Relaxing, safe- always great food and wine!
Great service, food not as good
Fabulous food, great cocktails & awesome service! Loved it!
Food is always delicious and hot! Would recommend to family and friends
Service was awesome as well as the food and drinks. The best part was the aesthetics and ambiance.
Purple Rain cocktail is delicious. Goat Cheese Fondue is a must. Salmon over ancient grains is scrumptious. Our waiter was super patient with us. Baybrook location outdoor seating is loud due to traffic.
Great food and our waitress was very good and patient with us as we were visiting!
My husband found a drink he wanted to try on the internet and they took down the recipe and made it for him. They were very accommodating everything was great as always
The service was extremely slow. It took probably 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to ask for our drink orders. The appetizer, food, dessert all took a long time to arrive. The food was ok, but none of it what we were really expecting. The best part of the meal, by far, is the dessert. The Whiskey Cake is truly amazing. If you come for any one thing, that should be it. (Or, if you're going for brunch, the Monkey Bread is also delicious.) But, only go if you have PLENTY of time and are ok with it being a very long wait for everything.
I really enjoyed my meal there but it was a little expensive. This will be like a place I go to on my birthday or a special date. I think it was a little loud in there and might have enjoyed myself a little bit more if the music was turned down a bit.
The good and service was amazing! We sat in the half booth, half table in the middle on the right. We started with the local board which was delicious and my boyfriend loved the Guava Gimlet. He ordered the OMG burger and adult mac and cheese and I ordered the Texas redfish and brussel sprouts. Everything was outstanding! The service was phenomenal, she was attentive without coming by too much and it was perfect. We ended the night with a whiskey cake which my boyfriend said was the best dessert we’ve ever had.
This time was horrible. We left and went to another restaurant. We were seated in a horrible area and asked to be moved, we were told it be an hour.
Had cocktails and appetizers. The local board and goat cheese fondue are always great!
I usually like coming here but every time I do I am sat in the bar area. The first time I didn’t mind but this is getting ridiculous. Next time I’ll ask to sit somewhere else. The food is always great so I am not bothered at all in that. This time the service was just not good. The server kept disappearing. We never got drink refills. Everything he did just seemed to be in slow motion. I gave 3 stars since the food was good and usually I leave much happier.
The noise level was so loud (with the house music), that we couldn’t have a conversation with the people at our table, and it made it difficult to hear our waitress. We inquired twice about the loud house music, but they told us that nothing could be done about this. Keep in mind it was a Sunday Easter brunch meal and it made the whole experience horrible. The food was just ok, and our cocktail drinks arrived 20 mins after we ordered them. The cold drinks were served in a hot glass. Thumbs down!
My daughter and I were there for Easter Sunday Brunch. Everything was amazing!
Absolutely amazing, we are looking forward to come back again.
Early on Easter Sunday morning for brunch at 9. I think most people thought they didn’t open until 10 so very few people there initially. Great for us. Prompt service and good food.
This was our second visit. I had the Easter cocktail and the banana hammock. I preferred the banana cocktail better the first time as something seemed to be missing this visit. My boyfriend got the IPA flight again bc he loved it.
We got the Goat cheese fondue again because it is our favorite thing on the menu. For entrees I tried the short ribs, and he got the chicken and cheese melt. His was better as it had more flavors. Mine could have used pickled onions or green tomatoes to offer more flavors. We got the chicken and waffles the first time and I preferred that. Overall great experience.
First time service from waiter was anything less than excellent.
Our waitress was so attentive, I love coming here because their food is always fresh. Would highly recommend this place.
Overall a great experience for our family dinner! Our server was awesome! Food was delicious! A little loud but that is to be expected on a Friday night!
We had to wait 20 minutes due to wait staff being in a meeting. There were MANY open tables, just no one to serve us or sit us at our reserved table. We would have left, but driving to another restaurant would have been equivalent time.
Took friends there for their first visit. They loved it. Our server Rachel was so attentive and couldn’t do enough to make their birthday visit so special. All the staff are warm and friendly and value their customers. Good job Whiskey Cake.
Over all, the experience was good. However, we were seated outside and it was kind of chilly, so we asked if they could bring the shades down, to help with the cold wind and they said they would, but no one ever came to actually do it.
We love WC. The food is consistently fresh and they offer gluten-free options with bread.
Jon was our server, very personable, knowledgeable of the menu and bourbon selection. We had Short ribs, pork brisket and whiskey cake, food was delicious!
Food, service and ambiance were all excellent!!!!
Great food, Great waitress!!
I’m a regular now thanks to the quality drinks, food, and impeccable service.
Great lunch and perfect service. Food was delicious.
Great service and delicious food. Everything is always so fresh.
The Woodlands location is much better.
Birthday brunch with family.
We’ve been here before several times (it was a first visit for our friends.). Everything was great - food, drinks, dessert & service. Whiskey Cake did not disappoint!!!
So good! Food was so delicious and service is always great.
Overall we had a great experience. The food was good but didn’t seem as good as the previous time. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome.
Love that you can make reservations for the patio! Our waitress was very attentive. Goat cheese fondue is amazing. Purple Rain cocktails (gin) were delicious. One of our main courses was delayed but overall great.
The dinner and whiskey cake was so delicious!! It was our first time there and it went marvelous for the 1st year of our wedding anniversary! We both are deaf, our waiter did a great job, and was patient with us as we communicated with writing notes, typing on phones.
