service was great, food was good plus the noodles and almost everything was house made. the only downside was how close everyone is seated together, makes it feel like i’m there with everyone else and you can hear everyone’s conversations just as much as they can hear yours. the music was quite loud too so i had to have a louder talking voice to hear my date. other then that it was pretty good

Everything was DELICIOUS, staff was lovely, and the space was beautiful! Great value for a pretty upscale experience- price comparable to other venues in the area, but here you’re actually getting what you’re paying for (if not more).

Wow! What a fun place tucked away in downtown Anchorage. Super cool menu and choices for ramen but their grill is the star of the restaurant. This place has legitimately the best steaks in Anchorage and probably the entire state. Have never tasted anything as rich as their signature ribeye, truly a remarkable and extremely memorable dinner. Well worth the wait and experience!

Very interesting menu with items heretofore unseen. Each in our party had something different and all was good. The waiter recommended three small plates which were tasty and had plenty to share among the four of us. Excellent service by our waiter Gerod.

My Ramen noodles was not cook as needed. I have this menu this’s my number 4 of this menu and I told services man. He said because it’s cold noodles…!!!! I knew cold noodles but while i bite I can tell and see in center are white dough is haven’t cook well. I have it menu often from this place and other places. My experience with cold Ramen is not an half cook noodles can tell is different and have nothing fix. Is very disappointing Cold ramen= cook ramen i received ramen felt haven’t cook to dip in broths soup.

The food was excellent, the service was excellent. It was really COLD in the restaurant. I am always hot but, even I kept my coat on throughout the meal as did about half the others eating when I was. While we are happy there is one vegan appetizer and one vegan entree, we’d like to see more options for we vegans. We’d go more often if there were more than one option for us to eat:

This was my second experience here and it was better than the first time and I had a great first time. I decided to try something different than ramen and had the chicken skewers. It was delicious! Chicken was cooked perfect not dry or over cooked. The shishito peppers, bok choy and rice paired with it were also good. Tried a couple of different cocktails and those were interestingly pleasant. We ended our dinner with the Baked Alaska for dessert … Yum! I would definitely go back again. 😊

Honestly one of the best places I've ever tried. Our waitress was outstanding, super friendly and helpful. Food was beyond excellent, best broth I've ever tasted, and the pork was out of this world! Side note, highly recommend trying the bathroom out, too - you just can't beat a Japanese toilet.

The food was excellent, especially the Scotch Tamago. Excellent ambiance and even though we didn't order cocktails, it was so fun to see other tables be delighted by the inventive and fun drinks here. Will definitely go again!

The service was outstanding. The food was very good, creative and interesting. I wish there was more than one non-fish ramen option. The music was so loud that conversation was difficult, and that unfortunately marred the ambience for us.

The server was absolutely phenomenal. The food was top notch, and went above and beyond to prevent cross contamination for celiac disease! The waigu beef was the most tender cut of meat I’ve ever had, and the bourbon selection is top notch.

Whiskey and Ramen was fantastic! We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was wonderful... he fully answered all our questions and helped us with drink pairings for each course of our meal. Appetizer through dessert, we enjoyed everything we tasted!

Loved!! The yellowtail app was beautiful and flavorful, this was a small portion. I also had octopus dumplings. They were also lovely, would have liked more octopus. The dark horse ramen was Glorious!! I will be back. This is a must, go to restaurant in Anchorage! Priced well also.

I’ll keep it simple, this place is an experience. The ambiance, the drinks, the food, and the service. My wife and I own Alaska Brisket Co and love to try out new places to see how other owners run their restaurant. This place is fantastic and they instantly made return customers out of us.

Everything was delicious! All the food was made in house and I have never had noodles so delicious. Zach was incredibly helpful and gave great advice. Already recommending people to go and cannot wait to go back. Quyana!

It was the first time going to Whiskey and Ramen for four friends and it was fantastic. We had heard that it was hard to get a table, but we got a reservation easily and then learned that they hold half of the tables for walk-ins. Most of the dishes (including most of the ramen options) but one ramen is vegetarian and quite delicious. The wait staff were knowledgeable and expedient. We look forward to coming here again!
