My salmon was fantabulous! The portions more than an enough in all cases (there was a party of 4). The discussion did come up and it was agreed we will be back.
Great food, great service and good times!
Very enjoyable evening. We went to celebrate a birthday so were looking for a fine dining restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our selections, a salmon salad and Norwegian halibut. The soup of the day, beef barley, was delicious. We topped it off with Cherries Jubilee which was prepared at our table. The server was very entertaining as he prepared it.
The restaurant was busy so a bit noisy. The food was amazing. There were 4 in our party and we each had different choices. Beef Wellington, filet mignon, tenderloin medallions and stuffed chicken breast. All were amazing!! The waitress helped celebrate our daughter’s birthday with some nice touches. We were so glad we picked Wellingtons!!
The staff were amazing! Our server was genuinely nice, had answers to our questions, was readily available and made sure our food was alright on time. Less I forget, the dessert was great!
The food wasn’t the best and the portions were too small😂!
Great food, wonderful service and fabulous ambiance for a quite, sophisticated dining place.
It is turning into our go to for a wonderful dinner
Even though they had a staff shortage due to Covid, we received excellent service, presentation and food preparation. Top notch and will be going back.
We used to go because we loved the Caesar salad that is made table-side, but it was very disappointing this time. Most of our meal was disappointing.
Ordered the Wellington, it’s the most expensive meal, and was disappointed with the 3 carrots, 2 pieces of broccoli and a few potato’s that it was served with
Ceasar Salad, Beef Wellington, Prime Rib & Cherry Jubilee
had a fantastic evening celebrating 2 birthdays Waiter was very professional and had good sense of humor Appys were brought out quickly and hot , food tasted fantastic Would recommend Wellingtons
We have been dining at Wellingtons for many years and always come away satisfied. Compared to othe fine dining restaurants we think Wellingtons is the best value. Will continue to be a customer.
I love this restaurant and wish more people knew about it! Easily a better quality experience than the competing steak houses. Food is delicious, service is outstanding.
So everything was amazing the only issue I had was that we were sat near a window and outside wall while it was -30 outside so we could feel a very cold draft coming through the wall.
Excellent food and service as always! Noticed prices were up a bit since our last visit but that was a couple years ago so that makes sense. Good value.
Wonderful food and great service all around. Had a very pleasant experience!
Good was delicious. Did not feel rushed very relaxed environment.
Such delicious food and expertise service
Excellent food and service. Not pretentious but upscale feel.
Ola was a terrific server for our meal. We loved our meal and had a great time.
Thank you for making our Christmas Eve special. Dinner was delicious and the cherries jubilee was to die for! We cannot wait for our next visit.
Service was excellent and food was great. Covid protocols followed to a tee. Would highly recommend for a good evening out.
Christmas Eve dinner
Excellent meal and service at a very competitive price point
Always fantastic service and delicious food.
52nd Anniversary. Alls good.
A nostalgic steakhouse with mature wait staff. Quite loud but that's what created the energy. The prime rib was prepared to perfection.
We dined at Wellington's with another couple this past weekend. We had been here before, but it was extra busy on this particular evening because of Xmas parties. The noise level was quite loud and it seemed like the tables were all squished in together. It was also very hot and didn't feel overly safe re: Covid. The service was good and the food was very tasty. The cocktails were also very good. Overall it was a decent dining experience.
Was a bit noisy but so nice to see people out and about and the food was fabulous!!
The rib eye was disappointing it was thinner than it should have been and over seasoned(seasoned salt) this made the meal over priced.
Service was very good, unfortunately it was very noisy, no real surprise given the time of year.
In summary, we have been long time customers, Wellingtons was for special events so given that we were very disappointed.
It was our first time at Wellingtons and it is a classic steak house. The meat was cooked to perfection, as was the lobster. The sticky pudding for dessert was very good as well . Will definitely be back.
Haven’t been to Wellington’s for a while…but it was amazing as usual! It was so great to see people coming together and celebrating the holiday season…with the necessary safety protocols in place. We had the Prawn appetizer for the first time…but definitely not the last time. OMG! It was superb. Overall, the service and the food was on point.
The big issue was we were seated and no server came to greet us after 30 mins I pulled someone aside and asked. After that service was good but the error was never acknowledged which was a bit offensive, at least to my wife haha
The food is always amazing! Our server Vivian wa absolutely in incredible! She was attentive, helping with order choices and was there for her diners. Thank you Wellingtons and a really big thanks to Vivian! She made our experience a wonderful one.
All good, found the parking in the immediate area a little inadequate but weather and time of years could be contributing factors.
Let's get the not so great stuff out of the way first. We hadn't been to Wellington's since before all this Covid nonsense started. If you haven't been there in a while it may seem like a somewhat less enjoyable experience, but I won't put that on the restaurant. The staff seemed a little harried while we were there, kind of like they didn't have enough people. And there will be a price shock.
That said, the food is up to their usual excellence. Our server, Denis, who's been there for quite a while, by the way, obviously knows how to pass on preparation instructions. And the chef obviously knows how to deliver what is requested. My filet came exactly to my specifications and it was outstanding. My companion's dinner was very good as well.
All in all, still worth a 4 star overall rating.
Had dinner at Wellingtons on December 15th. Food was excellent - had filet mignon, perfectly cooked and vegetables, also perfectly cooked. Will definitely go there again.
Amazing food, flawless attentive service. This is a very well seasoned staff group in this restaurant. Will be back again!
Quite noisy if you are hard of hearing it makes it hard to have a conversation. Great steak place. Jimmy G knows his meat temps for sure. Very flavorful. Expensive but worth it for the amount of food you get. Great place to go for celebrations. Better value for your money than the Keg.
