   Menus cannot be printed from the website. Why? Chef's specials should be presented in writing, not orally (hard to understand). Plates and dishes are way too big. Hence so many obese Americans. Cooks don’t know how to cook rare steaks. Their limit is medium rare. Cooks don’t know about to present dishes in a pleasing way. Dishes are mostly thrown together!

   The waiter & waitress were absolutely wonderful! The four of us were not impressed with the food! We’ve been there numerous times and loved it, but after our last meal, I will have to reconsider.

    Our daughter graduated from college, and we celebrated at William & Henry. The food and service were amazing. Our server even brought over 4 complimentary glasses of champagne. William & Henry is the BEST!

    If you live In Lynchburg or plan to visit anytime in the near future, you have to stop in and dine at the William & Henry. Our food was prepared perfectly, it was served hot and they are not skimpy on the servings. You were not rushed between courses. Our server was pleasant and professional . We can’t say enough kind words about this restaurant. A hidden gem right here in little ole Lynchburg Virginia.

    The food was excellent. The Cauliflower au gratin was well seasoned and perfectly prepared, The Oscar accompaniment for the Rib Eye was excellent and plentiful and the Blue cheese was the same. The service was exceptional. The price was a bit steep for this market, but it would be hard to find better service and presentation in this area.

    I came to have dinner with loved ones before getting married. We sat for almost 15 minutes before we got a server and even then we had to ask for one. Our server didn’t seem to know the menu and was always in a rush to run from the table instead of making sure we were okay. Don’t recommend and I won’t be back.

    Cutting right to the chase, the William and Henry Steak is simply a superb restaurant. It is one of the best steakhouses we've eaten at, and we've eaten at many of the best around the country. Food, drinks, service, and ambience were all excellent. If I could ten stars, I would.

    This was our second visit to W&H and we will return. Melissa provided excellent service. Our meal, the 3-course prix fixe, was excellent. We also enjoyed appetizers which were equally delicious. W&H has an excellent wine list and fine cocktail selection. Pleased that The Virginian, a fine hotel, has 2 excellent dining offerings.

    This was our special monthly date night and it was definitely worth it. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the crème brûlée was amazing. Garth was an amazing server and very attentive along with the other staff. The only issue was that the restaurant was so loud that my boyfriend and I could hardly talk and hear each other but overall would recommend for a special night!

    What a fantastic meal. Delicious starter of jumbo shrimp, followed by amazing steaks and sinfully good sides. The Bordeaux was among the best wines I've sampled. Creme Brule and cheesecake made for a satisfying sweet finish to the meal. Service was sharp and attentive. Felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommended

    We had a wonderful dinner and the staff was very attentive, It was a very nice touch that the manager came to our table to introduce himself and check on our experience! The ONLY drawback was that the restaurant became quite noisy during the peak hours.

    Fantastic meal and top notch service. The seafood special was the highlight of my evening, swordfish topped with crab cake served over sautéed zucchini , onions and tomatoes. Each side we ordered was enough for two. The appetizers were delicious, I can recommend the heirloom tomatoes and bufala mozzarella. What really made the evening special was the service and accommodations. Excellent choice for any occasion.

    Best part of the meal was the salad. Steaks were super undercooked, as were the potato wedges and cauliflower sides. Service was sub par, and we had to find our server twice to request items at the table. Overall the experience was subpar, and totally not worth the $600 bill.
