Windsor Steak & Seafood Restaurant & Bar
Cool Jazz and a relaxing atmosphere
$5 Happy Hour only at the bar
Food was very good and service was excellent. Lighting was very bright in our area, too bright for dinner. Restaurant has no place for coats - this must change. Overalll good but improvements needed in ambiance
The only comment I will make is that a side salad does not come with your meal and if you order a non-pasta dish for your primary meal, you do not get a side of pasta or other starch to go with it. I only mention this because some people like a side salad and a starch with their main meal. Other than that, the food and service is always good!
Had a reservation for 6:30 pm.. arrived at 6:30 and was told they wouldn't have have a table for 10 to 15 minutes... They proceeded to seat people who are on their waitlist who arrived without reservations.
No kids menu, food was very Bland. Door handle feel off in my husband's hand well going into the restaurants.
Our first time visiting the restaurant, and we were very pleased with everything, since we first walked through the doors, until we left. Great place, and great food.
Super disappointed as we opened the door to the restaurant to see a line of people waiting. We showed up on time to our 7:45pm reservation to be told their system was down and we should consider going somewhere else. On Valentines Day, I get they are busy bu to not honor our reservations and suggest we leave, unheard of. Stinks because we live one street away and this was our first time going here but we will not return.
Even though we had reservations we waited 20 minutes to be seated. We also waited over 30 minutes after being seated to order our meal.
Extremely long wait times for order. However the meal was great!!
I would only because I've been there before and had a better experience. It was Valentine's day and they were really busy. Food took a long time. By the time it arrived it was cold. Server never came back to ask how the food was and never refilled water glasses. We had to ask another server for water. I went there when it was San Marino and not sure if management is the same so that could be the issue or just that they don't know how to handle being very busy.
Melissa provided great service. The quality of the food was great!
Enjoyed it. Appreciated that they were able to adapt their menu for something our middle child would eat. Will definitely go back.
This place recently changed the name to Windsor Steak and Seafood, which would be fine but they also changed their street sign and website to a very gaudy unsophisticated design. If I hadn't already dined here and was looking for a new place to eat I certainly wouldnt choose this place based on its marketing presentation. With that said, the restaurant itself is very nice, has a moderately elegant feel, and the food is very good. I brought some out of state work colleagues there and they did say the food was very good. We all emptied our plates. If restaurant management reads this review I beg you to get rid of the ugly red website that makes your venue look like a pizza joint. And put a better looking street sign to attract drivers passing by.
Dinner with friends was delightful. Our server was professional and attentive and our meals were great. My mahi mahi was perfectly prepared!
My first time at this local restaurant and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
New Years dinner with the family! First time eating at San Marino. Will be back...great food for a great value!
The food was outstanding; the veal Oscar was marvelous, and another diner raved about the quality of his New York strip steak. Our server was exceptional, friendly, efficient and checked our table and her others frequently to make sure all was to our liking. It’s wonderful to have a restaurant of this quality so near to my home. I have already made reservations to dine there again with friends next week. I think they will be impressed.
My family took me to San Marino to celebrate my birthday. Food and service were excellent. The menu is extensive and prices are reasonable.
Great food, great service and a great evening.
Was okay. Got the steak, asked for medium and got well done, but smothered in sooooo much sauce that I think they didn't think I'd notice. Companions got the Rack of Lamb which looked well cooked, and other got the sea bass which was a small portion but said it was great.
Good meal, and we are likely to return; but there’s some work to do here. Very friendly staff and server—we were seated right away. Ordered two glasses for house Cabernet that took almost 20 minutes to get to us. Certainly someone could pour wine orders for a busy bar? Long wait for a drink and moderately high prices made it glaringly obvious there was no bread/olives/etc offered. Enjoyed the brown sauce on the breaded mozzarella, garden salad was fine but not much for $6. Sea bass was good and accompanied by mashed potatoes and tasty vegetables. Veal was tasty but portion rather small. Desserts were quite good—we usually pass but saw several come out and decided to try a salted caramel apple tart and tiramisu—both fresh. Had our drinks come out faster and a salad been included we would have been more likely to order a second glass of wine. Complimentary house made sambuca was a lovely touch. Overall, worth a try.
Nice atmosphere, good selections on menu, good service , outstanding flavor of meal.Reasonable prices.
Great food and wonderful service. This is a comfortable dining experience with easy parking only a mile off the interstate. Well worth the short detour if traveling.
