Lobster rolls were amazing! Still missed the pitcher Sangria, they were out again
Food and service was excellent. It was a little pricey but we still enjoyed it overall.
Very quiet Sunday brunch, we were lucky not too busy! Wonderful attentive Service.
I took my mother here to celebrate her new job promotion and we had a WONDERFUL time. The food was great, the service was awesome, the drinks were superb, and the environment was very calming but very modern. Loved our experience.
We’ve been to both West and East Coast. We like West better due to the setup of the tables and food selection.
The only problem was the dish I had was plated in a bowl. It was a blackened Mahi. It came with Gazpacho. The hot fish with cold gazpacho made for a luke warm watery dish. Plate them separately and the dish is fine. My wife got the Rockfish. It had a similar problem. They put a cold salad on top of a hot fish and polenta in a bowl. Put it on a plate and it’s fine.
Next time, I’ll be sure and ask how it’s plated.
Seem to have a shortage of bread. Dishes with great sauces deserve bread.
Will not go back
Unbelievably good food and great service. We ate outside and it was very pleasant. The noise level inside was almost unbearable.
Ordered Rib Eye medium and got rare. Ordered champagne and it was lukewarm temperature. They fixed it but there’s no excuse for these problems.
Delicious food - there were new foods and flavors I hadn't had. The service was friendly and accommodating.
Eight of us had a great dinner/drinks and an amazing server. Place is beautiful. Only thumbs down issue is the kitchen is a little slow and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Take away is go with a little patience and you will enjoy a nice dinner.
Appetizers and drinks were good. The Mahi with gazpacho was not good. The fish was bland and did not pair well with the other ingredients in the dish.
Excellent food. One of the best in Richmond. We will be back many times.
Delicious meal, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service. I've been twice this week!
Nice but bugs and flies outside seating area very irritating. Took very long for foo to arrive
Great food and service
Brioche of lobster roll was not warm & buttered like one from Nantucket.....a little touch like that could have made it so much better.
Wonderful food and good service, but very loud!
My second time here.
Was seated in back room and was very warm.
The servers did close shades.
My food was wonderful and I had the crab cakes for the second time ( highly recommend) , however my date’s steak was brutally overlooked. They did replace, but ordered under temperature wanted and turned out great. So take note, order steak here more rare!
Also first time went on a Tuesday nite and had a perfect noise level; second visit on a Friday night, very loud, get ready to scream at your dinner mates!
We really enjoyed our meal and ambiance. They need to have more wine by the glass choices.
Food was outstanding as was the service. Will request Josh as wait staff anytime I come to the restaurant.
I have loved East Coast Provisions but was very disappointed in my meal. I had the rockfish with arugula, asparagus and polenta. The arugula and asparagus were bitter. The rockfish was cooked perfectly but the taste was so smothered with polenta. The meal lacked flavor of any kind. The other three meals were exceptional according to them but so sad to say I cannot say the same. I will go back! And not order this entree!
We had a group of 10 women and our waitress was wonderful. She really managed the table well and kept on top of our needs!
Expensive, noisey, charge for bread which was not great
I’ve been to the one downtown so I already had my expectations set pretty high but unfortunately was disappointed. The restaurant is new, spacious and nice but the service and food left a lot to be desired. Took forever to get raw bar items. And the entree was just meh. The crowd is definitely more of a surburnite crowd looking like everyone walked out of a j crew, brooks brothers or chico’s catalog. I preferred the one downtown even as noisy and crowded as it was.
Another A+ experience. Took my parents for dinner out. They loved it as much as we do. Especially the Ruby Salts.
This is our second time at West Coast Provisions. The first time was for dinner on a Friday night, and it was packed. The food and service were exceptional. It was loud especially in the bar area which was full.
This time, we went for lunch; and it was calm and peaceful. Part of this is because it was not full, and the waitress told us they had put in new sound panels to help with noise. We will definitely go back!
This was my third visit and the only one I didn’t think was great- other friends have told me it’s been hit or miss for them too- the food was good but not great- the service was below expectation from previous visits- I will go back at some point but not rushing. Pretty pricey for an ok experience
Although it was very loud, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster roll and the scallops were each outstanding and I loved the vegetarian sushi roll.
The place is beautiful, food is great and excellent service
This was the first time here, great ambiance, will definitely return!
Not impressed with the food at all. Mediocre at best. Very cute and trendy looking. Wait staff was attentive and considerate.
We've been to WCP 4 times since it opened. Great seafood!
I enjoyed it but didn’t love it. I got the grilled shrimp over mixed greens. It was good but i was disappointed that for the cost of the meal I only got 5 shrimp.
The menu is very inventive, and the food is always well prepared. Love it!
Great service and food.
Table was by the front door and was a noisy corner (glass, tile and voices). They need more drapes, noise panels, etc to cut down on the background clutter.
Third trip the WCP. I’m still a fan. Staff is attentive, high quality food and you always see friends there (One of THE places to be/be seen).
Beautiful restaurant, incredible food, excellent service. Don’t let the price fool you, it is worth every penny. Only reason why I’m not giving it 5 Stars is because It was my first visit and I haven’t sampled enough of the menu to give a complete review. If everything was as incredible as my crab cake sandwich, 5 Stars.
3rd times the charm. Always 100% top notch. Excellent staff, food, craft drinks, beer & wine.
Chef Trevor is amazing! Food is unique and delicious!
Server not knowledgeable about the wine. That would have been nice
