We’re so excited to bring Whalers to Bay Shore and share our love of amazing food and great drinks with the community. Our menu is modern American cuisine, so you’ll find the classics that you’re used to but with our own little spin. In addition to our casual dining and nightlife, we also offer full catering services. With huge windows and views of the Great South Bay, Whalers will be the perfect location to host your next event!

We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee where you will be seated. Additionally, reservations are unavailable for dockside dining, as outdoor tables are first come first serve.

Whalers is modern and fresh with a nod to what it’s like growing up on the Great South Bay. Located right in the middle of the action down on Maple Ave, we are looking forward to getting customers who live locally, but also those who are heading over to Fire Island.

We had brunch and were seated outside. The weather was beautiful and we had a view of the canal and boats...perfect. Waiter was attentive and the service was very good. The food was delicious and we were not rushed. We will definitely go back!

Excellent seafood and comfortable setting. Service is great. Food is wonderful. It’s lovely to sit outside and watch the boats go by and not feel rushed. I’ve had several different things to eat there and everything is good. I recommend the seafood risotto, the tuna, poke, the oysters, The scallops, and the seafood stuffed baked potato.

As always a wonderful dining experience at Whalers! Have dined there many times and have enjoyed many of their dishes. Excellently prepared and presented as well as delicious. The service is terrific as well.

Vibe is amazing. The workers are super friendly. Food is horrible. I went last year and the food wasn’t good either but I thought it was a one off. It’s still bad almost exactly a year later! This time, though, I got super sick. Not sure if it was from the food or drinks.

Whalers never disappoints! Drinks were great. I had the special Margarita which was delicious so I had two! We got the Feta appetizer. Great to have an appetizer that is something different and not fried. We all shared it and everyone loved it. I ordered the Shrimp Parpedella and it was flavorful with plenty shrimp. I couldn't finish it so I had it for lunch. Sitting outside is so welcome after the winter. This is one of my favorite restaurants.
