Singer was too loud and not always on key. Heater not prepared ahead of time. Had to go in search of salt and pepper. Appreciated having end table for safety. Hope next time music is only instrumental.
We went to this lovely restaurant for the first time the other day, and will be going back every chance we get! We ordered from the Mexican side of the menu and are eager to try the American side as well. The wet burrito was stunning, and the green salsa on it was perfect. Ask for more on the side and you wont be disappointed. Carnitas was flavorful and tender. Birria plate was well balanced and the consume was a burst of flavor that you could drink on a cold day. Drinks were generous without being overpowering. Live Music was a treat.
Great French Dip Sandwich. Liked the live music too.
Live music for brunch with real patio seating (not sidewalk) next to a nice park. Excellent service, big menu, good food. We will be back!
Great ambience good service will definitely return
The ambiance was fun and enjoyable on the patio with a band playing that night. The food was just so so. While the enchiladas were yummy the salmon was dry and a bit flavorless. Not sure if we’d return again.
The Spicy Tuna and the Ahi Mango Poke were both light and extremely tastey. Highly recommend both. As always, the patio was very pleasant and the service, attentive and helpful. Best restaurant in Vista.
The restaurant's menu is 1/2 Mexican food and 1/2 more Traditional American style food.
Great for outdoor dining. LIVE music too - made me happy. LOVE their menu options.
It was a nice evening and was great to listen to live music
Beautiful outside covered area next to a small stream. Rather limited vegetarian food but the menu was clearly marked for vegan and gluten free. Great background slack key guitar and friendly servers and staff
Exceptional food, service and music.
Went to listen to the band.
The staff was amazing at accomodating our party even though we were late to our reservation and wanted to stay for the 2nd performance by Clay Colton. Super fun ambience with great food, strong drinks and overall terrific time!
Good selection of Brunch menu items and was nice to have live music on the patio.
Brunch at Wildwoods is great. Love the patio, live music and the mimosas. Menu has breakfast classics like Eggs Benedict as well as breakfast burritos and lunch items.
We always enjoy food, drink and sometimes music at Wildwood. We do our best to support local. The service is friendly and excellent. The prime rib is an excellent value and they always bring it at the desired doneness. Good wine, beer and cocktail selections. I like the creative Mexican dishes - don't know anyone else who makes pork belly tacos with nopales! If you sit on the patio during live music, it can be too loud for conversation; but if you are a follower of the entertainer, then it is like a concert for you. Seating is well spaced, staff is masked and always considerate.
As always, food and service was exceptional. The band playing on the patio were the Urban Gypsies, which made the evening most enjoyable. Such a fun night.
Food, service and ambiance are the best. Excellent way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Quinn McCarthy's Irish tunes were icing on the cake.
Food arrived almost cold and service was very poor.
Made 7:00pm reservation for OUTDOOR. Arrived 10 minutes early. We enjoyed a glass of wine in bar...they called us at 7:20....but said there was no outdoor seating. 3 hostesses up front. One of them was downright RUDE and said our reservation was not specified as outdoor which it was. Problem is...rude staff member and didn’t try to make it right. She said there were 4 people ahead of us for outdoor but can seat us inside. WE LEFT and went to Cocina del Carmen where staff was 100% delightful.
We were celebrating my mom’s 91st birthday and actually the initial draw was musician Clay Colton. We ended up having a lovely time dining on the patio. The resturant was very receptive to our request for a table far enough from the speakers but close enough for fun and also warmth (it was probably 55 out). Plenty of heat lamps..... it was perfect! The margaritas, salmon, and burgers were delicious! If anything, Clay’s mic could have been turned up a bit! So fun......we will definitely be back!
Overall I would definitely come back. Service was a little slow but it was understandable because the busiest bartender was our server. But she was very nice and so was all of the staff. Great food and drinks.
It was somewhat loud in the restaurant which made it a little difficult to talk. Our waitress did a good job; however, a couple of the guys helping her kept bringing us things we didn’t order and had to take them back. We ordered an appetizer, but it didn’t come out until our main dishes were brought out, so it really wasn’t an appetizer. My wife’s meal was made incorrectly, but she liked it nonetheless. My carne asada plate was okay. The carne asada was a little over cooked, which made it a little dry and tough. Honestly I’m not sure if I’ll go back here or not.
