New shorter menu after the floods. Meals always wonderful at Whalebone Wharf & didn't disappoint. Friend had Barramundi with vegs of mushrooms & leak. Whilst I had Jewfish with burnt cabbage, chosen because the cabbage is always to die for. Dessert of cream Broulee & shortbread & Coffee.

As regulars, this was our first visit after the devastating flood that engulfed our beautiful area and this lovely restaurant. So glad to see that it has made a come back and is as excellent as ever. The mahi mahi was beautifully cooked and our chosen side dishes - confit mushrooms and artichoke and grilled broccolini and silverbeet - absolutely delicious! Once again, it was the friendly, helpful staff that makes this restaurant such a wonderful experience. (not to mention the decor and gorgeous river views) Welcome back Whalebone Wharf! ❤️

We received a warm welcome when we entered with great service during our meal. Due to the floods there were a few things understandably unavailable but as the menu and wine list had many choices, this did not hinder us. I would recommend making a booking and helping one of our wonderful restaurants recover, you will not be disappointed.

Second time we’ve been here and just as fantastic as the first. Food was fantastic, service was great. We ordered the seafood platter for two and it was amazing. It does not leave you hungry at the end. Service was timely and overall we had a great time

Everything was perfect, entrees of prawns and ocean trout were beautiful, mains and sides were both generous and delicious. Kingfish special and barramundi both cooked to perfection. Unusual charred cabbage salad was ahit extra side too. Thick cut chips don’t disappoint. Kipflers were accompanied with speck and a terrific sauce. Service was really friendly but not over the top. We loved our dining experience at Whalebone .. thanks to all there.
