My husband and I dined at Wildwood last week, and the entire experience was a little frustrating. We had never been before, and the waitress - although very friendly - was far too quick to take our initial order. She quickly grabbed us waters, asked us if we wanted to order a drink/appetizer, and began rattling off options. We'd hardly even looked at the menu yet! It felt aggressive and rushed, but she was accommodating to give us time to look at the menu. My husband was unable to order the smoked old fashioned as they were 'out of it.' I assume they didn't have the wood chips or butane? Nonetheless, an additional frustration/bummer. He ordered the regular old fashioned and I ordered the Wildwood Bluebonnet. He liked his drink and mine was pretty good, but not good enough to order a 2nd drink. We started with the cauliflower appetizer, and it was forgettable. My husband had the wedge salad and said it was pretty good. I had the fish and chips, and it was probably one of the worst I'd ever had. While I received 4 large pieces of fish, the batter was so thick and bready that it took away from the fish. The fish also tasted like it was frostbitten. The fries were very basic, and in looking at the menu just now, I realized I never received the side of coleslaw. The ambiance felt a little chaotic and noisy... The hostess tried to seat a table with an elderly woman in a wheelchair, and after navigating them through the entire restaurant it required 2-3 tables to move their chairs for her to be able to pass. Multiple waitstaff stood in the main walkway staring at their phones for way too long, which I found to be unprofessional. There's a station in the back where they could have been less visible. All in all, the restaurant felt very immature and not as polished as the website and pictures gave us the impression it would be. We were pretty underwhelmed and will not likely be going back. There are too many better options in the area.

Good and easy place with decent food. Not cheap, but also not expensive like your standard steakhouse.

I decided to eat at the bar. The service was excellent and fast. I ordered the Spinach Dip for and appetizer and Shrimp and Grits for my meal. The food was delivered quickly. the meal was cooked to perfection. I will be back when I'm in the Richardson area.

We decided to try Wildwood for my husband's birthday. We were underwhelmed to say the least. The chicken and biscuits were very bland and the biscuits were very hard even with the gravy on them. My husband said that his ribeye was very tough. Ambiance was nice enough, but we definitely won't be back. Paid way too much money for very tasteless food.

The hostess was warm and friendly, chatting while she took us to our seats. Waitress arrived right away, and took our orders. Drinks arrived within minutes and dinner was served shortly after. It was all amazing!

Great service. Food was good but the snapper, which my husband and I split, wouild have been larger portion on top of the risotto rice. Unfortunately the fish was overwhelmed by the risotta.

First time at Wildwood. Not far from home, in a shopping center we go to from time to time, so we thought we'd give it a shot. Overall great experience. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Will definitely add it to our go-to regular spots.

Went to Sunday brunch with high hopes based on other reviews. Unfortunately none of the food was good. Beef breakfast taco with egg; meat almost tasteless and potatoes tasted like a poor frozen potato. Salmon cake with potched egg; salmon caked also tasted like a frozen with chunk salmon, egg okay but nothing special. Biscuit was very dry and hard. Coffee was good. Server was very nice but would recommend training on how to handle complaints. She asked about the food and we both said not good at all. She responded enjoy your meal.

TX Sat Brunch! $4 mimosas & bloody Marys -Pineapple mimosa delicious, bubbly, goodness -Cranberry mimosa good for your kidneys delicious bubbly goodness -Coffee this is life. Coffee was delicious. -Started with the jalapeño cheese biscuits with gravy, strawberry jam, and butter. Absolutely 1000% get this as an appetizer for the table. The biscuits were huge, just like grandma used to make -light fluffy huge biscuits. -SALMON BENEDICT My sister and I split the salmon Benedict, you can get the eggs ordered however, you choose. And it's a salmon patties, so it's crunchy and crispy and delicious! The hollandaise sauce was on point and the dish was very flavorful. We ate every single bite. -Shrimp & grits -My other sister got the shrimp and grits and it was divine. She never eats that much and she finished the whole thing. She might've even licked the plate but I'm not supposed to tell you that. We also ended up having a glass of the rosé from province, and it was wonderful!

Excellent food and service. This was our first visit and it was surprisingly good. I ordered the pecan crusted chicken and my husband had a ribeye. Our dishes were perfect and the waiter was helpful in helping to select a wine. The peach ice cream dessert was also a welcome plus! We will definitely return.

It was such a warm inviting atmosphere. It as my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere special, not just a take out place. I was not disappointed! Food was great and really different. It was served very nicely. Our waitress Emily was the best I’ve Ever had. She treated us like we were special and nothing fake about it either. She was genuinely good.

Our server was timely, friendly and attentive. Our food was very good. Noise level is as you’d expect since they were super busy…which is a good sign that speaks well of their business. I’d go again. Food & cocktail Menu is very versatile.

This was my second time going and I brought my family for Mother’s Day. Food was great, my margarita was just ok, but I didn’t expect greatness there. Everyone enjoyed their meal and left with smiles. Our waitress was great too!
