    Overall good experience. The food is excellent, the ambience and vibe are nice. Pricey and a little loud; tables are really close together, not much privacy and sometimes difficult to hear. Service was good until the end; we felt very rushed to leave when we had just received a second glass of wine. We paid, enjoyed the conversation and rest of our wine, but then the waiter came back with a bag for my to go order, without saying anything to us. I took that as my cue to leave.. We were there for less than 2 hours total. My compliments to the chef, some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a long time.

    The calamari....get the calamari. It is EPIC. Never had such fresh food brought out quickly with awesome service. The outside area is nice buy the Seats are not comfortable and the cushions look like they've been through the ringer. Glad we sat outside, the inside is an acoustical orchestration of voices out shouting everyone else.

    I love Yamas, I’ve been here about 21 times so far. Best Greek restaurant in austin!
