We were is Seattle for a cheer convention, and our reservation changed from 4 to 6 to 10 people by the time we showed up. They were able to accommodate us all in no time (we were there around 9pm on a Saturday). Service was excellent and food was solid. I would come back for the green curry (thick!).
Restaurant very nice and full for the Lunar New Year. We were in a back booth which made the noise level tolerable. The food was very good, but the service was spectacular.
Excellent food, with a wide variety of tastes. As always.
Service was incredibly slow. Wait staff was unresponsive. Food was fine but painful one hour wait.
Enjoyable lunch and service stellar. Ended up paying more than I’d expect for lunch but next time will order smarter.
Food here is fabulous; it is a great place to go when you want to share dishes. We sat in the bar and I'll never do that again - it is extremely noisy and conversation was difficult. Service was mostly very good except when our dessert arrived very late after ordering and a requested hot tea never showed.
Noisy fan blowing in the ceiling. Attentive service . Good food
Great food, friendly staff, very accommodating to all group sizes and amazing atmosphere
loved the food but the place as a bit hard to find. I don't want to write 50 characters so will hang up
I love Wild Ginger in Bellevue. We love the Siam lettuce cup, Hanoi tuna, green beans, & fish special with curry. But the best part about our evening was the service! Oh and they make the best drinks!
Overall very good food and ambiance. The service was great and the food arrived quickly. Only regret is that the vegetarian options are very limited so my wife did not have a lot to choose from.
We had an excellent meal with my brother and sister-in-law. We were able to order a variety of items to satisfy everyone. The server was attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Wild Ginger is a great place to have a meal or a gathering. The food is special. The service is attentive. This is my third time there. They have vegan selections. If you don't enjoy spicy, it might be worth mentioning this to your waitperson. Thai iced tea is a wonderful treat.
Overpriced food served with slow, indifferent service. For the price, value is equal to grocery store Chinese (the fried rice could have easily come from the Safeway store a couple blocks away).
We spent our 19th anniversary here and enjoyed every minute. We even ran into people we haven't seen for years. The food was delicious and the time well spent.
All of their dishes were outstanding. One of our favorites. But beware that this is a very loud and energetic restaurant, with no sound baffling. If you want a quiet conversation, you won't have it here.
Next time we book a table for two we will need to remember to request a booth. The tables for two are very very narrow and make it difficult to enjoy our dinner. We asked for a bigger table but even though other couples were being seated at bigger tables/booths we were not extended that courtesy. Made it a very difficult evening.
Everything from the service to the food was amazing. I highly recommend the princess prawns and the seven flavored beef!!! Love the sichuan green beans.
One in our party is seriously allergic to salt. A tall order for an Asian restaurant. The Executive Chef (there on a Sunday!) prepared special scallops and sent a side of sautéed vegetables that fit the bill PERFECTLY. Our server was equally accommodating.
Of course the food for our other 3 was superb. Wild Ginger and Shuckers are my 2 favorite Seattle area restaurants.
Amazing food and great service and atmosphere
All the food was delicious, though I would say the Goan Fish Curry was a bit too salty. Service was great.
It's all fine but they really overcharge, especially for the drinks
We went to the restaurant for my wife’s birthday! The entire experience was awesome! The server found out that it was her birthday and brought over a complimentary dessert with a lite candle! We all sang happy birthday and it was awesome!!
The Seattle Times' slam this week against Wlld Ginger was incompetent journalism. We experienced great service and hospitality, amazing food, and nice ambiance during a hectic season and very hectic night (last shopping Saturday before the holidays, Snowflake Lane parade). One has to take a restaurant snob journalist's review with a grain of salt, or soy sauce as the case may be. Wild Ginger rocks, Seattle and Bellevue.
The food was just ordinary. I usually love wild ginger but this experience was disappointing
We had a great experience. Table was ready on time, service was prompt and they got out out of there in just over an hour for a table of 6 so we could make a movie time. Food arrived quickly. It's not a typical Thai restaurant but the food choices were good and everyone was pleased with their selections.
Amazing food, subpar service from waiter.
The decor was nice but the restaurant was very loud. The service was just OK and the food was not good. My entree didn't have very much meat (like three bites) and the sauce was grainy and just tasted like salty water with a hint of sweet. The Satay skewers had no seasoning and each one was just a bit of beef about the size of my little finger. Our price for 2 skimpy appetizers and three meager entrees was $100. Super disappointing and left feeling like I'd just eaten a broken promise.
We were a group of 9 and took different entrees so we could share. All were fantastic. The service was quick but at the same time we were allowed to go at our pace (it's kind of difficult to move along quickly with 9 girls...) and the server was so nice, smiley and dependable.
Super-shoe food service finally served an hour into this visit. After 30 years in business it's bit sad seeing the good quality go downhill with stiff duck bao, overcooked scallops and Trader Joe’s
quality pot-stickers that seemed previously frozen.
Highlight was our server (from Ohio), who did her very best to keep us entertained with such a personable and professional approach.
It was Ok. The flavors of the food sometimes just didn’t work. It was very expensive as well.
Good food but the restaurant is a little dark.
I love the Wild Ginger. So many delicious dishes to choose from. I suggest going with a group of 4+ so you can order several entree's and share family style.
We always have a great experience at Wild Ginger! The fragrant duck is a must.
Wild Ginger is always money. Great restaurant. Service is crisp and helpful, food is always fantastic.
Good food and service
We were seated promptly and met with outstanding service the entire time. We took our children and found the kid's menu very reasonable. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. It is definitely on the pricier side for the style of food but so delicious and worth it.
Wild Ginger never disappoints. Attentive server, fabulous food and warm ambiance. One of our favorites.
Amazing flavours. Some portions on the small side but it worked out as good sharing plates.
