Everything was wonderful except the very nice bartender named Orlando was too talkative. Could not even enjoy my meal with my husband. He meant well but he needs to be guided not to intrude. It was our date night that failed due to this. We did not order anything else than went somewhere else to complete our dinner with privacy. Normally, we do not mind the busy bartender to interject here or there. There was no one else at the bar so he totally stood in front of us and chatted and my husband just kept being polite with him.
Outstanding service and food! Love this restaurant! Had the buffalo cauliflower which is fantastic. Also the ribs, steak, fish are all great. Love the herb fries. They really know how to make you feel comfortable in a time like this. We will be back.
Food and service is always great.
From the beautiful interior, to staff and the wonderful healthy food, everything is wonderful. This was also the first restaurant we visited since Covid restrictions and felt very secure that they are doing everything needed to ensure all our safety❤
This is one of the best restaurants in the desert! Such incredible food, amazing wine list, and the staff in incredible. I can't wait to come back!
For our first time there for a newly open restaurant we were very impressed with the quality Inn presentation of the food and professional service
Looking for a nice restaurant with good reviews. Found Wildest and saw that they serve both meat and meat free dishes as my wife is vegetarian. We made a reservation, but were able to find a seat at the bar. Met some amazing people throughout the evening and enjoyed some great conversation. The bartender, Orlando, was one of the best we've experienced. Great conversationalist who made us feel very welcome to be there.

Excellent food and service
Absolutely love this restaurant! Service and food are excellent. The cauliflower appetizer is delicious and we loved our entrees of rib eye and halibut were amazing! So happy to be back out!
Chef very hands on and wanted us to have the best experience! Great menu-especially for vegetarians
Did not go . Restaurant closed COVID-19.
We had an excellent meal last Sunday evening. We had the fried cauliflower appetizer, the stuffed avocado salad, the mahi-mahi fish special and chocolate cake for dessert all accompanied by a lovely Sancerre. Everything was prepared to perfection.
Their burger was amazing. I rarely have a burger but the waiter recommended it and he was correct.
Interesting food and something for everyone! We felt Barry comfortable when entered. The music was nice and the staff are on top of everything. We going back!
dinner was delicious. the roasted cauliflower appetizer was outstanding and enjoyed even by those not normally fans of cauliflower. i would definitely recommend getting it. i got the braised short rib on sweet potato puree. only a fork needed for this!
Lovely lunch. First time customers. Pleasant hostess. Personable and attentive server, Moses. Fantastic cauliflower appetizer. Big helping. Sauces nice. Disappointing watermelon ahi poke. Small helping of fish, seemed like 1/4 cup on a coconut slab which was inedible. Shanghai shrimp on watercress sensational. Draft Sauvignon blanc and draft Cabernet by the glass nice. Slick and modern look. Will be back.
Tried Wildest last Friday night, among high expectations. Was not disappointed! Sat at a high-top in the middle of the bar area, which is great for people watching. Decor is fantastic, modern meets Watutu village. Menu is also modern, with many vegetarian items, if you are into that. Food server blue-haired Tanya was a hoot, water guy did some magic tricks, very fun. Great ambiance, very friendly staff. By-the-glass wine list was quite good, with some unusual selections, ranging from $11-15 per glass. Glad to see Dry Creek Vineyards on the list, one of my favorites. Had the fried cauliflower florets for appetizer. Crunchy and perfect, with ranch and spicy buffalo type sauces for dipping. That dish came out in 3 minutes. Wifey had the king-salmon, crispy skin up on bulgar wheat and vegetable puree. Perfect. I had the braised short rib, huge piece of meat on sweet potato mash, vegetables. Again perfect. Amazing reduction sauce. Couldn't get enough of it, used a spoon at the end to get the last drop. For desert, we shared the pineapple/berry upside down cake with coconut sorbet. OMG! As Tanya said, the deserts are a "labor of love", done by a separate desert chef. A very good experience indeed, we will be back!
Really wonderful menu! Delicious fresh fish entrees!!!
Really enjoyed our time here. Super food. Husband had short ribs on a bit too sloppy purée of vegetables. Great taste though. I loved baked Halibut. Service was friendly but sporadic. Need to be a little more strutted in the service.
Fabulous food. Don't skip the cauliflower!Tables nicely spaced.
Cauliflower is really good for appetizer. Overall meal very good
we went for my husband's birthday - it was outstanding - we had half plant-based and half not - the halibut, scallops and beets, and cauliflower florets were amazing!
Our server, Julia, was terrific.
We so enjoyed meeting and talking with our host, Carissa.
we will be back!
Our first visit to Wildest was fantastic! Our server Matt was attentive, knowledgeable and delightful. The food was excellent - I had the chili rellano but there are so many other dishes I can’t wait to try next time. The Golden Apple dessert was amazing. So glad we have another choice for contemporary, current and delicious food in Palm Desert.
Nice place for enjoyable evening
If you're looking for someplace really different with an eclectic menu and great service, this is the place to go.
We were looking forward to trying Wildest, but extremely disappointed with our dining experience. My lobster risotto was terrible. The risotto was runny and flavorless. The lobster was tough and chewy. When I told our wait person that the meal was not edible, there was no offer to mitigate the cost.
For a restaurant that serves $35-50 entrees, the decor is underwhelming.
We will not be going back.
Food was just okay. Wine too expensive for the pour. Limited menu.😢
We won’t be back.
First time to try this restaurant and we were impressed. We enjoyed the openness and decor. The piano music at 6:30 was great. We enjoyed the singer who had a wide range. We started with stuffed avocado and cinnamon scallops they were amazing. I had the tenderloin cooked medium rare and we both agreed it was delicious. My wife had the halibut and it was a touch dry. For desert we had the berries and Apple ??? can't remember the name but they provided an excellent ending to a perfect meal. We will return.
One of the finest dining experiences we have had in our many years in the desert. An exceptional concept restaurant for everyone’s taste. Whether you are a vegetarian, seafood or meat lover, you will find something that satisfies. The appetizers, salads, entrees, and of course, desserts. We will definitely be back. Not to be missed!
Great food (creative & healthy), service and atmosphere! Will definitely go back!
Food and service were very good, however, I found the music inappropriate and too loud.
Food was amazing (scallop appetizer - wow) and there was live music in the bar area which was an added surprise. Highly recommend
Beautiful space. Enticing menu. Plenty of service staff to take good care of our party of 6. The maple Manhattan was a perfect start. Wedge salad was chilled with an outstanding blue cheese dressing. Lobster risotto was flavorful and just the right size. Definitely going back soon!
Wildest has plant based offerings as well as meat and seafood. The decor is beautiful and the wine list extensive. At times we have had slow service but this was probably due to the fact that the restaurant is fairly new. The most recent visit we had excellent service.
Had a chopped salad with plant based chicken on it which was over $20. Not much taste and mostly lettuce with a bland dressing. Enoki mushrooms were interesting but also pricy and not that flavorful. Jackfruit quesadilla was pretty good. Service was attentive and friendly. Been to the restaurant twice now--once for lunch and once for dinner. They need to increase the flavor levels of the food and aim for more consistency in quality.
Slow service- not very attentive.... food got delivered with long intervals leading for each to eat on his own ... lots of kinks to still figure out. A bit amazing for the price point vs quality of such a restaurant .. Hope it gets better but I for one will not try again - not sure how it will survive in summer when snow birds are gone !!
We dined at Wildest following a recommendation. Upon an early arrival.for our reservation we were graciously accomodated. Our meal started out good with good appetizers which were delivered expediently. However this is where our services waned. It would appear and seem upon arrival of the owners and private party that the attention to our needs and others around us, new diners suddenly we were not important enough. Thus resulted in extreme lack of service, attention and our meals taking significantly long to receive. We were told 3 times our meals were coming, but yet the owners and apparant friends ,associates, elite were more important than us "new" customers. You would think they would want to have us come back and the service would be equal. However upon sitting right beside the owners and watching the interaction between her and locals, friends it detracted from the sevice level appropriate of paying customers. This is unfortunate due to the fact the the food was quite good and deserves praise but the treatment we received does not provide a good dining experience.
Food was excellent.
Lovely restaurant with healthy, tasty food options.
