   We had reservations and were seated in a reasonable time. The three of us ordered different items. We noticed that people ( about 4 different tables) who were seated well after us were getting their food and we were not. I asked the waitress when our orders would be ready. Her answer was basically "when the kitchen had them ready." My entree was the lettuce/carrot salad with chicken on top. It was delicious. One friend ordered the grilled cheese/soup/salad combo. She said it was good. My other friend ordered the tuna melt/soup/salad combo. It was open faced, but the bacon on top was so hard that she could barely cut through it. It was disappointing and she left most of her food on the plate. The waitress offered to box it up and my friend declined, stating why. For dessert, we split 2 desserts: the lemon cake and the creme brulee. Both were outstanding. A manager came over to apologize for my friend's food and he took the item off the bill, which was nice. So, would I go there again? I don't know. Maybe. It has such a nice decor.

   What a lovely Ladies Lunch we enjoyed here. The food is always delicious, and amenable to vegan/vegetarian palates as well as omnivore palates. The service is attentive and outstanding (Thanks, Jack!!), and we love the "Garden Room". Thank you for another wonderful dining experience. You remain at the top of our list!

   We had great service for our large group. All of my guests were pleased with their meals which ranged from appetizers, salads and entrees. Thank you white dog!

   We dine here frequently and usually enjoy White Dog. All the staff seemed entirely new… never seen any of the serve staff before. The mushroom soup was lukewarm and had to be sent back for a hot bowl. Server didn’t seem familiar with the menu or help with suggestions. No toast provided with omelette.

   First time visiting. Loved the decor. Food was yummy. Was meeting an old friend- waiter gave us plenty of time to chat and we didn’t feel rushed.

   The noise level in the dining area was so loud we practically had to yell to hear one another. There was a larger group at one table creating the noise. It was unpleasant and difficult to converse. This would deter me from going again to the white dog.

    A well-constructed cheese plate is one of the joys of life - and White Dog's stands out. Your choice of local artisan cheeses with dried and fresh fruit and a 'surprise' chunk of honeycomb. Jason recommended the Lanchego, a Manchego made in Lancaster County, a delicious addition to our favorites.
