Our Property located at 501 S. Main Street in Historic St. Charles, Missouri dates back to 1805 as the first
recorded deed on file which was one year after Lewis and Clark arrived in the area. The Property was
purchased for $1500 with a consideration of $500 worth of Animal Skins.

Our Existing Building was built around the turn of the Century. It housed many different businesses and
residencies throughout time. It was a Pharmacy, Meat Locker, Meat Processing Plant and Tavern. It was
known to Bootleg Whiskey during Prohibition.

After Prohibition, This establishment turned into a full-fledged Tavern Named, The Golden Buffet. It
remained as such until 1986 when it was renovated to become ‘Winery of the Little Hills’ Winery and
Bistro. In June of 1995, the Historic portion of the building was destroyed by fire. It was then renovated
and expanded to include a full service restaurant with Wine Making in the Cellar.

Our server was beyond fantastic! Very diligent and met the needs of the customer very efficiently! Mackenzie was our waitress and she mentioned it was her first table which made it even more incredible at how well she did! Thank you for a great experience!

You can't beat the outdoor patio for a picturesque place to eat. At night they light candles and have string lights overhead. Food was just ok. Steak was overcooked. Substituting fries for a salad cost $2 but the salads were huge. Worth a visit and great for a big group!

Their wine is good, and I am grateful to our server for his great hospitality. I went to the restaurant with 2 friends at 6:15 pm on Friday in February. I booked a table from Open Table, but there were only a few groups of consumers there. We ordered Sampler Platter as an appetizer, and a bottle of off dry wine, Traminette, made at Little Hill Winery. It is very light and a little sweet, but the flavor is very fresh and crisp like a green apple, muscat, or citrus. Surprisingly, one of us who usually doesn't drink alcohol told us that she loved it and drank it. I also loved it. After the appetizer, I ordered Lobster Ravioli, and my friends ordered pasta and grilled pork. We also ordered a wine flight (with Reserve, Sweet Abee Rose, and Alpenglow), fruit wine (Strawberry), dry red(Reserve). Alpenglow, seasonal, was interesting. Lobster Ravioli was great!! When we ordered the bottle, our server gave us some samples and explained about each of them. That helped us debate and choose good one for all of us. I appreciate to him. Finally, we didn't notice that the closing is 10:00 pm, so we ordered 2 pieces of cheesecake and a glass of wine around 9:45 pm, and we spent time until 10:13 pm. I appreciate our server again. The bill was totally about $150. Their service and food are definitely worth over it. I strongly recommend to visit there. DON'T FORGET that they give us rewards points, and you get 25% rewards by Check-In by Yelp!.

My Wife and I had an amazing night and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. This was our first time there and the food and wines were awesome. If you go try the Chocolate covered Strawberry wine!!! #Amazing#lifechanging

The service is great. We had 6:45pm reservations when we got there it was 6:15pm but they already had our table made and reserved. The waitress was polite and offered incite on the wine list. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience. My fiancee loved it and it was also her first time being there.
