Awesome staff and food
Great service and food. Brussels Sprouts and mozzarella/tomato/basil panini....yum!!!
Service was very good after we got past the hostess who seated us. She was not very knowledgeable and didn't tell our server we were even there for 10 minutes. Food was good, portions are large.
I had dinner at Whitewater Grill with my family of 5. They have a kids’ menu. Atmosphere is fun and they were playing country music. Wait staff were all friendly and competent and hustling around. The menu is more upscale than I expected-I had Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and beet/arugula salad for dinner. You can sit inside where there are sports playing on multiple tv’s or outside. Has a lively feel. Is right next to the rafting place and directly across the street from the glamping cabins. We were staying at the Best Western in Canon City and it’s an 8 mile drive from there. Really enjoyed it.
Our waitress Christina was FABULOUS. She was on point, and very nice! The food was decent, not great. The atmosphere is awesome! Volleyball court, horse shoes, corn hole(bags were ripped though), Axe throwing, Slack line, and cool bar.
Unfortunately I forgot my hydro-flask there. It was special, and was from MAUI, so not just a regular water bottle. I realized I left it on the table very quickly after leaving(within 15 minutes). I called the restaurant to ask them to hold on to it for me until the next day when I would be next door and could conveniently grab it. Upon telling the lady who answered the phone I had left my hydro flask on the table she said "okay, do you want me to go look for it?" In a very bothered and rude tone. I asked her if she could simply save it up front until the next day, and she quickly responded, "it will be in lost and found, bye." and then instantly hung up! She was so rude! and unpleasant, and to top it off when I went in the next day, it was not there!
Due to this lady's attitude and lack of care, I would not return. Sucks how one person can ruin such a cool place.
Luckily, we had perfect weather and it was totally fun! It felt like a beach resort...lots of sand, volleyball, tether ball, hatchet throwing cages, horseshoes...plenty of fun things to do. Generous portions and very tasty! My burger was perfect! We were a group of six older folks and we all really had an enjoyable evening .
I would recommend a friend for the beauty of the place but not for the green chile. It tasted like an entire cup of cumin was put into the mix. Totally ruined my meal and two other people. The food is ok but not outstanding for the price. Favorite of all in party-french fries.
