Wild Ginger - Bellevue
Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle area since 1989. Our food originates in regions throughout Southeast Asia from China to Indonesia and beyond. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, our pungent oyster sauce, and more all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

Wild Ginger has been a family favorite for 20 years. Again, the food was excellent and the service quick and professional.
The service was friendly, helpful, & efficient. The food was so tastefully divine! This will be one of our go to restaurants for dinner.
Really like this place and love the varied menu options. There is something for everyone.
Food was great. The green curry chicken was great!!
Great food and service as usual!
Dinner was fabulous as usual! You can't go wrong with the 7 Flavor Beef and the Fried Rice. Our server, Jisu, was an absolute delight!
Very smoky in the restaurant. I think from the kitchen
Terrible service. Act like they are all new and out of sorts on what to do.
Food was fair but over priced.
Would not go back.
I went there for my birthday and the food was delicious. Also our waiter was very kind and attentative.
The hostess & server were spectacular! Outstanding customer service!!
Wonderful and incredibly friendly service! Incredible presentation of very tasty dishes!
We came from Flórida. Wild Ginger was a great surprise. Food was super delicious and service quick and effective
We saw that 7 element soup was back in the menu but it was not the same as it was before they stopped serving it. We were very disappointed. The other food was ok, not great. The new space is smaller and quite noisy but easy to find and get to.
I have been wanting to go to wild ginger forever and finally made time for it after work. The food was tasty - well seasoned and interesting (in a good way). We had ankgor wat chicken, 7 flavored beef, and Dahl. No starters. We also had a scoop of blackberry swirl ice cream which is great for sharing as it is a softball sized scoop, perfectly round, and delicious. The service is where the ball was dropped. Our waiter was also bar tending and the bar was pretty busy. He also did all the bussing for us. And they seated us right in front of the hostess station. We were there at like 6 and it wasn’t super busy so it was like the hostesses were just kind of standing around right by where we were eating. Not good ambiance. In spite of divided attentions, the waiter did ok until the end. I would just say he was a little abrupt and missed a couple things like bringing everyone rice. But at the end he gave us the check and we waited for nearly a half hour before we just went to the hostess to ring us up as he was very busy at the bar. Anyways I know that restaurants are short staffed and covid and yada yada. But this was kind of a treat and the service wasn’t really good. I would go back again as I think it may have just been an outlier and obviously the poor waiter was covering 2 jobs (and IMO one of the two relatively non-busy hostesses could have been helping more). But that is my 2 cents for what it’s worth.
Very nice restaurant, great food and good service
The shrimp and eggplants was a perfect blend of flavors.
We love the Wild Ginger downtown and have been eating there for decades! However this has NOT been translated to the Bellevue branch- the food did not taste or look the same- we sent two dishes back and the chef stated” it can’t be changed! This is how it’s made!” Sorry but if a patron wants the eggplant to be cooked and not raw you should try to accommodate- very disappointing and I do not recommend-
Food was good but portion size seemed smaller - and the satay weren't really satay but almost thin chicken strip. Wait staff was not great
Great dinner - sea bass lettuce cups, Hanoi tuna and duck. Food as usual was very tasty and fresh.
Love this place!!! Food and service is excellent!!
Great service! The food was so yummy but then it always is!!
Excellent experience overall and service was great.
Really good service
Everything was great
Server was fantastic, she made excellent suggestions regarding how many dishes to order and which menu items would suit our tastes. Food and drinks were unbelievably delicious. Decoration and ambiance were lovely.
The good is always fabulous! Kellen is the prefect waiter! Knowledgeable, attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
Our server was very pleasant and attentive. He always followed up after drinks or food was served! The food ingredients was fresh and delicious, we will definitely dine here again,
Our server was great. The atmosphere could have used a helping touch.
Food not as good as I remembered.
One of my favorite meals this year! Flavors complex, great service, nice room…this Resteraunt does not disappoint!
Food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful, will look forward to going back again.
Our server was helpful and attentive. We loved her recommendations too.
Food was delicious, flavorful, and healthy.
Portions were small for the prices, but worth it for special occasions!
Wild Ginger never fails to be exceptional. I brought two work colleagues from out of State and the food was as fantastic as I remembered it. The cod as done to perfection and the lamb chops are like nothing you have had before. Just excellent all around. A bit noisy though and we did have to strain at times to hear each other. All in all though, I will gladly go back.
I was super excited to go to Wild Ginger. I think our server was overstretched with a large, energetic table next to us but he was kind and did his best. It took quite some time to get drink refills and ultimately our third vegan entree came out 15 to 20 minutes after the meat dishes. The whole time we looked for someone to check on the status since the food tunner had very quickly dropped off the first dishes and left abruptly but we couldn't get anyone attention. Ultimately the food was absolutely delicious but it was disappointing there was such a long wait for the one dish.
Our server was attentive and engaging. My spouse enjoyed their salad, but I had the pot stickers and wouldn't recommend them. Also, they have no waiting area to speak of, and so if you have to wait you almost have to go outside.
Very tasty Asian Fusion food, very attentive service. Seating was worn an ratty, really basic thing to not address.
Wild Ginger has been our favorite go to restaurants for ages! Bellevue branch is the classiest, well attended, high quality compared to Seattle. We enjoy the ambiance and service! Never hesitate to ask for recommendations for food and/or drinks! You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Everything was great, but the floors are sticky.
The chicken soup was bland. I think it was called 5 spice.
Our server went above and beyond to get something that wasn’t on menu because of supply issues. ( Roasted Duck) it was delicious as always.
The Sea Bass was superb. However, they have taken some of the very best items off the menu. The tuna tartare and they changed the seafood Thai noodles into something that didn’t resemble the old recipe. So, what I had was mostly very good, the noodles were not great. And what I wanted, and went there for, no longer existed. Service was excellent.
Interesting, a bit different menu,
we'll be back!
