Well Hung Vineyard was started in 2008 by three women in Virginia! “Well Hung” is a well known term within the wine industry for robust grapes hanging low.

Well Hung Vineyard’s wine is sourced from California, Washington & Oregon. Five of our twelve wines have won medals in the last few months. Our Petit Verdot won best in class, out of 200 wineries a few months ago.

Come by and try out our amazing food, wines and cocktail selection from the beauty of our second floor patio, our grand second floor dinning room, or our white oak bar!

Came in for lunch, and Blaine the bartender was amazing, he kept the drinks flowing and the laughter was like no other! If you stop in make sure to ask for Blaine, you will not be disappointed!

Had a flight of wines and dinner. Enjoyed the wines but one was too sweet for us. Food was really good but by 7:15 they were out of oysters. Service was excellent.

Regarding oysters - Our oysters fresh harvested oysters, from Rappahannock Oyster - Which only last a few days, before we dispose of - Unfortunately, we went through a large quantity of oysters, prior to your reservation. Such a fun venue with an awesome story behind it! So glad we sat out on the porch so we could hear the live music that was nearby. Highly recommend the wine, the food and the merch!

Inconsistent servers, long wait in between different servers. Then back to first waiter for check.

Easy to find on Market St. We showed up earlier than our reservation with no issues. Chose to eat upstairs for the open air breeze. Loved their frozen wine slushies and appetizers. Definitely a winner!

One of the best meals we had while in Charleston!The charcuterie board, shrimp and grits, and seafood pasta were all fantastic. Our server, Ashley, gave us a great dining experience, and we chatted with Blaine, the manager, who was great too. Loved the balcony seating and attentiveness of the staff!

Decided Well Hung Vineyard last minute this morning and I wasn’t disappointed at all! We sat out on the balcony and you can see the HORSES!! That’s so cool! We got the shrimp tacos and man those were so delicious, we tried their new wine called “Three Way Chardonnay” and that was just the perfect Chardonnay I needed today! Thank you Well Hung Vineyard for the great service!

Out of oysters and out of steak. Very warm upstairs. Service was good. Mushroom fries and burger were good but very strong flavors. Wine slushies were not very good.

We were placed on the upper level, second floor of the winery. There was about a 20° difference on a hot sunny and 90° day. When you first walked in on the first floor, it was wonderfully air-conditioned and as they walked us up to our table and up the stairs you could slowly notice the change in temperature.. I felt like I was on a second floor enclosed boat deck. There was an air conditioner placed in the window that was there to serve the entire upstairs and it was very hot and clammy as we ate. The prices seem to be very high, but the food quality was just “OK “. Wine was a little overpriced for the quality and they offer “wine tastings” but only a bundle of what they choose- you cannot pick your own. Not impressed. Not returning.
