    Sat at the bar. Bartenders were more interested in socializing with each other than taking care of us. Ate appetizers. Came in primarily for the calamari. Some of the best we get anywhere. Had 2 orders. First order was great. Second order took a long time and came out burnt. We generally really like this restaurant. Especially for relaxing at the bar. This time was a disappointment.

    I ordered a specific bottle of wine. Twice they brought the wrong bottle. I finally changed to a different bottle to try and make it easier on them. It was not an enjoyable experience. It was my first and last visit to the restaurant

    Food and cocktails disappointing. Worst martini I’ve ever had. Only had two choices for rosé. A member of our party wanted a Bailey’s after dinner and they were out of that too. I had put down it was a birthday celebration and even mouthed to the waitress to bring cake. Neither was acknowledged.

    This was our first time dining at Wine Dive + Kitchen - Lawrence, and we attended the Mother's Day Brunch. I made our reservation online for patio seating several days prior, but when we arrived this morning we were seated inside in a back room with no other guests. When I inquired with the hostess, she informed me that despite my online reservation for the patio, they would not be able to accommodate that due do having seated other guests outside and not having enough room for us. She tried to explain that they had made those changes yesterday, but didn't have an answer as to why guests with bookings were not informed that their reservations were being changed. The hostess, finally sensing my frustration, offered for the manager to come speak with us, which never happened. Despite this frustrating and disappointing experience, the food was rather delicious and our waiter Brett was wonderful. The issues we experienced were with the hostess/management.
