   It was a great place for lunch. I had the curry chicken salad. Very good but I would have prefered it on whole wheat or sourdough bread. It came on a plain pita. The french fries were hot and tasted good. The highlighted burger on the menu was ok. It needed a bit of heat/flavor. The bun did not hold together. The gumbo was ok. The service was excellent. The host was welcoming and I appreciated the high top table had a ring to rest our feet.

   New Years’ Eve…We had a nice time. Really good service. Great drinks. The menu is reasonable priced by limited entrees. The food was good, not great. Still, I would recommend the restaurant. We will go back for sure.

   We liked the place and our waiter. He was very pleasant and the noise level was not a problem. The food was not anything special at all. I had the chicken salad on the pita and it was hard to recognize what it was in the pita. My husband had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was better but he wished that he had ordered the basic hamburger. This seems like a place where sticking with the simple might be better.

   They were slightly understaffed and packed as a result of the holiday. However, each and every person smiled, hustled, never complain, and were extremely courteous. It’s nice to see wonderful, customer service, and hard-working people these days. The manager/owner delivered our food and wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory… He’s such a nice guy and he does this often. If you’re in the Holland area, do yourself a favor and visit, you will not be disappointed!!!

   My wife and I wanted a romantic but casual night out and chose this place on recommendation from a friend. The ambiance was nice and I loved the beer taps as coat hangers for patrons. We were seated at a great table that I requested so we could people watch on a brisk, Winter night. The server was nice and did his best considering the kitchen and bar were clearly running slowly. It took a long time to get drinks. As far as the meal goes, my wife ordered her steak rice bowl with medium well protein temp and got more of a medium rare. I ordered what sounded like a great, quirky option of a hot dog Reuben. The Reuben was sloppy and not well executed. It had potential tail to be crafted as a delicious take on two favorites but came out as a diner sandwich on regular bread slices that had hot dog slices falling out of it. Very light on saurkraut and heavy on dressing. Had I been chef, I might have made a foot long dog on a pumpernickel roll and topped the dog with Reuben ingredients. But what I got was a sloppy sandwich with tiny, broken potato chips like the end of a bag of chips. Our experience was not positive in spite of what seemed to be a very promising menu from a skilled chef that I took the time to research. Over all, it was an overpriced experience for not much better than diner food.

    Food was fantastic! Service was great. I had eaten here a while back and service was very slow at that time. This was a great improvement. My cocktail was so-so, but that may be just personal preference since I tried something new.

    We frequent eat at Waverly Stone Gastro Pub in Holland. The menu and food is always good and the price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and competent. We had a very enjoyable dinner.

    Christmas parade downtown; we had to change our reservation from 4 people to 6, and they were very accommodating. Good food, excellent service 👍🏼

    The octopus cooked perfectly, loved it. The chorizo burger is very good too, tender and juicy, good flavor. Hope they can bring the Smoked Pork Belly back, that was my favorite from this restaurant.

    The service and ambiance were fine, but the food was disappointing: the rice and vegetables were tasteless, and the fish (mahi-mahi) was, well, fishy.

    As out of towners we picked waverly stone because it looked cool, but were pleasantly surprised by how delicious every dish and drink was. The Scallops and Ramen was incredible and theirs is the best creme brûlée I’ve ever had, and I get it everywhere

    Service was slow to start and inattentive as our meal progressed. Two of our party like their entree, two were “so-so”. Probably better for lunch than dinner in our opinion.

    The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating. Highly recommend the whipped goat cheese, curry chicken salad and the loco burger (kimchi on the side).

    Ultimately it was just ok. Goat cheese appetizer was good. Ordered a second beer and it took at least 15 minutes. Server kept apologizing. One draft beer. Should take at best 2 minutes. Place was busy but not that busy. Half full maybe. Scallops and risotto was good but at 35 bucks eh? Our Son had the burger and it was cooked correctly and was tasty. The pork fat potatoes. He described them as good if I had them at home but not restaurant quality. Expected them to be be crispy and they were not at all. Server never checked on us after food delivered. So at over $100 for 3 people I was kinda disappointed.

    I understand the waitress wants to turn tables quickly, but I felt rushed from the get go. Just wanted to have a nice dinner without being in a hurry for once. Appetizer was great, my wife's dinner was great, but my scallops risotto was very over cooked. Having said all that, it's a great place, and we will definitely be back again.

    Nice atmosphere - lively without being too loud. The server was friendly and attentive and checked to see if an appetizer that had been sold out earlier in the day was available again (it was!). My husband had the Basmati Rice Bowl with chicken and I had the chorizo burger. Both were excellent. My only disappointment was with the fries - they were typical and given the creativity of the rest of the menu, I expected more. That's the only reason I didn't give the food a 5 - so kind of nit-picky on my part. We also had the baked Halloumi cheese (a must) which was great. Overall, a good value and we would go often if we lived in the area.

    excellent home-cooking comfort style food. salmon and mahi both cooked to perfection. kimchi was the best i’ve had and put the meal over the top. great wine selection. cool vibe. i would eat there once a week if i lived in Holland as it’s great for every day dining, but also good for special occasions.

    Excellent food and nice variety on the menu. Food presentation was awesome. Service was very friendly and attentive and a great drink menu. Need to return to drink through a few more of them. We sat at a table near the bar so it was a little noisy on a Saturday night, but still able to have our own conversation and the loud group wasn’t there the whole time. Even tho we were at a table in the middle, it didn’t feel like we were crowded too close to others.
