It was a great experience!
The food was very good and the ambiance with the mariachi too.
We will definitely come back!
It was a very good experience food wasn’t amazing but I’d go again
I went here because of the IG and Tik Tok hype and it think it was worth it. The interior is beautiful and unique. There is a quirky neon sign - a must-have. Unfortunately, the dining room was very dark at 8pm. I didn't realize how much of the lighting in the restaurant is relying on the giant skylight until I was there for dinner in the dark. I was hoping to take pictures in the restaurant... but it was too dark to get any without the flash. Despite not getting good photos, the experience was enough.
My fiance and I enjoyed a semi-private booth under the awning. We had the Coupe De Ville and the Tropical Winter cocktails. I liked the creamy Tropical Winter more than the gin-based Coupe. Both were good, it's just a matter of preference. The beans were yummy and hot (good for the cold day). The guac was ok - needed salt. The empanadas and the pork belly were served hot too, and YUMMY. The pork belly was flavorful and rich. The waiter was kind and brought us salt and a candle to brighten up the table. I appreciated that a lot. The drinks and food came out in good time, not much wait. The prices are high, but not more than other similar restaurants.
Guests were dressed to the 9s. Several women were throwing birthday dinners and there was a private event in the other room. 9/10 for people watching and street style. During dinner, they blew fake snow into the dining room! It was all over the guests in the center of the room. I was pleased to enjoy the ambiance from the safety of a covered booth.
Yellow Rosa was a great place to celebrate my birthday and experience a pretty restaurant. It's not a place that I'd be a regular at, but it was all together a fun time!
Our waitress was amazing! Drinks were really good. The food was soo good! The only complaints I have are 1) The restaurant is a bit dark. Especially one corner they attempted to sit us in, way too dark. 2) The guacamole had no flavor. It needed much salt and pepper. It was almost sour. Oh, please build an outer door or fix the door closure. It stays open too long and it was freezing last night.
It was great food. We had no lights or candles in our area but they were able to get us a couple of candles. I’d go again.
Wow! This place was amazing !
I had heard about this place and was pretty excited about visiting. Made a reservation for a Friday at 7:45pm. The food was good. Was it spectacular? Definitely not. What made me not want to come back to the place was their "snow" machine going off every 15 minutes and covering my food and my date with this foamy mixture. Not sure what the "snow" is made out of but I did not appreciate it falling all over the food.
Very cute place, good tacos!
This is my happy place! Sunday brunch with the mariachis is my favorite! I can’t wait to go back!
Brunch was amazing!
We had a really fun time there. During the holidays, they make it snow every few minutes. Our drinks were AMAZING, our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and the street tacos were great! Such a fun place!
Food was great! Drinks amazing! Atmosphere even better!
The ambiance and the food were great ,the services was lacking, it was very slow and we had to ask for our drinks repeatedly
My girls LOVED the snow and the food was AMAZING!!!
Please use covered straws they are more safe and don't cost that much more. The food presentation was great but the flavor was lacking.
Good holiday decor. After no waitress for 30 min at the table we left. Horrible service
Pretty disappointing. Very expensive. Wish I had my money back.
The food, cocktails, service, and environment crested a superb dining experience. I have nothing but good things to say! ::chef’s kiss::
Everything about this place was amazing! I 10/10 recommend this spot for a cute brunch spot
I love the place the pozole verde was so delicious . The staff service was very friendly I love the mariachi at the brunch time definitely will come back again
Great love it
All the servers/hostess/bartenders were super nice. It was our first time there. The menu and drinks are pricey but definitely worth it and the experience. The winter/Christmas theme with “snow” falling was an awesome experience.
Joel the owner is awesome! We had a reservation but nobody came over to us to take our orders for 30 minutes which we thought was odd since they weren’t crazy busy at the time and finally flagged down a waiter and it seemed like maybe there was just miscommunication about who was taking care of which tables possibly. Later on the manager came out to ask how everything was and we mentioned the wait and he made it right immediately. The food was amazing, drinks were good, and based on the way he handled an inconvenient situation- we will definitely be going back!!
Food was bland and lacked flavor/seasoning. They are generous with the meat on the tacos but since theirs no flavor, it doesn’t matter. My corn in a cup was more like corn soup. I’m sure it came straight out of a can and they didn’t drain the water out.
The drinks were hit or miss. For what they charge, the food/drink here is not worth it.
The service was fast and the staff was nice. The environment is very cute. However, the “snow” was incredible overhyped and tacky. It lasts 10 seconds and only happens is about a 3 ft diameter area. The “snow” is not light and flaky, it’s more like a thick foam material that splats down. It was the reason I came. I took my phone out to take a pic and by the time I opened the camera app, the snow was over.
Oh one lash thing. I bought a $16 drink. They said if you buy this cute mug with it, it’s $30. I said sure bc it’s cute. I looked on the bottoms and noticed it was Targets brand. I looked on Targets website and it’s $5. Not coming back.
We did arrive about 10 minutes late to our reservation. When we arrived we sat right away however we waited for a server at our table for over 20 minutes just for water. Once the server came we put in an order of appetizer and one round of drinks and the server do not come back to our table for another 30 minutes. Our food came out right away along with our second round of drinks. When we asked for the check it did take a while for them to bring the check. It was clear to see that they were short staffed.
Came early and was told they were not open for service yet which was completely fine. However, when other parties arrived shortly after me that also arrived before opening, they were seated ahead of me. Also, when they say you have an hour and 45 minutes for a reservation, they mean that and will remind you when time is up. The restaurant ambience was amazing and the drinks were delicious, but the service definitely hindered the experience.
BEST ELOTE corn I've ever had!! I order it at every restaurant I go to if it's on the menu and this place has the best! Cocktails were so yummy and adorably cute. The space was small, intimate and charming. Will be back!
I actually made reservations because i thought it would be fun for my kids with the snow but it was such a HUGE disappointment. 5 seconds of it every 1 hour if that. I was under the impression that this was ongoing at the restaurant. I had to keep asking the staff. I also tried many to times to call and speak to a person to ask questions and of course no answer.
My friends and I had a great time celebrating a milestone birthday at Yellow Rosa! The mango margarita and the bistek y huevos were delicious!! Bottle service came with energetic ladies with sparklers and the mariachi band and soloist were a huge hit!! We will definitely be back!!!
The table was not cleaned before we sat down. We asked to have the table cleaned and they just gave us two napkins. Service was the absolute worst. Will never go back.
My wife and I made a reservation when we saw their marketing campaign in which they "made it snow" in the restraunt. When we got their we were disappointed to see that it there was no snow and only about half their Christmas lights were on. I understand that sound a bit pretensious, but when you make your reservation 2 weeks in advance and then drive 45 minutes to get there, these things matter. We decide to stick it out at first and order 2 apps (Civece and queso) and a drink each (let's take an elfie). The queso was not great, honestly it was missing general zestynezs and tasted like what a northern white person would make after bring to told that queso Is basically melted cheese. The civece was ok but really was kindof not what you would expect... the general vibe was off. The drink we got, was unorganized in its creation. It was like hibiscus Voda with lemon and whipped cream. Reminded me of what I would make as a teen and didn't quite understand how to pair flavors with alcoholic beverages. So with all this, we dipped out within 30 minutes of sitting down. I will say I can live with a bad experience at a reastraunt, honestly the insult to injury was when they auto charged us 30 ea for the mugs our drinks came in. My wife and I looked at the mugs and they're threshold (walmart/target brand). Like I don't want these l, why would you assume selling me this is an opt out transaction. Anyways...
In short, a mismarketed experience, eh food, eh drinks and too expensive for what we got.
We had a good time overall. We were cold as we went in December and roof was open. Enjoyed band and singer however too loud to be able to talk with family at our table.
We had an excellent dinner with family during the holiday snow pop experience. We mostly had street tacos they were great, drinks too. The ambiance was beautiful inside and so much fun with the fake snow. The music was perfect to dance all night, we’ve been looking for a place like this with dinner and dancing and they nailed it. Last but not least Dre our server was so nice and took good care of us. We were seated in the sancho room were it didn’t snow but Dre made sure we got the experience we came for. Definitely recommending this place and coming back.
Went to look at Christmas lights and then to dinner to enjoy the restaurant that snows! So fun and I have told several friends who are excited to try out. Food was good and service was even better, which is tough these day. Dre was great and made our experience even better!
Go here for drinks, not for food.
Everyone was so accommodating. Joel, the owner, came over to our table to ask how things went and spoke with us for a while. Outstanding guy! Was the first time at Yellow Rosa for part of the group and second time for others. We will all be back!
The staff and manager were extremely friendly and warming. Great energy with delicious drinks and food.
OMG! We loved it!! Our table was ready before our scheduled time and I got the text about it. Then they allowed us to wait for our friend who was running late. The food was great, we loved it! The mariachis were awesome, they played our request and accommodated us with the snow. We really enjoyed everything about it and will definitely return until the future!!!
Food wasn’t bad and the Merry Kiss-Me cocktail was good. Not convinced the food was worth the price.
Super weird set up and they sprayed snow foam soap stuff while you ate, that got all over the food, drinks and clothes. (Manager said it was biodegradable and good safe, but I’ll don’t want that in my food) Table was janky, looks like a kindergartner made it. First thing our hostess said was we’ll need to leave in 1 an hour and 45 mins. Chips and salsa is $5, and if you ask for the red sauce, instead of the green they’ll charge you. Would have like to seen the rest of the restaurant. I think they’re trying too hard to be a Insta gram type restaurant. Good was ok. Elotes tasted like canned corn, w zero flavor. Relied on the takis chips too much.
