   This is a classic Calgary steakhouse. It has been around for decades and still striving for excellence without being pretentious.

   We had the worst $200 meal ever at this restaurant. It was supposed to be a special dinner for our 45 wedding anniversary but it did not measure up! The seafood chowder appetizer llooked and tasted like glue, our potatoes were cold and they didn’t get my husband “s order right. We were seated next to a toddler and his family when we asked for a cozy table. We told our waiter it was our anniversary and our desserts did say happy anniversary but they certainly did not come free. A very un-memorable experience. So much so we will not return to this restaurant.

   We had a large cut of roast beef. End cut and it was very good. Came a little cold but took back and returned in perfect way. We split one order and was great. Cheese cake for desert also very good

   The overall experience was amazing. The beef Wellington was slightly under done. Requested medium rare and it was definitely rare. Also the steak Diane was more on the rare side than medium rare. Vivian was our server and she was fantastic.

   Nostalgic old fashiloned steakhouse. Great to see the traditional ways are still vibrant and popular

   First time there and of course we had to try the beef wellingtons. They did not disappointed! Excellent food and service!

   Service was friendly and prompt. Prime rib, steak, and bread were amazing. Only complaint is a mediocre escargot. Wine selection was short but well appointed. For the price point, this is the best Calgary steak house I have been to.

   Overall a lovely Easter dinner experience. As always, Vivian gave exceptional and warm service. The prime rib was very tender, but a little underdone (requested medium rare, but received blue rare).
