Delicious breakfast in a neat area! We would definitely go back.
As always, great food and service. Felt safe dining there thanks to their safety measures.
Decided to check out the coolinary menu.. the fried oysters were so light & fresh and the aioli was the perfect compliment. Also, the fried pit hop sandwich was delicious!!!
Great service from start to finish. Masks worn and tables separated. Definitely recommend!!
Food was amazing. Great atmosphere. We will be back!
The food was amazing. The service was not. Nick was our server and he was rushing us. He also took my food Without asking and I wasn’t even finished. I needed extra time to order since I’m vegetarian and my meal is the appetizer, he kept bothering us every 10 minutes.
He made sure I remembered his name by mentioning it twice, so here you go Nick.
Love Willa Jean! Had the yummy banana bread with whipped butter. Short ribs with grits good choice for brunch.
Impressive! Food was well seasoned and quite tasty. Will put this on our place to frequent on upcoming trips.
the food was great, as always. Will come back again!
This place was amazing!! The bakery
Delicious food, awesome drinks, both beautiful and tasty. The only weird bit was that they had implemented a new system where you could pay via Qr come in the receipt and we did that- but then when we got up to leave they all ran over like we were dining and dashing which was kind annoying but id still come back
Minutes after I confirmed our res on Open Table, I got a weird phone call bluntly informing me the restaurant was closing for a couple of days with no other explanation.
Oh my goodness, that was some delicious food! We loved the cornbread and the chicken sandwich. We will definitely go back when we are in town.
First time will go back
The food was to die. The portions were too big. I would happily eat there again. Biscuits were amazing.
A bit hidden away in a residential street, but once you are in, it opens to a big garden with outside tables, a covered area in the garden and a bar and the rest of the restaurant inside. Attentive and helpful staff who fully knew the menu and daily specials, and were charming to boot! Food lovely - classic French country cooking. all beautifully executed. Extensive wine list with a good range form lower cost to high end (it has an extensive selection of Beaucastel of various vintages) as well as some unusual French regional wines ( such as from the Jura - too rarely seen) at fair prices. Can't recommend highly enough!
Incredible food and service! Highly recommend this little gem in NOLA.
I made a reservation which was not honored at the restaurant. I showed the girl at the desk my conformation and got nothing but attitude and eye rolls. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
The food and wait staff was great. I have called the restaurant to speak with management and was hung up on. I hope to return to have a better all around experience, however it is not seeming likely.
Fun take on traditional food. Warm and lively. And delicious!
Beautiful restaurant great service and food, will definitely be back
Great and unique breakfast/lunch restaurant. I had the avocado toast which had some Serrano pepper added to the avocado. Very, very good. Service was outstanding. I highly recommend a reservation though. Without a reservation, you might get a seat at the counter...or have a very long wait.
Service was great! Food was very tasty! Milk and cookies is a must!
The food was amazing. Our table had shrimp toast, chicken biscuit and avicado toast. We started with grilled banana bread. It was heavenly!! We also ordered a king cake that we picked up on Monday. It was absolutely over the top. We would return without a doubt!
Great local place! Nice vibe of a casual nicely decorated restaurant with great food, Baked goods and coffee.
The corn bread, avocado toast, grain bowl and yogurt and granola were all great. Highly recommended
The cauliflower & kale salad is a must! Great food for good prices considering. Baked goods are great as well.
Great chicken salad croissant sandwich! Thank you for the great service and fabulous food. The poutine was amazing!
Willa Jean's corn bread is worth the trip. The rest of thew menu was average and the ambiance was non-existent. Still, the corn bread was worth it!
Winning place for brunch. Food is excellent and inventive, service great, get the avocado toast!
Just a breakfast date between my husband and I. Love this little place for occasions like that!
Was about 7:15pm so a while before closing and the hostess acted as if we had come in with 20 people a minute before closing when it was just the two of us.
Great food, great service!
The cornbread is to die for. Gumbo was good but it is spicy. Chicken salad on croissant was delicious.
In a city with endless options for marvelous food, I make it point to visit Willa Jean on every trip. I simply cannot leave NOLA without their milk money latte and the BBQ shrimp toast. The avocado toast, poutine, and Bloody Mary are also winners but that crunchy bread smeared with burrata and fresh shrimp in that savory sauce is what my dreams are made of!! If you come during Mardi Gras call ahead and order a king cake to take away!!
Great food in a nice environment. Lots of vegetarian options.
The BBQ shrimp and burrata was absolutely amazing, as was the Milk and Cookies (which needs to be shared!)
Amazing food which made up for the fact that management couldn’t make sense of how to seat a large group that had separate reservations closer to one another.
Amazing food!!! Definitely a must stop for brunch.
The pimento cheese appetizer was wonderful, as always!
The food was amazing and the service was on point !
Our sever was simply put outstanding!
