   An incredible and very inventive menu - Xier aren't afraid to be different and it absolutely works. This shows in the way they craft their non vegetarian and vegetarian tasting menus. They try to replicate many of the same flavours and the result is a brilliant menu

   This is the 5th time we have been here, 3rd time upstairs for the tasting menu. I can not speak highly enough of the chef, the staff, the food and the restaurant for making every visit a special occasion. The attentiveness of the staff and the attention to detail in the food is second to none. This restaurant will definitely have Michelin stars soon - without doubt. I wish the chef and team every success and hope they are able to remain open with the impeccable covid related changes in place.

   An amazing meal, service was outstanding and the food was some of the best I have ever eaten! We had the 10 course tasting menu.

   My girlfriend and I went to Xier to celebrate me finishing my job and it was absolutely excellent. Not cheap, obviously, but not expensive either - there are plenty of other tasting menus available at higher prices. Not Michelin starred but to be honest as per many professional reviews I think this is probably a matter of time, and I preferred to get in before the prices go up! Food was all delicious, different and interesting but not just outlandish for the sake of it. Tastes and textures all individual to each dish. Wine and Cocktail pairing was also great, the only very minor constructive criticism I would give is that it would be useful for the Somellier/Waiters to tell you which courses come with paired drinks and which don't - there was one occasion where a glass of wine was expected to cover 2 courses but I had drunk it during the first (partly because it was delicious, partly to keep pace with what I assumed would be a next drink coming up). Not a big deal because the second course was really more of a palate cleanser, but still would have been nice to know. Also asked for a wine recommendation to go with the Cheese course (which I expected not to come with a pairing given it was a supplement) and was provided with an absolutely delicious, well paired, and very good value Malbec. Last comment on food would be that personally I don't think the Truffle supplement is worth it - but each to their own. Cannot recommend this place more highly - absolutely spot on.

   6 course tasting menu with matching wine. All courses very good, and wines excellent. However, not the standard I'd expect for the very high price. We arrived at 8 for a 7.30 reservation. Therefore opted for 6 course menu instead of 10 (in view of UK gov requirements to close at 10 due to COVID). 6 courses rushed, no way would have got through 10 in extra half hour - not sure why on menu.

   The experience at this restaurant it's simply - FLAWLESS. Both the service and the food just keep exceeding our expectations every time :) Chef Carlo is an innovative genius, his food, flavours, aromas and textures teleport you to so many different places around the world in one meal! His passion is also reflected in his team, especially Pavol and Filippo, who will always go above and beyond to provide the ultimate experience!
