   We love Yamas!! The food is tasty, fresh and clean. Their mussels are huge and amazing —the Yamas Salad is fresh and full of great ingredients like pomegranate seeds, avocado —all amazing. And the main reason we love Yamas is their fish is the freshest in Austin.

   Yamas was a great experience for myself and our party of 6 total! We did have a long night the day prior and a little too much to drink, so if you get seated outside we recommend brining sunglasses as there’s not exactly shade on the patio. (There was a tarp but it had holes in it? Reminded me of what military members use on deployments). We did have brunch there and they did have a DJ type set up going on that played some House music, it was a little distracting at times and the music didn’t really go with the aesthetic, but nun the less it was upbeat! Food 10/10, drinks 6/10 (if I’d go back I would skip the drink next time)

   This was probably the best Greek restaurant we’ve ever been to. And we’ve been to a lot in the Northeast. Give it a go, you won’t regret it at all.

   The sea bass carpaccio was fine. Not enough flavor, needed salt. The octopus was good, slightly overcooked and needed either salt or more acid. My wife had the stuffed peppers and liked them. I had the pork chop, which was good, but too salty. We had a bottle of bubbly, which was not chilled and we needed to wait until halfway through our meal to get it. They said it was because it wasn’t too popular, but I saw them grab three other bubbly off the shelf and shove in the fridge when ordered. We were charged $20 over the menu price on the bubbly. I brought this up and they subtracted the difference. The restaurant is very loud and lively, but overall feels like it’s trying to be fun and hip without making quality food.
