   hostess placed us at a very sun lit table when many other tables were open. We asked for another table which was nice but then we got psssed by on service as other parties who arrived after us were served . As most folks have indicated , it’s very noisy & loud

   Another great experience. We had out-of-town guests and wanted to show them our new restaurant which has gotten better every day. We got the table that we requested, service was wonderful, food was great. Two of us had the fish and chips which were cooked perfectly. Fries tasted as if they were sitting around a while (I've had the fries before and they were fantastic). Halibut was "delicious," and another diner asked for mushroom risotto with no dairy and they accommodated her graciously. Thank you! On the fries and calamari: The fries and calamari many of us have had several times and it's always hit or miss. Either they are perfectly fresh, hot and sufficiently ladened with a bit of oil, or they are dried up. Get this more consistent, and you have a couple more winners! Keep going, Westwind! We love the direction that you're taking!

   Food, wine and service were all very good. Wanted to sit outside but no tables were available, but the hostess seated us at a prime table facing the patio. The noise level was loud!! Would highly recommend except for the noise level.

   Returned for dinner and we were seated at the table by the window as requested. Our server, Oscar was professional, attentive and kind. He noticed that the sun was in our eyes at one point, and offered another table. He took care to get our order correct, served the women first (very professional) and was gracious in his demeanor and delivery. It felt like he should be waitstaff at a high-end restaurant. Never intrusive, but always aware of our needs. We hope to see him again. We had the salmon, halibut and roasted chicken. Both the salmon and chicken were very good. The halibut was ordered by two of our diners, and both reported that it was ok. Overall, the restaurant is improving each time that we dine there. Very happy to see. I have eaten there 5 times in the past 2 weeks and enjoyed each meal. Thank you, Westwind for continuing to strive for excellence.

   Loved all the servers and food. However, the last two times it took quite a while to get our bill. Other than that, always love the Tavern.

   I had made a lunch reservation requesting a table by the window. When we checked in, we were told that those tables were reserved. However, when we passed by on the way to another table, we saw that all 3 tables by the window were open. We were there 1 hr and for that hour, there was always an open table by the window. Not happy about that. Food was good and service was great as usual. Had the Cobb salad and it was very good.

    Great food and wine! I ordered the baked chicken dinner with pilaf and carrots and it was perfectly tender. My husband ordered a Fajita Salad and was very happy especially since it was made with romaine lettuce. One of our guests ordered the Salmon dinner and said it was too well done. We were seated at the table we requested which made us very happy. It was very noisy but less so because we were seated in kind of a cove. The place was quite busy but our service (server Brianna)was excellent.
