We sat outside as it was a lovely evening. Unfortunately, there was a speaker next to our table. We'll check on that next time we go. Our server, Cat, was most accommodating. The two women in our group split an appetizer, an entrée, and even a prosecco, and all was split for us without extra charges. We were glad we did as the servings were large. The mussels were fairly flavorless except for the sauce, but all else was good.
Love the atmosphere, food and service. I especially love the outdoor seating under the stars!
Food universally too salty. Otherwise, delicious!
Carson our server was great! Her timing was right on. Food was wonderful. We look forward to coming back soon.
Sloooooow service. 2+ hrs for dinner, 5:30-7:30
$28 for 3 small scallops
Forgot my soup order
$100 for dinner for 2, 3 beers each - left hungry
Loved the service and the ambiance. My scallop entree was a bit too salty and slightly greasy. Friends loved their simply grilled entrees. The cheese plate for almost $20 was skimpy. Cocktails were great. Wine recommendation of your Muscadet was spot-on. I'll be back. Will ask chef to go light on the salt.
A well appointed restaurant with nice outside seating options. Food was good but not exceptional. Wine list was good but a bit pricey. Service was excellent.
Excellent service sets the tone for an evening. Our server seated us even though we were waiting for friends. Brought drinks and water immediately. The servers tag team here so there is no lapse in service. This is our second time and would definitely return.
A few items were a bit erratic. Lobster not available for the seafood tower, with substitute (crab) a bit skimpy. Server did a great job tackling it, tho.
We had a great outdoor dinner. It was quiet, the service was good and the food was excellent.
server was nice BUT we spent a lot of time waiting on her, we sat with finished plates on the table over 30 minutes before the host had to end up coming by and gathering them up for us
We dined outside and the weather was perfect along with the terrific meal, fine wine and delightful service. A very enjoyable evening.
Great food, drink, and location for our Dinner for 6. Will definitely return.
Carson was delightful and attentive. Food was delicious
Amazing selection of unique dishes and they were all absolutely delicious!
This was our first time at West Coast. We couldn’t be more pleased with the food, the service and the setting!
We dined outside and the chairs were uncomfortable. The food was good but expensive. There was no bread and portions were small for the price. There needs to be more choices for side dishes with each entree. The food was good.
We were looking for a nice evening out celebrate my wife’s birthday and this was perfect! Relaxed attentive and even went the extra mile to make sure we knew they appreciated us as much as we them! Love the octopus it’s our favorite appetizer. Once again big thank you to the entire staff at West Coast Provisions for a wonderful night out.
Love the food, atmosphere and staff.
Great food and very accommodating for a large group. Will definitely go back.
We celebrated my mother’s 65 birthday and it was perfect. From the service to the decor West Coast Provisions is a gem and living in the DC area the quality of food for the price was beyond my expectations.
Our server Alex did a nice job of reviewing the menu and the wine list. She was great at guiding us, and all of us enjoyed our choice of food and wine. Seems like the restaurant does a nice job of training their staff. The whole experience was pleasant and efficient.
Yes, but I would tell my friend to not worry about spending a ridiculous amout of money on only good enough food.
We have become weekly visitors and the service is great and the food is delicious.
We sat outside Friday night 7pm, the flies were awful.
Our server was not slammed at all and yet she came to our table not often enough. Case and point: we waited THIRTY minutes alone for our check when we asked for it.
The hostess (girl with bangs) brown hair, she was not very friendly at all.
Our dining experience at West Coast Provisions was not glaringly poor but overall, it was definitely a let-down. The high-priced menu, as well as the food and drink descriptions, allude to a great dining experience but they just didn’t deliver. My pineapple/coconut mojito sounded tropical and maybe a little sweet, but was bitter without much flavor at all. The food seemed to be high-quality but was very poorly executed. The mussels seemed over-cooked and my quinoa dish was scorched, over-salted, and dry with very little sauce. Again, a let-down for sure. The happy hour menu was also lacking. There were only a few drinks and food to choose from. For the money, we will not eat here again. Perhaps they have a lunch menu that is more economical for the variety, price, portions, and execution of the food...but we don’t plan on returning.
Service was not great and food was overpriced.
It was our first dining experience and it was a wonderful one!
Fish was very fresh and well prepared.
Good Margaritas n super Red Wine
Please keep up the good standard
We will be back real soon!
We enjoyed the design of the restaurant, the server was sweet and very helpful, the food arrived quickly. We had steamed whole lobster, overall good but they didn’t cut the shell and so it made for very messy work and was slightly overdone . The coconut sorbet was great. We will definitely go back
great evening, food good, service outstanding, atmosphere warm
Food was disappointing. Bread and wine were good, but took 3 reminders to get the bread for which there was a charge. Ceviche was tasteless except for the strong lemon/vinegar pickling. Crispy shrimp was soggy. First visit, last visit.
Great evening. Wonderful sushi...rockfish...drinks.
Overall the experience was fine but not memorable. The outside patio was a lovely spot with a really good vibe. Our meal was compromised by a server who was not well trained. She was pleasant but did not have a grasp on the art of service, the necessary urgency of service, or the management of her section. I watched other servers in the restaurant demonstrate a more ready for prime time approach so I assumed our server was not the norm. I hope there is an intentional approach from management concerning training and that our server will be offered the opportunity to gain the tools necessary to be a great server. Because it looked like she was willing to take care of us and not just uninterested my gratuity did not reflect my dissatisfaction.
Food was fantastic! Love that tables weren’t too close together and there wasn’t an echo in the dining area.
Excellent food. Service is slow to the table but once they are there it gets much better.
Loud but not unbearable. All of the shellfish dishes are outstanding.
Food was overpriced for the quality. I had the beet salad, beets were bitter; the broccolini was over salted (and it appeared it was cooked in salted butter); the potatoes were not fully cooked and drenched in butter. The kicker-having to pay $4 for 4 small pieces of bread (not complimentary). Service was good, but food quality definitely not worth the $100 we spent (without tip).We had a party of 4 and all agreed we would not be back.
The food was great and our server (I believe his name was Scott) was excellent.
Great restaurant, I have eaten there 3-4 times and always great.
Seems like a new chef and slightly different menu after a few months. Came a few months ago and food and service was excellent. Will try to determine if it was an off day.
