   My wife and I were greeted with a smile and warm welcome for our anniversary dinner celebration. We enjoyed the 3 course prix fixe, which included a house salad, 8oz filet with two sides, and your choice dessert - we both opted for the coconut cow cake. Each and every bite was delectable, cooked to perfection. Every member of the staff were pleasant and there to serve their guests. This is our favorite spot for these special occasions.

   We came in for combined birthday and anniversary. The service was almost too much (they were so attentive). Best filet in town. Thank you all soooo much for a great evening.

   Food was excellent and the service was even better. We were also introduced to Ankida Pinot Noir, which is an excellent Virginia wine.

   The service we received by Sadie and Jo was superb - they were very attentive during the entire meal. The complimentary dessert for the birthday celebrant was very nice. All of our meal choices were excellent.

   This is a lovely place to dine. We were placed in the very capable hands of Steven and his team who catered to our every need. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The plump chilled shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce started the off meal with great expectations for the rest. Our steaks, and surf and turf, were perfectly prepared to our liking and delicious. The sides were equally scrumptious. Cauliflower au gratin is a must. . The crème brûlée was the strawberry on top. Loved every bite. Just go!

    This steak house (and hotel) is one of the premier places in downtown Lynchburg, Va. The menu (like many upscale restaurants) has a limited, but flavourable choices. They cover all palates - vegetarian, fish, steak and pork (without a huge menu of serving everything under the sun). You know it will be fresh, cooked to perfection, with HUGE portions. You can not judge this place on prices - they deliver at every angle. The staff are very gracious and accommodating. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. The desserts - no comparison to any place I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!
