Chef Michael Scelfo of Alden & Harlow welcomes Waypoint, his second Cambridge restaurant.                                                                   Only negative was we were seated in a booth that looked old and dingy and had large stickers to cover up what looked like old upholstery. The one I was sat in was sticky from the glue of this. I asked to be moved and they did, but it wasn’t a good look. All the other booths had the same sticker covering. I think it might be time for them to replace the booth upholstery.

                                                                  Server was at our table every couple of minutes when we arrived and needed some time to look at the menu and talk; when we needed more wine and steak knives we couldn’t find her.

                                                                  The host ignored us when we arrived as he was on the phone and didn't acknowledge us which wasn't a great start. Food was just ok. The server was not very attentive and didn't seem to have a great grasp of the menu. And the booth we sat in had no room for our legs or feet due to the strange iron table bars that took up all the space under the table. Overall not impressed.

                                                                  Absolutely wonderful service. The dishes were excellent. The raw bar dishes were really appetizers for one person, but very good. The brussel sprout dish was perfect for two. Over all, we can’t wait to go back.
