The service was great and so is the food. I would definitely go back. I really do want to try the pizza next time.
YaYas! So glad to see them in Salina! Fabulous all around
The hostess attire was not appropriate for the establishment. I have nothing against tattoos. However, for the establishment one should not be met by a hostess with a large colorful tattoo on her chest for patrons to see.
When asked what type of seating we wished for. I specifically stated I wanted a table and did not want a booth. As I am a larger individual and booths can be uncomfortable I always ask for a table . They had a large selections of open tables with very few diners at the time, but placed us in a booth.
The waiter appeared to be nervous and unsure of himself, but very attentive. His service was fine. His attire was different than several of the other waiters as they wore white button up shirts with ties, and his was a black cotton pullover that collected specks of whatever it came in contact with. My spouse thoroughly enjoyed listening to one of the other nearby waiters as his descriptions of the menu items was well rehearsed and was mouth-watering eloquent.
The food was okay. They brought out bread with a small plate of a mixture that I cannot recall it's name, but it was very good. We had the Calamari appetizer which was good, and the Salmon and the Sea Scallops. Both were fine, but had a bit of a burnt taste to each of them. The Crème Brulee trio which was also very good.
Overall, I thought the establishment was good. I would recommend it for fine dining to my friends and family.
The service was excellent The whole staff from the hostesses to the bartender to the waiter was so knowledgeable and friendly. The food was wonderful as always.
Great meal, exceptional service! Our server went above and beyond. Another staff member saw I had a filet and stopped to ask how it was. It was excellent.
Had "Ladies Lunch" there....perfect setting some had the soup of the day.. YUMMY others Pizza, DELICIOUS and BIG serving..a couple had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin..
Nice thing was they adapted the item for individual person ..some couldn't have mushrooms, some no lettuce some no onion..
served was great...she was very attentive
Hostess WAS amazing..very cordial
I really enjoyed my first time here - the staff and the food were outstanding!!! Thank you so much, I will define back!!
We have been to other YaYa’s many times over many years. This was our best experience ever. Beautiful location and excellent service were only topped by the quality of the food. There was a minor glitch when our table of 5
were first seated, in that a waiter was apparently not assigned to us. As soon as the hostess realized the mistake we were visited by her, the manager, and two members of the waitstaff. They went above and beyond in accommodating us. We will most certainly be back.
Very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere! Delicious food!
I ordered the trout-wished it had been a little crispier. Guess that's what I am use to. Overall a great place to take a first date.
A little pricy, but not too bad.
YaYa's was fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about their service and quality of food. It is a bit pricey, so make sure you take a look at the menu before going. You also may want to make reservations in advance to ensure you get a table.
First time trying this place out. A little fancy from what I'm used to around in this city but a very nice atmosphere. Food was good and had great flavor. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer and was seasoned very well but not crunchy enough for my liking. I had to ask hostess picking up plates off our table what the kind of dipping sauce that came with the bread was since waitress didn't mention it when dropping it off. I wasn't pleased with the seating at all! We had reservations for outside seating and they sat us right by what seemed to be the staff trash door. Through out our dinner staff kept coming in and out of that door hauling trash out and what seemed bags of dirty laundry. From where I was sitting you could see the full cans of trash and also smell them as they came in and out of that door. There were nats that started flying around our food and even landed in my friends appetizer at one point and she had to use her napkin to cover the food up to keep them off of it at one point.
YaYa’s was outstanding as usual !! Excellent Service always !!
Had friends in town so decided to try Ya Ya's. It didn't disappoint . The food and wine was great. We went back the next day for lunch.
We had a very nice waitress, very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent! Food was delicious and hot when served. We’ll be back!!
The food nor the price of the wine was worth the price.
Dusty, our waiter was great. It was so nice to get good service in this town for once. The food was cooked perfectly, but it was all just a little too extra for us. I didn’t like the dip for the bread and I didn’t like the basil pesto for the bruschetta. I think my tastes are too “plain” for this restaurant. Wine was good and dessert was great. We enjoyed the salmon, but didn’t like what it sat on. I’d come back for a salad or dessert ,but I’d be afraid to try anything else.
What a gem in the heart of Salina! Great food, service & ambiance! Don’t miss this unique restaurant!
First, the people at Ya Y'as - from the reception desk to servers are all so very nice. The food is really good. I had the cauliflower appetizer which was quite tasty, then the pan seared trout - delicious. My husband felt like a burger so he had that with a side caeser. Overall pleasant experience. We were able to dine comfortably and safely outside as well.
Steaks were not prepared as ordered. My wife ordered medium and hers was medium rare. I ordered medium rare and it was medium to medium well. We had different cuts or we would have just switched them out.
Ate here with my wife for our anniversary, and it was OUTSTANDING! Our waiter even insisted on buying one of our apps as an anniversary gift!
Awesome food. Awesome service. Recommended.
Food was more than outstanding, service was best in town and the entire ambience was fantastic. What a great addition to Salina!
Great food and amazing service!
Setting the Salina restaurant standards higher. Knew that there’d be the typical kinks to work out, being their first week of being open to the public. Love the options for outside seating; one is covered street side while the other is uncovered with gas fireplace in central hotel “courtyard”. Some food items need to be served at more appropriate temperatures & flies need to be addressed for outside seating. Welcome to town!
First time at the restaurant in Salina, and it was fantastic. They had precautions in place to keep us safe, and very attentive yet not overbearing staff. Wonderful service, food and wine! We will be back soon!
