Wigmore Hall Restaurant is located on the lower ground floor of one of the world’s great concert halls, specialises in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song. The 50 seater restaurant is also home to a well stocked theatre bar. The frequently changing menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with with our focus being seasonal, local and always fresh. Situated walking distance from Oxford Street and Bond Street Station, our team of friendly waiting staff eagerly await your arrival to make it a memorable evening.

We offer a 2 or 3 course option with a service to fit all needs from those attending a concert to those enjoying some time in the West End.

    When listening to concerts at the wonderful Wigmore Hall time is at a premium. This is where the restaurant can play a helpful role. My party of five arrived at 6pm, ordered by 6.15, and for the next hour and a quarter enjoyed three excellent courses, promptly and professionally served, and only needed to walk upstairs for the concert. A fantastic treat all round !

    Not quite the level of service I expected or hoped for. I arrived at a time that the restaurant wasn't busy (11:40 for a 1 pm concert) but the service from the one member of staff working at that moment was rather offhand. I wasn't offered the bar menu as well as the full menu and had to ask for it. I said I had reserved but that wasn't checked. The table I asked for was, I was told "reserved" (maybe for me), and I couldn't have it. The table remained empty. The food was good and the service improved somewhat when other staff members of staff arrived, but it was not very welcoming. The concert was brilliant.

    Unfortunately, I arrived well after the time I had booked so the restaurant were unable to provide me with a meal. I do apologise for this as I was looking forward to having a second experience here. My first one was a few weeks ago. In the light of this, I think my scoring is quite fair I will be coming again – and make it on time!

    Good service, poor bar menu food. Too little protein, hardly any vegetables, and apparently no substitution options for the crisps.

    The food and service were good. The ambience in the restaurant was excellent. However the range of the menu was more limited than it used to be.

    The restaurant is rather spartan and not unlike a school dining area. However the staff were friendly and efficient whilst the food was of a good quality.

    We were served a Malbec Argentinian red wine (two glasses) at a temperature of 24 or 25 degrees centigrade. Poured in the glass, no questions asked. When we complained to the restaurant manager he replied that the wine refrigerator was not working properly. He did not offer to change the wine as he should.
