Birthday. Food was delicious, dessert was even more delicious and we were not rushed to give up
Love YaYa’s and the food!!
Had a great meal everything was great, quick in and out
One of my favorite spots for lunch. The food was great as usual. Our waiter, Tom, was fantastic! Coming out of 2020 I have noticed most restaurants find it difficult to get up to full staff, so there is usually waiting in all areas. My lunch at Ya-Ya's was pre-2020. There was a slight wait at the door, but nothing bad. When we were seated the waiter showed up right away and was very upbeat and nice. He took our orders and the food was delivered in a very timely manner. A delightful experience all around!
It took 30 min to receive 1 cocktail, the second took even longer. The bar didn’t look that backed up during lunch. Very slow service until we mentioned it to the server and he was more attentive.
My husband and I wanted to celebrate his getting a new job. At the last minute we decided to go to Yaya’s. Neither of us had been in years. They worked us in right away and everything was so good! We had the crab cake as a appetizer, it was amazing! Then the babaganoush with the bread was mouthwatering and so good! I had the halibut and my husband had the tenderloin, which we both enjoyed. For dessert we had the pea an pie cheesecake, which is served warm, and was very tasty! We had asked our server for recommendations and she did not disappoint, we will be back soon!
We eat here often! The food is always great and the service outstanding! The PEI Mussels are the best this side of Canada!
All good!!! Mike waiter good
Server was really good and knowledgeable about various foods and wine. It was such a pleasure! Thanks James for a really enjoyable dinner
Won’t be going back because of horrible, slow, inaccurate service. Menu/food was good, but menu hasn’t changed in 2 years, so no point in returning. Used to be more current and farm-to-table.
Food was fabulous. Salmon, roasted chicken and shrimp risotto were all perfect. Theresa was an excellent server.
Ya Yas is a great place for dinner. The only downside is that the tables and booths are close together resulting in quite a background noise level. For handicapped folks this restaurant presents somewhat of a challenge. First, the handicap parking spots are minimal and on the sides of the building. For this reason there is a fair amount of walking to get to the front door. Also, on the north side of the building there is no ramp. It would make much more sense to relocate the parking to the front of the restaurant (where the entrance is located) to minimize walking distance.
Service was great. Food was good but I think I had high expectations and was thinking it was going to be a little better.
Always great. Upscale but not overly so if that makes sense. Service is great, food is too. Will be back.
Service was excellent !
Dinner options were great!
Entrees were excellent!
Overall we really enjoyed the experience. The food was outstanding. The service was pleasant but slow as they seemed understaffed due to Covid. The country music playing loudly was unappealing for a European style restaurant.
We have dined at this restaurant many times over the years and it is truly sad to witness a decline in food quality and service. Normally the calamari is stellar but no more, it has changed from flash fried to deep fried with much breading. Almost unrecognizable. We had a server that was on his second week. He did not know the wine list or seem knowledgeable at all. Predictably, our order was messed up. Adding to the disappointment was that we had brought an out of town guest.
St. Louis has a number of fine restaurants which are a better alternative.
No more Yia Yias for us.
Food was excellent, maybe not enough servers but ambience and ability to talk without shouting - excellent.
Ya Ya's used to offer a lovely dining experience. This is no longer the case. The management was very accommodating to our ridiculously poor experience by comping dinner. We only paid for our drinks and our appetizer.
Food was excellent and our waiter Carl, was beyond excellent!
Karl was great - was our waiter and took care of everything
We always enjoy our dining experience at Ya Yas Euro Bistro in Chesterfield! We came for a late lunch / early dinner and even though they stop serving from the lunch menu at 2pm, our server was able to let me order a favorite sandwich from it. It was empty inside when we arrived which was concerning, but started filling up around 5pm. I hope people will start dining out again soon and employees will return to the kitchen so they can serve at full capacity.
Menu variety excellent; service just the right level of attentiveness; food outstanding?
Fabulous menu and service. Great place for a special occasion or just a week night dinner out.
Another great experience at YaYa's. Food and wine were wonderful and the service was good even though they were packed on a Friday night. One of our favorites!
Bridget was awesome. We added one extra person a few hours before and she was so flexible. Great service and of course, great food.
Erin was the best waitress. Food was delicious.
Very very slow 2 consecutive days. I ordered the Cobb salad and it has changed significantly since pre COVID...very disappointed!
Great lunch menu and prices! Nice outside patio!
As always, the food was great and the service was superb! Best Calamari in Saint Louis. The shrimp and lobster ravioli was wonderful. The mussels are the best this side of Canada!
We’ve been there literally hundreds of times. Disappointing visit. Waiter forgot to order our chocolate soufflé. Ordinarily not a big deal but they rushed sending one out that was burnt, not edible. I’ve actually told him that he forgot to put it on our ticket. I should’ve taken it off but I know these guys are scrambling to make up for lost time this past year.
I had a reservation specifically for the patio. We arrived on time yet were told our table wasn't available. WE suggested waiting at the bar for a drink. We didn't get a table until almost 30 minutes AFTER our reservation. The server who brought our food, we asked for more water, never showed up with it. I doubt I'll be going back again to this place. It wasn't worth it!!!
Excellent service! Food was fantastic. Great variety on the menu
We came to eat on the patio, and we were seated at once. Our server came and took our order, and our drinks were delivered after a while. The patio grew more crowded, and we hadn't seen our server in more than 25 minutes! Finally, another server stopped by, and we asked for some more drinks. Apparently, she didn't tell our server, or I'm not sure what was wrong! After we had been there for an hour, or slightly longer, our food was brought out. My husband's salad was not right, and had to be remade. The rest of us needed to eat, because our food would get cold. Some 25-30 minutes later, they brought out my husband's salad. The salmon was burnt, but he still ate it. The server ended up comping his salad, but it was not a great experience! I know they can do better!
Our Wonderful server Kelly made our day complete. She recognized we were celebrating and did not usher us away. Thank you Kelly. The bread was extra delicious today! Thank you Chef. Lava birthday cake was over the top! Thank you Chef. Spring veggies in langoustine pasta were teeny and mushy. I am a regular.. just letting you know the review.
Good food great service
Pros - Cocktails were delightful, table service was above average, patio is spacious, and the scallop dish was cooked perfectly.
Cons - Took awhile to get seated despite having a reservation. Ordered the beef tenderloin rare, but it was cooked medium (still delicious though). They don’t know how to make cappuccino.
The service was exceptional. Food was great too.
Ordered Lasagna. Came out cold in center. Sent it back. It came out 15 minutes later no different. Ordered Lobster and shrimp ravioli. It was extremely fishy and not appealing to taste at all. Ordered grilled shrimp appetizer. Was not grilled was just slathered in butter sauce. It was good but not at all is described. Ordered the chocolate soufflé. It was not a soufflé. It was really just a hot gooey brownie. Extremely disappointed.
Our party of 5 was there to celebrate our daughters 24the bday, I will start off on a positive note-our server (I can't recall his name, maybe Mike)was great!
We started with cocktails & appetizers-Beef carpaccio appetizer, was perfect! Crab cake app was VERY fishy (I eat crab often and understand that sometimes that's how it is so no worries there)
For dinner 3 of our 5 dishes were awful!!! I ordered the beef tenderloin prepared medium-I could only eat about 1/3 of it as it was so tough and full of tendons.
My husband and daughter both ordered the flatiron steak, both of which were full of gristle. The scallops and kids cheese pizza were fine.
I am not one to complain & send food back-its just not in my nature, it was however Very disappointing and we won't be back!
