Willie Mae's Scotch House was founded in 1957 and has since been featured on the Travel Channel and Food Network along with being awarded the James Beard Award for “America's Classic Restaurant for the Southern Region” in 2005. Stop by the cozy restaurant with friends and family to enjoy the famouse mixed Fried Chicken basket or choose white or dark baked chicken. Sides include red beans served New Orleans style, Mac and Cheese, sweet potato fries or cornbread muffins. Those looking for a healthier meal have several choices of salads like the grilled chicken salad or the house salad. Taste like old times in the very best way. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. It was great to see familiar faces which added to the experience.

On a Sunday @ 1pm Willie Mae's Nola is a whole vibe. We had a party of 10 for brunch (8 adults and 2 kids) We did not know that there would be a dj or that the place would be packed, but we had an amazing time. Our server Ariane was so patient and attentive, you would have thought that we were her only table. The food runner assisting our server, was amazing as well. The food was excellent. Well seasoned, large portions, and tasty. The restaurant felt very inclusive and friendly. People at different tables were holding conversation. Some of the ladies got up and started dancing when their "Song" started to play. The entire restaurant was singing along to both the new and old school hits. It was truly heartwarming to see. One of the ladies from a neighboring table gave my niece (3) a cupcake and a sparkly pink fan from her party. I spent the rest of brunch teaching her how to make the "fan sound" all the other ladies were making. We loved every minute of our experience, and have vowed to be back and to tell our family and friends.

The service was Top Notch, Food was OUTSTANDING ‼️ That Fried Chicken Will make U Want To Smack Ur MOMa🤣🤣We will definitely come back when we visit Nola Again. Very Reasonable Price on food too.

We had fried chicken, nuggets, and jambalaya. Everything was delicious, but there was a little bugs on the lettuce leaf. When I told my server, she had a new one made and served it without lettuce. Little more care could be taken before serving. This restaurant is one of the 10 restaurants you should visit in New Orleans.....

Had an amazing time! Server (Ryan) was prompt and attentive and offered great menu suggestions. The food was delicious! Music was great but way too loud for us to talk over. Other than that, I am impressed with everything about this place!

You can always tell when the food is good when there’s always ppl coming in the door and willing to wait and it was definitely worth the wait Kandi (the server) was AMAZING!!!
