Great ambience and even better food! I will be thinking about the steamed chicken dumplings until I go back. Their playlist is unmatched, it is loud in there so if youre one of those people who ask to low the music it’s not for you lol sorry. And our server was awesome keeping up with all her tables!! Highly recommend to make a reservation

The food was excellent as always. I was disappointment because I made a reservation and specifically asked for the center round table. When I called to confirm my reservation Id left the message again to be seated in the specified table. My reservation was set for Monday at 5pm there was no rush, as a matter of fact no one was seated at the table while we were there. I do not know why we were seated elsewhere. It was a special dinner for out guests which is why we requested the round center table. This is the 2nd time this has happened, we were disappointed.

We made the reservation, drove downtown to find that the doors were locked, and the restaurant was actually closed! Nobody ever reached out to use to apologize.

The parking was $30.00 in garage next to you. Should consider valet for safety issues downtown. We arrived early with no hostess or greeting from any staff. Hostess came and gleefully said to wait for 10 minutes when the restaurant was half empty at 6:20pm. Our waiter was amazingly a different experience. Explained and guided us through the menu. The food was fantastic.

Unimpressed. Waited 40 minutes to get dumplings. Fried chicken appetizer was dry. Too loud!

Our server was friendly and accommodating; half of our party was running late. Drinks and food came out relatively quickly and everything was delicious. Would come again. :)

We ordered veggie friend rice (great!), honey pecan shrimp (excellent) and pot stickers you eat with a spoon (filling was just OK, lacked depth of flavor and dough was blah). Old fashion drink was very good. Waitress friendly and attentive. I would improve the pot stickers.

When I lived in Austin, I would make sure to go to Wu Chow once every couple of weeks. After moving away and not visiting for three years, I knew Wu Chow had to be on the list; and of course it did not disappoint. The chef actually went out of his way to make the Tangerine Peel Chicken which isn’t on the lunch menu. 10/10 highly recommend Wu Chow!

Our server Ireland was friendly and personable. It was a pleasure to have her take care Of our table. The food was fresh delicious and we left planning our next visit to have more. Overall a great experience and a lovely meal.

I wanted to impress my Chinese friend by taking them to one of top-rated Chinese restaurants in Austin. It didn't go well. Food was average to poor (Peking duck). Service was average (They totally forgot to bring our drinks). The restaurant is really nice looking. The ambience is also nice.

The food and service was wonderful! Every dish had a different flavor and was amazing! The restaurant good really invest in some shades. We were sitting in the sun the entire evening and it was really warm.

I will never pass up a chance to go to Wu Chow. This time was for Restaurant Week and the 3 course $20 pre-fix menu was delicious as-always with the food!

Service was not that great. Food was so oily. I’ve ate here before. Entire mouth was covered in oil with each bite. Everything had such a strong sichuan taste - try adding a stir fry that isn’t just dry sichuan tofu (other than fried rice, noodles, or mapo). Maybe something saucier and a different flavor profile.

The staff here is so nice and professional. My husband (who is allergic to mushrooms) and I are stumped, again. I guess one chef in ATX started using mushroom powder in all dim sum and it's spread to several restaurant groups. We have eaten dim sum all over the world, including China and have never seen this. That said, he could only eat three items on the menu, but we had a friend with us, so she and I tried a lot. The dim sum is okay, not great. The dumpling wrappers are too thick and a lot of it was too chewy, a bit too much fat in the sesame balls. The cocktails were delicious and again, the staff was amazing.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. We had a wonderful dinner with friends sharing some delicious dishes! The soup dumplings are amazing. Service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.
