   Yakitori Hachibei was excellent! We got the omakase course with a few additional add-ons and were delighted with how everything tasted. Some food highlights were the Cream Cheese Tofu app and the Tsukune and Scallop skewers. We went on a Thursday evening and the ambiance was wonderful. One of our servers, Chaz, was incredibly helpful and attentive. Highly recommended and will be back!!

   Loved the happy hour omakase! The only thing I would recommend is more sauce for the first chicken yakitori. Other than that, everything was great!

   Sooo good! First time eating here and it was a nice experience! Loved everything we ordered and spent more than we planned but it was all worth it! Would def recommend and come back 10/10.

   Service is excellent even though the staff has completely changed over the years. The food is good and I still think it is one of the best Yakitori restaurants on Oahu (that you can get a table at).

   Definitely our favourite yakitori place to visit, and that in part is due to how close of a walk it is from home. We had the HH Omakase - definitely the best deal. No need to think about what to order, and the price is unbeatable. Everything was as tasty as usual tonight, I love that it’s true omakase as each visit it has changes to it. Only slight complaint is the wait time for drinks, and a little bit of an extra wait for the last two yakitori. They were kind enough to offer us an additional bowl of the complimentary cabbage which is dressed with a beautiful yuzu vinaigrette.

   We dined here during Happy Hour and left extremely happy! The service was excellent, the Happy Hour Omakase was delicious and such a great deal at $35 for 10 courses. Our favorites were the sukiyaki with egg, tsukune (ate it with the leftover egg), and beef tongue (not part of the omakase). Highly recommend and will be back again. Mahalo for making our celebration special for us Yakitori Hachibei!

    Good menu, lots to pick from. Servers are all very welcoming and interact well with the customers and food is very tasty! The restaurant has a nice vibe and a fun experience.
