   I have been to Izakaya several times with my wife and have nothing but love and fond memories being here. I come back because I love vibe, the art, the atmosphere, the service and most importantly the food. I have experienced many beautiful, unique and exquisite plates of Japanese food. A phenomenal experience that has always left me wanting more.......except for my recent visit. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I have never been so let down by restaurant until I dined again in Izakaya this evening (03-MAY-25). While the vibe, the art, the atmosphere and the service all stayed the same the food has completely deteriorated. The japas menu looks the same with the same level of variety that I've become used to dining in Izakaya however every single dish served to me was an abomination of Japanese cuisine. Deep fried mass produced versions of the authentic Japanese dishes is what was served to me. Most of the dishes tried to pull the wool over my eyes by pretending they were something they were not. What was served to me could be replicated by anyone at home with an air fryer and microwave. I will never ever return to Izakaya again after being charged €200 for deep fried and reheated frozen Asian supermarket products. My heart is broken and I am forever lost as a result.

   I’ve always been a big fan of Isakaya…the food, decor and the attentive staff. On this occasion the food was tasty but unfortunately the service was a major let down.

   Izakaya is a fantastic place with a great atmosphere and top-notch service. The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. From the signature Hot stone wagyu to the amazing sushi and sashimi, every bite is full of flavor. The ambiance is sophisticated yet welcoming, making it perfect for a special night out. Highly recommended for anyone who loves exceptional Japanese cuisine and cocktails!

   Not my first time in this restaurant, and certainly not the last! This place impresses me with delicious, fresh flavours on every single visit. Cocktails are a must, especially the Geisha Negroni! When you’re there, try the ell & foie grass sushi, delicious!

   For such high quality food, the price is so reasonable ! The decor is so stunning and the staff are ridiculously helpful and knowledgeable about the food. Mugi was our service and she was incredible! We had a mix of sushi, fish and meat, and as a vegetarian, there was also TONES for me to choose from, which I was so grateful for! I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
