West Main Crafting Co. is a craft cocktail bar and restaurant located in downtown Lexington, KY. We make all of our ingredients in-house to provide the most exciting drinking experience possible, whether you’re enjoying authentic classics or inventive new cocktails. We also proudly sport one of the largest absinthe collections in the country. We release two cocktail menus each year, one for the winter and one for warm weather.

Our food menu is a thoughtful, Kentucky Proud, exploration of fresh and regional produce, with shareable plates as well as entrees.

We arrived early to get a seat at the bar. We wanted the personal experience of sitting front and center with the bartender. We were able to have conversation with Christian as we tried different cocktails. The craftsmanship and attention to details makes this place a true craft cocktail bar. This was a proposal date and Christian was an awesome assistant😁.

My husband and I absolutely love West Main Crafting. Hands down the best drinks in town and the food and atmosphere is superb. When you go, ask for Davin, he's amazing! Definitely a 5 star experience everytime.

This place had truly extraordinary craft cocktails and absolutely fabulous artisanal food. We (used to) travel around the world, seeking the best cocktails and cooking wherever we went. Without a doubt we rank this small but serious place among our top ten drinking and dining experiences. And we found it totally serendipitously during our trip to the Bourbon Trail. We enjoyed it so much that we cancelled our dinner reservations for our second night so that we could return here to explore more of their fantastic creations!

This was amazing! My husband had the hangar steak—the best steak we’ve ever had. The marrow was so delicious! I had the soba noodles with shrimp—so perfect!! The drinks were excellent and so pretty, too. We had such a great time and service was top notch—funny, helpful, and knowledgeable. We really recommend this place!

Except for the tuna poke (which was quite flavorless and disappointing), the meal was sublime. Terrific adobo chicken wings, excellent roast chicken, and outstanding hanger steak, with a lovely crust. The warm apple cobbler and house ice cream made a nice end to the meal. Oh, and the two cocktails (Hemingway Daquari and Sazerac) were beautifully "crafted." Finally, we had a very pleasant and attentive server, Alex. Ask for her by name!

We went there in large part because of the drinks. We were not disappointed. We had the Liberal and the Negroni and they were both perfect. So perfect we ordered another round before dinner. We didn't know what to expect from the dinner especially given the smallish menu. But we were really taken by how good the noodles with shrimp and the mussels were. Both were excellent. All in all, it was a fun and rewarding experience. We will be back.

Food was superb. We were in town to hit the bourbon trail and after tasting our meal Saturday night we decided we wanted to go back for every meal while we were In Town but they closed sunday and Monday. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very personable and attentive. We could not decide on our entrees because they all seemed great so we ordered three (husband and me) and took home leftovers. The noodles were out of this world delicious! My husband got the hanger steak served over bone marrow. Very tender for that cut of meat. The man seated next to my husband had the pork chop and loved it. Next time!

Discomfort outweighed the food. We enjoyed one of the 2 drinks we tried. The baked brie was great, but the quantity was quite small for the price. We reserved a table and were sat at a bar height table that was long and had other sitting at it. It felt like we were pigs eating at a trough. When I asked why we could not be sat at a table, the hostess said because others asked for tables specifically in their reservation, but that was not an option in open table which is where we booked through. They did not seem to care and we found out that the couches with tables were not reserved so I am not sure why we were not sat there. My chicken was dry. My husband's steak was very good although there was no edible bone marrow which means the advertisement was somewhat misleading. All-in-all, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are not very hungry and have a lot of money to spend. Also only reserve if you can be sure you are going to get a table.

We had an incredible time at West Main Crafting Co! Our Adobo appetizer was incredible as was our entrées, the Hanger Steak and Pork Chop! Simple yet perfectly cooked and put together with robust flavors! Our drinks were also AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Went with another couple for a great double date. The cocktail menu is very impressive and we sampled quiet a variety amongst us. We asked about wines and they have a house red or white. So, stick with cocktails! :-) The mussels in curry was fantastic and perfectly spicy. The steak was a little under the requested medium-rare, but that was fine with us. Overall, fantastic food and drinks, but it does come with a hefty price tag as the cocktails add up. $240 with tax and tip for 4 people. (4 entrees, 2 apps, 7 cocktails)
