Yampa Valley Kitchen is a beloved neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs serving BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER crafted with local, organic & carefully source ingredients.

Our full bar offers up fabulous coffee, lattes and a variety of craft cocktails & 0-proof options as-well.

Breakfast and Lunch all day from 7:30am-2:30pm
Open for Dinner Tuesdays-Saturdays from 4:00- close.
Happy Hour from 4:00-5:30 with Half Price Specialty Cocktails, 30% off wine by the glass & appetizer

We ask that if you are running late please give us a call at 970-875-3989 as we can only hold tables for 15 minutes.

    A culinary experience! We had the mushroom soup Beet salad and Short Ribs.. all were five star 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩We will definitely be back! Highly recommended

    Chef came out and picked fresh herbs for the dishes. The food was fresh and delicious with quality ingredients. We had the focaccia bread, Brussel sprouts, butternut squash, hush puppies and chicken tenders. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend.

    Great brunch. We enjoyed it so much. We went back the next day. The grilled cheese is to die for. The omelettes and Benedict were great also.

    An Unforgettable Anniversary at Yampa Valley Kitchen: A Culinary Celebration Our recent anniversary dinner at Yampa Valley Kitchen was nothing short of extraordinary, a culinary journey that perfectly encapsulated the joy and warmth of our special occasion. For our main courses, we chose two dishes that promised a blend of classic comfort and innovative flair, and Yampa Valley Kitchen delivered beyond our highest expectations. The Duck à l'Orange was a revelation. The skin, rendered to a perfect crisp, gave way to succulent, tender duck meat, each bite a symphony of textures. What truly elevated this dish was the sauce – a vibrant, tangy, yet subtly sweet orange reduction that brightened the rich duck without overpowering it. Equally impressive were the Beef Short Ribs. Slow-braised to melting perfection, the meat practically surrendered to the fork.

    This could be the best restaurant in Steamboat but unfortunately they are missing the mark. Poor attention to detail in the kitchen is one of my observations. Sending out a salad with random pieces of bad lettuce. A chicken sandwich with whole stems of cilantro (not just the leaves). I think they are trying to hard to be fancy. Unfortunately their prices and portions don’t match the precision and attention to detail they should. They should tone it down, larger portions, more relaxed menu items, lower cost OR keep it high end and execute flawlessly.

    We went to Yampa Valley Kitchen for an early dinner. We liked the inviting decor and ambiance. The menu is inviting. We had the salmon and the truffled burger. Both were presented very beautifully. We can't wait to back and explore more dishes.

    Great service and a great meal. Lots of yummy variety on the menu and really well prepared appetizing food at a great price! Worth it!
