   We had a wonderful time and our waitress Leah was great! Shalimar loved her Birthday surprise Whiskey Cake and candle. It was so pretty and the sign! We will definitely visit again. It was her first time there and my second time there.

   Very few places would take a reservation for 10 people, Whiskey cake not only took the reservation but also called to follow up to know how many kids would be there and if a high table would work or not which is great to avoid last minute surprises. When we arrived, table was ready was no delays and server was friendly and professional

   Party was seated even though not everyone had arrived, possibly because they weren’t busy, but we were grateful nonetheless. Second half of the party had to wait at the host station for a couple of minutes before anyone came to assist them and direct them to the rest of the party. Wait staff was attentive and professional. Food arrived promptly and at the correct temperature. Everything was attractive. The kids menu item arrived on a cute brightly colored cafeteria style tray. The burger was huge and juicy—to the point of being a bit messy. The deviled eggs were good. I was excited to try fried green tomatoes and they did not disappoint. The beet salad was also tasty and quite filling, resulting in leftovers because we had to leave a little room for dessert! The table shared an enormous serving of whisky cake served with extra whipped cream. Again, there were leftovers, which are always appreciated. Will definitely be back to try several other menu items.

   Flavors were unique and delicious. Some were super happy with their food. Others thought their food was “meh”. One person thought protein was minimal compared to the price paid. I think he ordered the breakfast hash and it came with literally one egg. I can say that when we made the staff aware of an error on one order, they were quick to make it right. Overall a decent experience, not fabulous, but not horrible. Kinda’ wanted it to be fabulous for everyone. Highlights: colossal cinnamon roll, apple french toast, goat cheese appetizer, kids meals - and our server was amazing!

    Initial service was slow for beverage orders and although they were busy, not packed, we had trouble getting our server’s attention thru out the evening. Good food, mediocre service.
