Amazing restaurant with an exquisite food.
Delicious food presented with care to taste and appearance. Our server was A+. My only wish is that perhaps we were given a choice of sitting more toward the front of the restaurant versus the back. The two sections have different vibes for perhaps different clientele and I'm not a fan of green neon light and it didn't completely suit our 50th birthday celebration. Overall a lovely meal and atmosphere and occasion.
Really quite nice. Lovely space, tasty food, lots of fun. Very good choice. Glad we went.
I love this place and had not been since prior to pandemic. Food and menu are still great. Unfortunately the outdoor seating is partially right on the street leaving a lot to be desired in terms of ambiance. There is a separate outdoor seating area set back off the street which looked much nicer.
Would not recommend. Spent more than a hundred on small portions of poorly cooked food that left us hungry.
Came here with a party of 4 on a Saturday at 5pm to celebrate a recent engagement and were thoroughly underwhelmed. Ordered one of the pizzas, uni bucatini, and fried smelts.
The pizza crust was fairly burnt, to the point that the whole pizza was very bitter. We spent a long time trying to figure out which of the ingredients was bitter, until finally we realized it was the bottom surface of the crust itself. The bucatini was also undercooked and had a gritty/crunchy chewiness as well as a raw flour flavour.
We considered bringing it to the attention of the waitress but we had 3-4 different servers during the meal, and the one who initially greeted us seemed very new so we decided not to embarrass her or put her on the spot.
Food was OK but not great. Overpriced pizza and pasta. We had the wheat pasta with lobster. If you like raw bar, that is very good but we were disappointed in the Pasta as it was very rich and not that well flavored.
Dollar oysters are amazing and the staff and ambience are wonderful!
FOOD WAS SIMPLY SENSATIONAL! Every dish was perfect. I know this restaurant well but it is even BETTER than before the pandemic. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
Fantastic food. Twist on regulars amazing. Good service. Bit loud.
The food was very good and the portions good considering it is all served family style. The oysters were excellent.
Fresh raw oysters, $1 each, with tasty dipping choices. Whole branzino an absolute must. Magical dressing on the salad. Very unusual pizza. We did not find the food to be overly salted as other reviewers stated in the past.
Parking is obviously challenging, but it's worth the trip. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant! The service was amazing and the food delicious! They have $1 oysters between 5-7 pm and they were great! Had the crab and angel hair pasta which was delicious and the deep dish pepperoni pizza. The pizza was very watery with a ton of tomatoes and a little salty but the flavor was good. Not sure if we’d order again.
Great meal! We sat at the patio so they didn’t check in as much. But it was totally fine as our party was too busy catching up.
We will definitely be back. All the staff were great but our waitress Ingrid was amazing. Very friendly, took time to explain dishes we were not familiar with and is great at her job.
Server was terrible. Menu tried too hard to be interesting. Food was terrible. Overall experience terrible.
Great experience and amazing food. Our server John made it an awesome night with his recommendations (and sense of humor)
The whole roasted branzino was excellent (recommended by Johnathan our server!). The NY Strip Steak though good was served cold. If I were to go again, I would stick with seafood.
My husband and I had a great dinner at Waypoint!! We ordered the salmon tartare, whitefish pizza, and lobster cacio a pepe and everything was amazing and flavorful. When we asked our waiter for cocktail suggestions, he sent over the bartender who made us drinks based on our preferences. We’ll definitely go again!!
Food is excellent but the place is very noisy
Service OK - almost too quick (2-course dinner in 30 minutes)
Worth going yet for the food, maybe not when the place is overcrowded
Waypoint never disappoints! What a great neighborhood spot--so glad they finally reopened!
Food amazing as always. One if my favorite restaurants. My only critique of the restaurant is that it is always very dark and often very loud so not good for conversing in groups. They even had loud music playing on a Wed evening. Never had loud music before so maybe was an odd night. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food and service. Many new young servers who thus far have all been delightful
Delicious food. Service a bit slow. But great place.
Great atmosphere and inventive cuisine. Oysters were good but not great on the day we went. Our server was knowledgeable and fun. We had high expectations for the food, and it fell slightly short on this day.
Both the appetizers and entrees were delicious and perfectly prepared.
We had a wonderful server that made the evening. The food was good too
Excellent food and service. We will come back soon.
Food is great! The pasta dishes we had were over the top!
As always, we had a lovely evening at Waypoint. Happy that they made it through the challenging year.
Santiago was a great server. The clam pizza was really good and the ambience was perfect.
We sat outside and had such a lovely experience! We had delicious drinks (mine was the gin drink with mint), 48 $1 oysters between the 2 of us, and a couple appetizers. Livia was a wonderful server and the outside experience was fun! Know if you're sitting outside that you are on the sidewalk and in the hubub of central - we didn't mind it but good to know when you reserve!
They took forever to give us the drinks, then gave us the wrong food, etc. Not going there again.
A pleasant evening out. The vibe is urban casual, the crowd is well-mixed. Kitchen produces some interesting dishes with subtle flavors. Wine selection by the glass ($14-$15) limited but satisfactory.
Everything was excellent except there wasn’t any a/c and it was a warm, humid evening. Fortunately we asked for the windows behind us to be opened, and that made it a good experience.
Watch out for the serer who wants to join you for the evening - 3rd wheel so t speak. Also, the advertised $28 Caesar with lump crab and baby gem lettuce was the standard romaine.
Delicious food! We sat outside, which was a bit noisy since it’s on a busy street.
Oyster happy hour is a great deal!
Pan pizza was DENSE. Would have been a great appetizer at 1/5 the size
