RECOMMMEND YELLOW ROSA TO EVERYONE. HAVE TO GO BACK FOR BRUNCH SOON TRY THE BREAKFAST MENU. I HAD THE TCHEESE DIP AS AN APP FOR BOTH SHE HAD AGUACHILE AND I HAD THE TACOS THEY WERE AWESOME. BLUEBERRY MOJITO WAS HER CHOICE OF DRINK MINE WAS A WHITE PALOMA AND THEY BOTH HAD A KICK. JUST WISH THEY HAD SOMETHING SWEET AFTER THE FOOD. PARKING COULD ALSO BE A BIT BETTER BUT IT IS DEEP ELLUM. BUT INALL I GIVE IT 5 STARS.
The ambiance can’t be beat!! My watermelon frozen was so yummy & only $5!
I expected more visiting. The service was alright not the best. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends if they wanted to celebrate there. Maybe having more options on the menu would help? I wasn’t really satisfied but it such a cute spot! I would only recommend it just for the pictures not for the food or drinks.
While very small restaurant the setting/atmosphere is nice, food is decent but drinks definitely overpriced. We reserved to hear the mariachi band which site stated they will play until 4 PM but they end up leaving around 3:30 PM, a bit disappointed over all including service and don’t believe I will return
Lovely Sunday brunch spot! Great food at an affordable price point. Beautiful ambiance and an awesome mariachi.
First time experience ~ the ambiance was great everything else was not. Food menu ~ very limited
Music~ on point!
I rate this place a 3.5
The experience was good however it is SO DIFFICULT to find this place. There is no sign at all to lead you to it. I would highly recommend them to put some kind of label outdoors to help customers
The two person booth was perfect. Looking forward to sitting in the same place when we return for dinner.
Noise level became a bit loud when live music started.
The drinks were EXCELLENT, I loved the chips they brought out at the beginning but they did not give us any Valentina sauce as advertised on the menu. :( The food was pretty good, just basic street tacos but the price point was nice! The guacamole was great too. The ambiance was very cool, but the venue is very small so it gets loud pretty quick.
Not your typical restaurant. Totally recommended. Cute little place. Super nice and friedly staff. Reasonable prices.
Maybe it was they were too busy but the food wasn’t any good
This place is a hidden gem. The drinks are delicious, the management is great and the ambiance is amazing.
We went for Mother's Day just a few days ago and it was unfortunately pretty disappointing. For starters, it was uncomfortably full to capacity. Many people were standing in already tight quarters waiting for a seat. The waitress forgot to bring us the complimentary chips and salsa (this was brought to us with our meal after we asked and they were stake :( ). It isn't very authentic. The brunch menu (the only thing you could order) was only about 6 or 7 items (one of them being chicken and waffles. The food was 6/10. The dish my father in law ordered came with 2 tortillas and that was it?! The portions are on the smaller size. What was most disappointing was that the mariachi band charged $20 a song?! This is new. The first time we went to Yellow Rosa they were so lively and would take one or two requests from each group and walk around creating an amazing atmosphere. There was not a per song fee but there was multiple ways to tip which we used. This time we were not only celebrating Mother's Day but also my mother in laws birthday. So, when the mariachi asked if we wanted a song we happily asked if they could sing happy birthday to her in Spanish. And they did. Then she asked for another song that she loves and they played it. When they were walking away one of the band members said, "That'll be $40 dollars." It felt kinda tacky. It left a bad taste in our mouths. So, make sure you know that before you request a song because the band isn't getting paid by the restaurant anymore so you will be paying for that. It completely changed the energy in the small restaurant and was the last straw for us. The aesthetic in there is great. It is beautiful but the food is mediocre, the space is too small, and the mariachi band messed up by deciding to charge this time around.
We got there at 9:00 pm and they gave us our table at 9:45 and the kitchen closes at 10:00
Don’t get the aguachiles. Manager is unprofessional and doesn’t listen to customers. Reservation was at 5 -7 once we brought up the issue with the aguachiles she mentioned someone had made reservations to our specific table and needed to be out in 20 when it was 6pm. Drinks are good but only had one in the little time manager allowed us.
I was really looking forward in dining here! I came in with my fiancé on May 5th around 7-8 pm, our waitress was very rude and I ended getting the wrong drink :(. I had I initially order the (amor prohibido) @the bar due to arriving early, a guava drink with rum. When seated our waiters took our order, I wanted another one since the 1st one was really good! The waitress stated that the bartender should NOT had made me that drink since it was only for the “Selena” week!! Okay, sorry!! But that’s what I wanted to drink, she followed with “I’m not going to order it because I don’t want them to scream at me! Who would scream at you? I questioned. “Manager and staff” according to her. I told her it was fine I would go up to the bar an order another one myself. Eventually she brought my drink, I had requested rum BUT it was made with tequila. Her being so unprofessional just killed my vibe for the night and just left me with a bad experience of the place and not wanting to go back. I tried calling the following day to speak with someone, but unfortunately no one picked up.
Tacos were not great. Especially in a city like Dallas where there are one too many taco restaurants to compare it too. Al pastor and carne asada were bland and didn’t taste like anything. Also meat was not the best quality and overdone. The shrimp taco was yummy and so was the queso. Wouldn’t go back for the food but the place - decor and ambiance are super cute and very tulum-esq. Would only go back for drinks.
Yellow Rosa continues to be amazing. They opened special for Cinco De Mayo, food specials, drinks specials, mariachi band all evening. This place has so much positive energy.
Place is awesome. Best tacos in town.
Legitimately one of the coolest places I've ever been to. LOVE the location and the feeling of secrecy on the outside. The food was amazing and served with crazy speed.
First time there. The environment was very nice loved all the signs and flowers. Food was really good. Drinks were very good too.
Love this place!
