    We went for brunch - it was overall a great experience. All the food was good - we ordered the hamburger medium but it was over cooked and a bit dry. The cinnamon roll was fantastic -we would definitely order it again!

    Team Dinner for a group of eight. Food was amazing - everything from the appetizers to the main course and cannot forget the Whiskey Cake for dessert. DO NOT skip out on trying that! It was SO GOOD! The bone-in porkchop - dare I say it gives Perry's porkchop a run for its money? Those who ordered drinks, including a whiskey flight, were pleased with their choices. Service was GREAT - thank you Erika! This place is perfect for work dinners, happy hour parties or date night!

    Our waitress was very friendly and attentive! The appetizers were incredible and most of the mains were very good. The steak frites didn’t really have any flavor and for Texas it was a little disappointing. However, our overall experience made up for it. I understand why they call it Whiskey Cake. If you are going to name your restaurant after your dessert, it better hit and it sure did!

    The food was great, as was the service. We were shocked at how much fish was served with the fish and chips menu item. It was delicious!

    Always enjoy the good food and great service at Whiskey Cake. It’s a family favorite! Morgan was the perfect server for my 88 year old mother’s birthday celebration.

    Owen was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor has such a charming, lived-in feel (especially the mismatched chairs), which added so much character to the space. It felt like having dinner in a stylish yet cozy home, which immediately put us at ease. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We barely had time to settle in before our food arrived , it came out incredibly fast, almost like they were reading our minds! My partner ordered the steak frites, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. I went with the fish and chips, and I have to say, it was one of the best versions of the dish I’ve had in a long time, crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and full of flavor. As good as the main dishes were, the real star of the night was dessert. We couldn’t resist trying their signature whiskey cake, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It was moist, rich, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of sweetness and a subtle kick from the whiskey. It was the perfect way to end the meal, and I would honestly go back just for that cake alone. Overall, everything from the ambiance to the food to the service was top notch. I would highly recommend Owen to anyone looking for a unique, delicious, and welcoming dining experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
