Mediocre at best. Food was ok; expensive coffee that should have been hot was lukewarm. Service was poor - had to flag down the wait staff for every little thing like refills, etc. I won’t be back - too many places in New Orleans to put up with this.
Excellent artichoke dip. Their bread is delicious. Try a coffee cocktail
Very quick to seat and serve had constant service through out the night and staff was very friendly! Would return and recommend. The food was good too! lol
Would’ve given this 5 stars, without a second thought had there not been a hair (or two) in my food. Thoroughly disappointed because what I did eat, tasted wonderful.
Love Love Love the Avocado Toast!!!
Willa Jean is A go to place near the central business district. Reservations for breakfast or lunch or dinner essential. Separate menus for each meal service. Famous for its breads, rolls. Corn bread pastries not withstanding that. The menu selections are heavenly. Add good wait service. A nice bright modern room and you have a crowd chomping and buzzing. Nearly all the time!
Friendly fun atmosphere
Didnt live up to the hype create by the difficulty of getting a table without a reservation
My girlfriend has always wanted to eat here. A spur of the moment Saturday trip down to New Orleans allotted us just the chance to do so. I ordered a Tito's martini which wasn't bad, but certainly not the best I've had. My girlfriend however had a Bloody Mary. She's a hard critic when it comes to Bloody Marys and she loved hers. We started dinner with The WJ Cornbread and WJ Poutine. That cornbread was nothing short of scrumptious! I could eat it anytime of the day and the same could be said for the Poutine...such a savory dish! For our main course my girlfriend chose the Roasted Beets Salad and I ordered the Oyster Chowder. The salad was interesting...definitely not bad just interesting. My chowder was SMOKEY!!! Almost smelt like a pungent peaty scotch (not particularly a bad thing for me). It was absolutely delicious though! Look forward to going back soon and trying some of their other options.
After we ate we bought a cookie from the counter. Paid with a card , but instead of giving me what I ordered right way he left to get change for the register and then came back and gave me what I asked and paid for. Not sure why getting change was more important than finishing up with me first.
Chomped down on a pretty big chicken bone and my husband's shrimp was way over cooked😳but the place was super cute! We loved the look of the place, but the food not so much...
My favorite restaurant in the CBD!
Inventive breakfast menu in a spacious warehouse setting. Not your traditional biscuits; more like beautifully made square croissants.
Wonderful lunch spot! My hubby and I ate here for lunch while on vacation in NOLA, and we weren’t disappointed. He was very happy with his shrimp toast and I enjoyed the roasted beet salad. Ambience was great and service impeccable.
Food, Service and Ambiance was perfect for a business lunch or even a casual get together. The Shrimp toast was "to die for", but other intriguing menu items will be tried on my next visit!
It just didn't have anything special. We had the pimento cheese and tomato soup and the chicken salad. Maybe didn't make a good menu choice.
I can’t remember our waiters name but my gosh the friendliest person ever! Best atmosphere and the whole staff was just super welcoming!! I’m obsessed with this place and I wish I lived closer than 1 hour and 30 mins. But we will make the drive more frequently. The cookies were out of this world and the frozen rosé was amazing!!
Great breakfast! Try the pimento cheese. The biscuits are great too
Everything was very good, not great. We had the poutine appetizer, beet salad and a fried chicken sandwich. A little disappointed in the overall experience. Everything was of average quality IMO.
The worst service I've had in a while. Also, all the food was under seasoned.
The food was amazing and loved the frose! We came with my two year old and she tore up her grilled cheese. It was a perfect early dinner before the Pelican's game. Thanks!
I would recommend Willa Jean’s, we had an enjoyable experience tonight. The food was delicious especially the artichoke dip, and the service was terrific! Ariel was friendly and attentive. She over heard it was my birthday and brought out a St Germain cocktail for the table.
For dessert She suggested king cake and milk money lattes with vanilla bean-a delicious coffee with no sugar! She warmed the King cake and it was very good!!
We will be back for Brunch!
Always love to come here. You never disappoint.
Food was delish and service was good.
Service started great, declined as meal went on. Salad contained brown kale and thick stems; kinda wilted. App was fantastic.
Food took a long time to come out. Very limited menu.
BBQ shrimp toast was amazing!!!!
Very disappointed! We’ve been to WJ many times and this was the worst service we’ve ever had. Our food didn’t come out right and the waitress didn’t even return to our table until after we had already finished. Won’t be returning anymore
Awesome Brunch!! We were there to go to Saints game!
My only issue was the limited menu available when we were there. A fraction of the menu that is available online.
Best breakfast I have ever had - anywhere. That good.
Ok ok ok ok
We are from California and LOVED this place! Food was exactly the right bit of southern and our waitress incredibly kind and helpful. Lots of locals here not touristy. It is a true find!
We came as a big group, promptly seated. The food was great, big portions, notable dessert list and presentation. Good attentive service. Healthy options available.
Amazing atmosphere. GREAT FOOD! Strong drinks. Wait staff very friendly
The food was cold and not seasoned very well.
As always, the food was incredible! Always fresh and tasty! And our server made sure we alway had our drinks topped off. And gave us extra hot water for a second cup of tea.
Great food, great people and the oatmeal cookies we took for our ride home later were the best oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had!! Well done!
Food was great! I love breakfast and the food was delicious!
Was great meal to let the traffic die down after the Saints Playoff Win
