Whistle Britches-Southlake

First time visiting and it was not a disappointment. Wish we had one in Houston but until then, I will be sure to dine in whenever I'm in the city.

So happy that Whistle Britches is open in Southlake. The chicken benedict is so flavorful. Avocado toast has just the right amount of goat cheese. I crave their biscuits and I am not usually a biscuit eater. Will definitely be back.

This is a cute restaurant, however both times we have been we have had problems with our order. Management has made it "right" both times...it would be nice to get it "right" the first time.

Great new spot in Southlake!! Food was amazing! Best chicken and waffles hands down. The cocktails were great also!

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! The food was outstanding. The fried chicken was so tender and juicy. The garlic butter fries are amazing. The service was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend dining at Whistle-Britches in Southlake!

We had a birthday lunch for a co-worker. Service was great and food was delicious.

Cute atmosphere. Great variety of cocktails. Huge portions, so come hungry! We split deviled eggs, a sandwich and the Mac. Everything was great. Definitely will be coming back!

Great food, comfort home cooking style blended with fresh quality of ingredients. Service was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Great staff and delicious food.

Beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere. It was very clean and the staff displayed great hospitality. They worked together as a team to make sure that we were well taken care of. The chicken, biscuits, and grits were very good. Not a fan of some of the spices in the potato salad and cole slaw. Just a personal preference. We enjoyed the whole chicken meal and it was more than enough for 3 people. I also really enjoyed the margarita. It was hand made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No prepackaged anything from here. Authentic from scratch food and drinks. Awesome experience. We will return frequently.

The food was good. But the service was amazing. Preston was the best!

Definitely going back again to work our way down the menu. Waitress was helpful in giving insight into the various options and ended up having the Don Chingon which has a lot going on from a taste perspective anda sizable portion. One of the servings of fries was a tad "mushy" but the other two were spot on and will be sure to bring up next time we go. Not a cheap meal either but you are getting very high quality so it evens out.

Deviled eggs and onion dip were incredibly delish!! It all was good however I did not like their garlic fries. Didn’t taste any garlic and it had herbs on it that were very unusual. Waiter was nice, however when we first got there we waited a while for anybody to wait on us. Then he skipped us ( there was me and my husband) and went to a table of 10 who came in much later than us. The ambiance was very nice. We will definitely eat there again

First time to visit this restaurant but won't be the last. Started with cocktails (the Simply Criminal aka Old Fashion) were made perfectly. Then we a couple of appetizers, the pimento cheese spread and the fired green tomatoes. Both were excellent. For dinner my wife and I split the chicken tenders and an order of regular fries. Both of these were excellent also. The service was also great. We will definitely be back.

Food was just okay and very overpriced. $90 for 3 people with no alcohol. Would probably not return.

So good!! Food was amazing. We ordered biscuits, chicken, chicken fried steak and meatloaf. I recommend all of it!

We had the chicken strips with traditional sides. The food was good and the potions were large. The cornbread appetizer was very good. The prices were high.

Just as good as the original location in N. Dallas; will definitely visit again.

Second visit to Whistle Britches. Ambiance is charming and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the restaurant section instead of the bar as we did the first time. The first visit our waiter was the bartender, he was nice but was juggling many things. This visit we had much more attentive service. The chicken and waffles are really good though the tenders seems much more moist and tender. Drinks are good. We'll definitely be back.

first visit to Southlake location, service was great, food came out quick and lots on the menu that was interesting. WE enjoyed the experience greatly. Nice décor and design inside as well.

Great drinks, delicious brunch, great service, awesome ambiance.

Chicken was dry, drinks are nothing special and very expensive. Don’t mind paying but the quality needs to be there. Ordered chicken fried steak as well and it was way to salty and you couldn’t substitute the green beans for anything else. What if you hate green beans?
Overpriced mediocre drinks, food not cooked to par with the pricing. Will not be back

Loved the food and service.

What’s disappointed in the food. Have eaten at the Plano site frequently. Grits were way too much garlic and peppers. Chicken was greasy. Slaw was ok because everybody has a different recipe just too sour. Server was excellent.

The Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we look forward to dining at whistle britches again soon!

This is a cute new place in Southlake Town Square. The fried green tomatoes and the cheese grits were outstanding. The chicken sandwiches were not as flavorful as I had hoped. The service was great.

I live nearby, am a huge fan of fried chicken, and have been excitedly waiting for Whistle Britches to open. My wife and I went for dinner on Father's Day afternoon.

We loved the ambiance (we sat at a two-top in the appealing bar area), were impressed by the friendly, professional service, and we thought the food and cocktails were very good. We thought the prices were about 10-15% higher than they should be, but that's not surprising, as they're paying Southlake Town Square rents.

I had the 3 piece fried chicken plate (the "Sir Mix-a-Lot"), with very good Cole slaw and their signature, over-sized biscuit (which I ate for dessert, covered in the excellent, house-made berry jam that is served with it). The chicken was well prepared, but I have to add that the pieces were on the small side. Lo-Lo's down the street serves visibly larger pieces at similar prices.

Food very good. Jalapeño syrup outstanding! Mac & Cheese outstanding. Must try!

The food was delicious! The entire family loved their meal, including the picky eaters. We'll definitely be back!

Fast service and amazing food

Start to finish we enjoyed our meal. Katie, our server, was a doll and so fun to talk to. The food was OUTSTANDING! Definitely will be returning.

Food is fantastic. It is way too loud in the restaurant though!

For the most part it was great, good was too salty and the meatloaf looks a bit like it came out of a can (it’s compressed meat) which presentation-wise was surprising. Outside of that, it was great
